OOC: Delilah. Sorry Gemmy, my brain went to bed on me, so I just went with anything XD) The faint sound of metal clanging could be heard issuing from an abandoned garage, as inside, a figure could be seen moving around through the broken panes of glass. Crouched down beside his motorcycle, dressed in his usual red headband, karate jacket and gi, Kazuya was giving his bike a tune-up. Now you're probably asking, why is Kazuya working on his motorcycle, when the world has been blown to kingdom come, and nobody gives a rat's ass about how shiny a car is anymore? Simple, Kazuya liked working on his motorcycle and cars, it was a useful skill to have especially if you need to hot wire an enemy vehicle, if there were any around. What little tools he managed to salvage and find on the ground beside him, he'd reach over for a wrench, and continue with working on his bike.

Scavenging once again for all extra parts for the Crows, Delilah's next destination would be an old garage she used to frequent in the days when she ran her own shop. That had been a simpler time, back when she was running a chop shop under the table to build the vehicles required for the assault Barker had planned on #259. Which she hadn't been apart of. She sighed inwardly and tturned up the street towards the garage.
Her keen ears picked up some sounds from within and she slowed her pace to silence her footsteps. She entered cautiously to observe a man deep in the repair of his bike. She smiled at the sight of it. It was a crotch rocket for sure, one of the newer models. Yamaha wasn't a bad brand, though. Delilah preferred something sturdier, but she definitely appreciated the bikes obvious speed factor.
She liked it when things went vrooom.
Leaning against the wall a little ways off, Delilah would simply watch him work in silence.

Tightening up some screws and placing the wrench down beside him, just as he reached over to grab a socket wrench, he would notice a faint shadow from somewhere behind him, and would turn his head very slightly to look behind him. Whoever it was didn't appear hostile, just merely observing. Despite being unable to make out the person's features, somehow... the figure was familiar... But he couldn't remember where or when exactly.
"Come to scavenge for some tools? I'm afraid there's not much of a selection left, what you see beside me is all that's left, which was already claimed."
His voice would sound pretty familiar to Delilah though.

Her eyebrows went up slightly when he turned his head and glimpsed her. She would remain silent until he spoke as she tried to get a feel for how he was going to react to her presence.
"Come to scavenge for some tools? I'm afraid there's not much of a selection left, what you see beside me is all that's left, which was already claimed."
Her eyebrows drew together at thesound of his voice. Distant alarm bells went off in her head as a half memory struggled to form. She let it go for the time being: when she was ready, she would remember.
"That's a shame," she would reply. "I don't really need tools, it's the leftovers I'm after. Wouldn't happen to be any extra bike parts lying around here, would there?"

Just as distant alarm bells went off for Delilah at hearing Kazuya's voice, so too, did distant alarm bells go off for Kazuya at hearing her voice, half a memory struggling to rise to the surface. Her voice... why did it sound so familiar to him...? Shrugging it off, ah, whatever, when he remembered, he'd remember.
"I found a small pile over in the corner. It's not much, most of it had either been taken or blown up, but there might be some parts in there that you were looking for. Kazuya Ryuu Hikari."
Now didn't part of that name sound familiar too...

Okay now THAT was hella familiar. Still, her memory refused to cough it up. Muttering to herself as she sifted through her pile of memories and strode towards the pile he indicated.
"Thanks...Delilah Black."
She started to look through the pile, putting aside a gear shift, a crappy looking belt, a used set of filters. She tilted her head as she looked, still bothered by the not knowing but still kind of knowing who this guy was.
Maybe more conversation would help.
"Soooooo, I haven't seen you around here before. Not in Long Beach anyway. Come to think of it, you actually look--RYUU HIKARI!!" She shouted suddenly, pointing at him. Eyes wide with victory.

That name... Why the hell did it sound so familiar to Kazuya? He was just on the verge of remembering, but his memory didn't feel like cooperating just a little more. Returning to tightening up the bolts on the wheels of his motorcycle, he had just finished and was about to answer only to nearly drop the wrench in mild shock as his name was blurted out randomly, seeing Delilah pointing at him, her eyes wide in victory.
"Yes, that is my... Oh, now I remember you. You were that girl that was banging on my front door and bolted in to hide from those guys that were chasing you. It's been a long time."
Finished with tuning up his motorcycle, he'd place what little tools he managed to salvage away in a small satchel bag he had brought with him and stowing them away in the hidden compartment of his bike, he'd turn and fully face Delilah, his arms loosely folded across his chest.
"I've been spending my time wandering around since the world was blown to kingdom come. I didn't stay in Long Beach for too long before then. Training and meditating was all I've been doing since then. And you? What have you been up to since that day?"

"Yes, that is my... Oh, now I remember you. You were that girl that was banging on my front door and bolted in to hide from those guys that were chasing you. It's been a long time."
She laughed delightedly, turning fully around to face him. It wasn't too often she met someone from the old days. And those were definitely the old days, before the met Stu even, way back when in San Francisco. She propped her elbows up on hee knees and laces her fingers together to support her chin. "Hellz yeah it has! You're the last person I would have expected to run into all the way up here in Long Beach, But it's great to see you again. What have you been up to?"
"I've been spending my time wandering around since the world was blown to kingdom come. I didn't stay in Long Beach for too long before then. Training and meditating was all I've been doing since then. And you? What have you been up to since that day?"
She rotated her wrist flippantly as if to say "not much" before launching into a brief telling of what she'd been up to. "Oh, went to jail, spent a bit of time in an asylum, had a son and now I'm working with Crow's! How long eare ya in town for?"

"Sounds like it's been quite an adventure. Congratulations on having a son, shame he was born in such a terrible environment. Perhaps if I ever have a child, your son could meet mine."
If only Kazuya knew he'd soon be summoned to London, England, to take over custody of his son...
"Ah, so you're part of Kiyoshi Akechi's gang. He tried to recruit me into his gang, but I unfortunately skipped town before I became an actual member and received a sash or tattoo or whatever a Crow received. I will be in town for as long as I am needed. It was rather difficult to resist the pull of the city that held memories for me."
Good and bad. It truly was a delightful surprise to see Delilah again. Come to think of it, when he had met her, she had been there too.
"I've been spending my time training for the day I go to Dragon Territory, to try and become a part of their gang. It's been a long time since I last saw David Blaze... But I digress, have you found anything of use in that pile? It appears it was thoroughly cleaned out, sadly."
Before she could answer though, the sound of rustling could be heard, followed by the top of a furry head popping out of the pocket of Kazuya's black bulletproof overcoat, as his pet cat, Kuro, stuck his head and front paws over the opening of the pocket, and meowed sleepily up at Delilah.

She nodded as he spoke, a little saddened he wouldn't be joining the Crows. A shame, they could use someone as strong as he was. Nonetheless, the Dragons would be lucky to have him. She was sure David would at least be happy to let him try for the honour. She herself was a friend and ally of two of the three named Dragons and had helped to forge the alliance between them and the Crows.
She looked down at the pile to tell him no when a little 'meow' caught her attention. Delilah's head would snap around in surprise as she laid eyes on the little black cat sticking his head out from Kazuya's jacket. She gasped in delight: Delilah loved cats. They were nature's very own ninjas. So sleek, so clean, so independent...Delilah had always felt a kinship with cats. The fact that she had never been able to own one saddened her greatly.
"Well well! Who is this handsome friend you've brought with you?" she said, speaking both to Kazuya and the cat. She twitched the fingers of her left hand as an invitation to come out. "Sorry for waking you up." She looked back up at Kazuya, clearly delighted. "Where did you find such a beautiful cat?"

"Ah, look who's awake. Delilah, this is my pet cat, Kuro. Kuro, say hello to my good friend, Delilah Black."
Kuro meowing happily up at Delilah, clearly he did not mind that she had woken him up, he would paw at her before Kazuya lifted him out of his overcoat pocket and deposit him on the ground, Kuro immediately walking up to her and sit down in front of her. It would appear Kuro liked her already, seeing as his name translated into English was "black," the same as her last name.
"I heard scratching at my door, and opened it to find a kitten starving and mewing weakly. After Kuro had recovered, I let him go, but for some reason, he sometimes came and visited me, even though he was a stray. He's been with me ever since, going where I've gone. I think he really likes you."
That was the understatement of the year, seeing as Kuro would leap into Delilah's arms, meowing happily at her.

If there was one thing Delilah loved more than cars (other than her son), it was those of the feline persuasion. When Kuro jumped into her arms, it took all her will power to not squeal with girlish glee.Instead, she started scratching under his chin and behind his ears, cooing softly.
"It's a good name. You're lucky to have found him as you did: most of the cats here are feral and don't trust people. Man, I would kill to have a cat..."
And Oliver could use something to keep an eye on him. She'd have to look into finding some kittens...
She nodded at the bike behind him. "What seems to be the problem?"

Kuro's eyes becoming just slits as he was scratched under his chin and behind his ears, purring contently, he'd nuzzle against Delilah, his fluffy head rubbing against her, letting out a meow. He agreed, Kuro was a good name.
"I'm not surprised, the world that we knew is gone now, it's essentially become a free-for-all. Kuro could easily take care of himself in this new world, but he decided to stick with me. If I ever come upon a stray kitten, I'll let you know, Kuro is bound to know one or two that he was friends with in the city."
If they hadn't died when the city was blown up, that is. Turning his head slightly to look behind him, at his motorcycle, he'd turn back to her, his arms still casually folded across his chest.
"...? Oh... There's nothing wrong with my motorcycle. I was just giving it a tune-up, keep it in working condition. Better to out-speed Barker's minions with a smooth running vehicle. And it never hurts to learn how to work on cars, in case Barker ever has vehicles, then we can hot wire them and take them for our own."
Meanwhile, Kuro would curl up in Delilah's arms, his tail swishing slowly and his ears twitching every so often.

"That'd be great if you could. Otherwise I might have to take this lil' guy!" she was joking of course. Kuro, as COOTSEY WOOTSEY as he was, he simply was not hers.
Oh, but if he were....
She listened to his explanation of what he was doing, nodding along, smiling slightly as she continued to pet the pretty kitty. "That's actually what I'm doing here: I run the garage for the Crows, I'm tuning up the entire fleet of dirtbikes. Preventative stuff, but they're also pretty rickety."
It was all they had.
"You make do with whatcha got, right"

"Sorry, even if you did take him, I think Kuro would find his way back to me from Crows Territory. This guy has an amazing sense of direction."
Oh Kazuya knew Delilah was joking, but just because he did, didn't mean he couldn't play along with the joke. Kuro leaning into Delilah's touch as she continued to pet him, he would continue purring contently while continuing to nuzzle against her.
"Huh. You're their mechanic now, though it sounds like you've got your work cut out for you. It seems spare, useable parts are pretty scarce these days, and I think it's a given that all of us have to work with what we've got."
With a gently flick of his tail, Kuro would shift himself before taking a quick snooze in Delilah's arms, which was apparently quite comfortable for this cat.
"I wish I could help you with your parts run, but I barely found anything of use myself. If I could find another vehicle, then I think both of us would be set."
