Mathew sat alone in the streets of the neutral zone. His legs crossed under him and his eyes closed. His chest rising and falling with each breath barely. He had been here for quite some time. He was aware of his surroundings. Feeling the stone under his body. The foundations of the building. The streets and the side walk. Even the hunks of debris that littered the street.
There was more than that though. Now he felt the metal as well. The rebar under the cement holding it together. The pipes of the sewer and water system. The world was alive to his touch and will, and he knew he could shape and shift it, which he was doing even as he sat there.
Though he kept it small. Finesse over power. Not his usual tactic but one he wanted to work on. His hands were pressed down in to the ground, channeling his Qi which slowly worked it's way through the stone. Repairing cracks and impurities. Fixing the pipes below and reinforcing the stone. He was slowly but surely making this street better than it was before the war even. It would seem to be brand new by the time he decided to leave. Which wouldn't be for some time yet.

Jackson and his Mob of 40 come galloping up the street. They halt as Jackson spies Amtrum and raises a fist to halt.

Levi walked through the broken streets, avoiding the cracks in the asphalt as a kind of game to keep himself amused. This city had seen the effects of some attack, but it was far from dead. Some businesses still stayed open, and it wasn't exactly barren of life. Levi stopped as he noticed the cracks in the asphlt simply stopped at a certain spot, had someone been fixing the roads? He followed the path of non-destruction until he saw a man meditating at the center of the repaired area.
Impossible....
He walked closer and stopped a good twenty feet away, standing with his legs shoulder length apart and his arms folded. He watched, intrigued as the man repaired the roads with some unknown force. He finally spoke as his intrigue over came him.
"I don't know how you're doing that....it is amazing.... but how is it possible?"

He could feel the rumbling of the mob approaching from his North, a lone figure approaching to his South. The stone betrayed their movements to him. He was flanked, probably dangerous for him. Barker had already sent one assassin for him, perhaps now he was planning on sending an army after him. It didn't matter, he would prevail. Then the one to his South spoke.
"I have tapped in to the spiritual energy that runs through us all and harmonized it with the very earth beneath our feet."
He said as he slowly opened his eyes to look upon the mob in front of him. Slowly he rose to his feet. A fluid and graceful movement. Bare toes shifting and moving the stone under his feet like sand. He waited to see what was going to happen next. A fight? Or something else?

Jackson whispered something to to a few members, and the Mob retreated a safe distance away (READ: They hauled outta there).
"Hey, AMTRUM!" Jackson yelled, as soon as his Mob was gone, Jackson ran up right next to him, and whispered, "static entry." He then handed Mathew a piece of paper with a crudely drawn smiley face.

(OOC: Changed my color....little easier to read  ) Levi did not reply to the man as he pondered what he had meant by "spiritual energy." He had heard of this before, and his grandfather had mentioned it too, but this was the first time he had ever witnessed anyone using their Qi. He was intrigued and wished to know more. "I...have heard of this before but have never witnessed it first hand, and I must say I am more than impressed.....please, I am always looking to expand my knowledge of martial arts, if I could...."Levi was stopped short by another man addressing the qi user. He had seperated himself from his gang and was handing him something. Levi crossed his arms and listened, content to observe for now. |

"Hmm?"
His head turned to the lone man, green eyes sweeping over him before he heard a familiar voice call out to him. Jackson, that kid they beat up in Dragon territory. Mathew took the paper with a raise of his eyebrow as the man did a static entry? Whatever that was. He crumpled the paper and tossed it at Jackson.
"You want to learn how to learn how to channel Qi?"
He said glaring at Jackson, but talking to Levi behind him.

Kyrie was above, watching over Mathew while he was working on...well, she didn't know what he was working on. But watching and learning never, ever hurt. So it was interesting to see the dumb one with the mob of forty and an unknown entity approach and begin to speak. She strained her ears to catch what they were saying...
"...soon..."

Levi's grey eyes widened as he realized, after a few seconds, that the man was speaking to him. His hopes were high now, the idea of expanding his prowess into something so new was exciting to him. Even his normal calm demeanor seemed anxious, though he did his best to keep most of his composure intact.
"Very much so, learning such an interesting art would be a honor. If you are offering your instruction, then I would gladly take you up on that offer."

A small smile pulled at the corner of his lips. He stepped back and shifted to look at both men. His arms dropping to his sides before they made their way in to his pockets. He would give each of them a hard glare.
"If you think you have what it takes to survive and serve in the Dragon Corps with honor and distinction then follow me. We will make you strong."
He would begin to walk away, past the man who had come alone. Toward the land of Dragons. After three steps he let out a sharp whistle.
"Kiyr, you are coming too."
He didn't even glance at her.

Jackson glanced upwards at the new arrival. He'd seen her, when he'd been DYNAMIC ENTRIED into the territory of the Dragons.
"'Sup?" he called out to her. Turning back to Mathew, Jackson asked him, "Can you train me too? Not apprenticeship, just training." Jackson still wanted to figure out how to use this power inside of him.

Mathew was recruiting more for the Dragons? Well, she did say a Dragon knew that growth was paramount in keeping strength flowing. Kyrie's fingers gently flexed over the stone edge of the building she was perched on as they started to move.
She hopped over the edge, braced her feet, and shot down on a diagonal through the air, twisting and flipping her body over itself to land on her feet, roll, and pop back up. Even with her special shoes, her footsteps were quiet, but just audible for Jackson. Mathew could always hear and sense her...
But for Levi, he wouldn't hear a thing.
When Jackson called out to her, she just raised an eyebrow, but said nothing, speeding to Mathew's side with mostly silent footsteps. She took his right side, as was her normal habit...but she peered curiously at Levi underneath her lashes. Just a few fleeting glances, wondering.

The dragons corps? It seems I'm unfamiliar with the powers that be in this town....I will have to make sure that I learn what I can quickly, lest it cost me my neck.
Levi hid his confusion and smiled as he was not about to turn the man's offer down. He kept pace As the man walked past him, taking his left side, about 2 feet out. Levi's eyes snapped to his right as a young girl came into view, which would have starled him if not for the man's call out to who he assumed was this girl. He wondered why he had not heard her, it was hardly important, but it did make him curious. He cracked a small smile, nodding in acknowledgment of her silent feat and turned his gaze to the man who had invited him to join the Dragons. Levi normally didn't introduce himself first, but given his status in comparison to the man who could repair a street with his spirit, he made an exception. he gestured twoards himself and then towards Mathew.
"Levi Kayamei....by what name may I call you?"

"Mathew Amtrum... The Earth Dragon."
He said simply and slowly. If by some chance the guy did not know who he was, he would at least be able to gather that Mathew thought himself pretty important. He didn't look back at Levi when he spoke or followed him, nor did he seem to notice Kiyr's presence once she appeared behind him and to the right. As per usual.
"The road ahead of you will not be an easy one. You will be expected to toil and suffer. To become part of something greater than yourself. But if you have the fortitude and the mental willpower, you will be forged in to so much more than you are now."
Though not in the same was as Kiyr was. Unless David decided to take Levi under his wing as an apprentice. The only named Dragon without one. It was possible, if improbable.
"Do you think yourself capable enough to master the challenges you will be faced with?"
