It was mid-day. The sun shining down upon the grounds of the school. It was Kevala's first day and already she was beginning to hate this place. She had run into a group of girls who, on no uncertain terms, hated her. Funny thing was, they did not even know her name. Just that they hated her. Not that she really cared. She just could not figure out why people took one look at her and thought to turn away. Sure, she dressed a bit differently. But from what she had seen so far, a lot of people did.
Then there was the whole mental defect she had. But she made sure to keep that hidden from their sight. Nobody here knew about her little, addiction. So, that could not be it.
Shaking her head she turned to lean back against the wall of the now almost empty hallway. Dressed in a pair of faded denim jeans and a pink t-shirt, both of which held tightly to her petite and curvaceous form. Long black hair fell down past her shoulders, extending downward to her waist. Those startling blue eyes looking down at the floor as her small hand gripped tight to her backpack. She had accidentally forgotten her MP3 player at home, or else it would have been turned on and the ear-buds planted within her ears.
This sucked. Big time.
Even the guys in this place seemed to be a bit stand-offish from her. Which was strange. She usually made great friends with the male portion of the species. She seemed to be able to relate to them better. Always had. In all her foster homes, she had hung around with the boys, leaving the girls to their Barbie's and my little ponies.
Sliding down the wall now, she would let her rear end plant squarely on the floor. Drawing her knees up enough to rest her arms upon them. Maybe she needed to make a change? Nah. She didn't think she could do that. She liked who she was. Well, aside from the whole addiction thing. But other than that, she thought herself a pretty cool person to be around.
She supposed she would just have to get used to this place and the way people treated her. Shifting her pack to the side, she reached in, grabbing her newest book and pulling it out. She had time between classes and what better way to spend the time alone than to read?

Being alone wasn't such a bad thing.
Lest not to Gabriel, he'd lived a lifetime alone; Parent's murdered before him at the tender age of eight, denied socialization till he was about the age of twelve. He was even tourtured in the stocks twenty yards under Englands oldest Prison. Life had been rough giving him a hard lesson in humanity. If they don't like you, make them fear you.
Lesson #1:
Gabriel Seran strolled the hallway this fine morning, to some this might seem out of place, didn't this student have class? Not that it mattered he was ditching spending his time avertly planning a few crucial issues. Though chances were good that he'd bump into some pillar preaching to him about going to class he didn't care. He outpowered most of them the only one was Blaze who he had a slight respect for. In which case he wouldn't be heading in too soon.
The Black Knights were semi-in-order, the ranks had recently been filled and duties were strewn about so presently Gabriel had no problems. That needed to be solved.
A student, male by the looks of it, stood drinking at a fountain innocently slurping down. 1,2,3 NO WATER HOG! Gabriel came across and knocked the boy out in a single strike to the face. He leaned over enjoying his share of water before turning about facing his eyes on a girl reading some book (ooc: -flails- wish I knew the book then I could use a witty comment here!).
"Curious, and I thought this school was just about fighting..." Gabriel chuckled quite amused as he wiped away the water from his lips.

She had been lost in her book...Stephen Kings "The Shining" (ooc:sorry...drew a blank earlier..hehe) until she had heard the sound of the boy at the water fountain being knocked out. Followed by the sound of a voice.
"Curious, and I thought this school was just about fighting..."
Those icy hues looking up towards the sound, one brow lifting slightly as she shrugged her slender shoulders. That was the impression I got as well. Though I am not a fighter, so I read. She offered a soft smile then, friendly in nature; even though she was waiting for some wise crack remark. Or for that look of hatred that everyone around here seemed to get when they came near her.
She was not usually one to complain, but she was bored as of late, and when that happened, she tended to get into trouble. So it would be nice to have at least one friend.
Her eyes shifted then, turning to the boy laying on the floor not far from her feet. Shaking her head and grinning softly. He really cant take a punch can he? Pathetic, by any standards.Sure, some may have thought they guy before her, well, the one still standing, a bully. But she just figured that around here, it was normal, and who was she to question such?

He stood. As a ninja. A giant ninja. Atop the roof, glaring down at these children as they ran about. They were all going to die.. except one. Her. Shes hot. He followed her inside with his eyes and would have jumped from the roof into the massive hedges, cushioning his drop. He poked his head out from the bushes, looking around, making sure not to be seen, and would have slipped inside after her, coming against the corner of the hallway, his head tilted around it just enough to see the action going on.
Gabriel. What was he doing here?! Of all times! He was talking to the girl the big man was trying to stalk at the moment. Hmm. Nuisance. He just stood there, watching them, as quiet as could be, hell, even had slowed his breathing so as not to be heard grunting or puffing.

Gabriel chuckled lightly, the guy not being able to take a punch was probably a brash saying considering one of Gabriel's strength went reletively unopposed in this school but he wasn't one to float his own boat. Rather there were more important details to tend to. The Shinning? Evil spirits and whatsits possesing a place beyond the law's reach.
"We all shine on…" Gabriel made a selfish reference refering to how the man would probably get up soon. "Then again I suppose not."
Gabriel shifted his body aside noticing an imoble object int eh corner that resembled a soda machine, due to it's height and sheer bulk. I don't remember that being there...?
"The name's Gabriel, I don't think I've seen you around before?" he perked up a classy smile not tending to the issue of Mr. Snack Machine creeping up.

When did they put that giant ass statue thingy in the hallway? Huh...She shook her head as she took note of the immoble thing...guess it was a statue or part of a wall. Her attention turning back to the guy she had just watched puch out another. His little comment not missed and causing her to grin slightly. Shine on...funny...I am Kevala. Nice to meet you Gabriel. So, is everything around here always so violent?
Where most girls would have sounded a bit put off by the violence. She seemed a bit interested. Not for the fact of fighting, cause she could not do that...(ooc:and her mun was not good at it either..>.>)...but she did so enjoy the idea of blood spilling all over the place. What with her condition and all.
Those icy blue eyes looking up to that handsome face before her and a smile spreading across her lips. So, I am going to go out on a limb here and say that you are quite the lady's man as well as one of the trouble makers. Would I be right?
Casting a sideways glance at the....what the hell was that....coke machine? Nah...too big....Oh! Somebody must have left a piece of furniture there or something. Like a bookcase for a classroom or something like that...
But enough about that...she turned back to Gabriel and waited now. Paying no mind to the thing parked in the hallway.

There was not a whole lot for him to do. He just stood where he was, fighting back the urge to grab for his mp3 player, as he was currently listening to the louder parts of their conversation. Something about shining?..Eh? A shake of his head and he settled back against the wall, sliding down it slow enough that not a sound was let loose. He was not even peeking around the corner anymore, instead relying only on his sense of hearing to gauge where they were.

"Quite often actually, anything this calm you're probably lucky.." Gabriel made a cocky smirk a he leaned against the wall with a curiosu facade about him.
He listened in on her assumption, Lady's man? Quite on the dot, Though not something openly discussed nor admitted to. Trouble maker? Most Definatly, once more something he wasn't quite at the liberty to share, his stigma was already bad enough trying to regain it was some actual difficult work.
"I'd give you some credit," He smiled with cunning endeavor, "However I am curious as to what draws you to such a conclusion? Curious yourself I might ask." Gabriel smiled certain of himself, never a dull moment with him for sure.
He shrugged lightly no longer worrying for the good-ol-snack machine hidden away in the distance. And then the thought popped in his head. More for his army perhaps? Certainly never stopped him before.

She moved now, pushing herself off of the floor and standing now. As he finished speaking, she would move a bit closer to him. A grin slipping onto her lips as she tilted her head slightly. Mischeif in those blue eyes.
What gave me that assumption? Well, first there is the idiot who you punched out. If you were a good boy then you would have just waited your turn.
With that she took a step closer, now only about a foot away from him, those eyes casting upward not to meet his.
Secondly, you have had that, "hey baby, I could rock your world" smile on your face since you started talking to me. I dont know however, if it has to do with me, or the simple fact that I am female...
With that she raised her brow, arms coming up to cross over her chest. Her mind alert however as she could now not see the piece of furniture. It had moved...What had that been?

Blah. Blah. Uninteresting banter it seemed. Something about Gabriel being a ladies man, pft. Still. Gabriel was one for pretty words and a nice smile, Katsuri was more blunt and to the point when it came to women. If he wanted your body he was going to tell you. Kevala knew this. A simple yawn and he let his head idly bang against the wall, no longer interested in stalking them it seemed, more or less lingering around out of spite.

Hmm... Gabriel would muse to himself with the curious smile he held, he'd already been having enough woman troubles as of late and figured it be best that he take a sideline route to this one however from first interpretation this one had inherantly had no shame nor was afraid to stand up and speak her mind. He liked that kind of people, there was a specific potential to that undoubtably.
"Well of course being a woman certainl;y gives you that alluring factor," Gabriel would say with a small wink teasing right back, "However I have the feeling that there are other things you may be suited for..." Gabriel smiled inwardly shifting his eye contact down the hall momentarily. It proved to be a double edged sword to scan the hallways for pillars and to give a certain flow of feeling unconcerned with her advancements. To snake in the woman appearing uninterested was always a good strategy.

She grinned at his words, taking that final step toward him and allowing her hand to come up, resting on his chest as she raised her brow slightly. Other things she may be suited for? Interesting way of putting it she supposed.
Hm...You could say that. I am good at a lot of things. But, there is one thing I tend to be best at...
She trailed off, that hand running down his chest lightly and then pulling back as she shrugged softly.
But then, regardless how much of a ladies man you are, or how tough you are, I am not entirely sure you could handle that which I am so very good at..
With that, she would let those eyes fall down over his body, obvious what she was doing. Checking out that which she had so very close to her now. Taking in a very clear appreciative breath and then returning her gaze to his face.
Though, I may be wrong. What do you think?
That grin curling on the edges of her pink lips, a few black locks falling down across one of those icy hues. She was never scared to say that which she was thinking. It was pointless to beat around the bush and to avoid the point at hand. So, she didn't do it. It was who Kevala was, and you either decided to take it and enjoy it, or turn away and leave it behind.

Thud. Thud. Thud. Thud. He was too busy to really notice at this point, but his head would have shifted itself so he could stop ramming his head into the wall and instead stare up at the ceiling. He began to count the dots, one at a time, in the fiberboard above, dropped down like any other "newer" school, and given 259's constant destruction it was cheaper.
He sighed, reaching into his pocket and pulling out his flask, taking a drink of it before setting it off to the side. They were still chatting about Gabriel being a manwhore? Oh ho. Then the female struck back with something about Gabriel not being able to handle her. Now THAT got a grin, wondering how the man would take it as he knew well enough he was not one to let his mind be challenged and back down.

IT was a test for him, morality over pride. Undoubtably he'd have no problem dealing with her the simple fact was that was a place he wasn't inclined to go. More pressing matter's stressed Gabriel's mindset, there were quite a few dillemas he had in store and whether or not she could become a part of then. It changed nothing.
Gabriel smiled slightly revealing a short chuckle, "Cute, Though that wasn't particularly what I'd had in mind when I said that you'd be suited for better."
Gabriel smiled with coy indulgence as he pressed a small lock of hair back out of his face, "Seems you have quite the talent with seduction no doubt from what I can tell, as for books you'd be the first I've seen reading around here. So you'd surely have a driven intellect. Stop me if I'm wrong here..."
Gabriel said as he set a hand on her waist and would push her back against the original wall she'd been leaning against.
"I would wonder if the gang life could better suit a weary mind such as yours?"
The question that would come next would be to ask if she was interested in him.

She allowed that hand to rest at her waist and to have her small form pushed back against the wall she had been leaning on. Those eyes staying upon his own as he spoke. Hm...Interesting indeed this guy was.
As he started to list off what he had observed of her thus far she would grin softly, so far so good. Not stopping him as he continued. It was only when he was done and his question had been posed that she would shrug those slender shoulders softly. That tone slipping forth once more, though this time a bit softer.
Mm...I have to say that you are right in your assumptions of me. But as for the gang idea. I am not sure I am gang material. I am not much of a fighter...
More of a ......lover......
She would then let the tip of her tongue run over her pink lips, those eyes shimmering a bit with the light of the hallway. Her leg shifting just enough to brush against his body as she remained there against the wall. Her hair falling about her softly and a few strands even managing to make way to her face. Though for now she left them, too intent upon the guy before her.
