Mental Information
Personality: Although Leta expresses the best of intentions and is a kind hearted person, she has the tendency to express a curiosity in the darker things of life. She is easily underestimated, but shouldn't be intentionally provoked or irritated, or she will make it clear to the aggressor that she is not to be messed with. She would only fight in a state of need, (ie. for a friend, or defensively) and is likely to walk away mid-fight. Her hearing is exceptional. She is tragically shy when first met.
Mentality: Relatively rational.
Ideal: Leta is the ideal best friend. If you are lucky enough to become her friend, she will remain loyal, and by your side always.
Belief: She has no religious views, and believes only in that which she perceives herself.
Physical Information
Build: Slender/ lean muscle
Defining Marks: One scar running from her right eye down her cheek. One other scar running mid-neck to the dip in her coollar bone.
Description: Leta is a relatively tall young woman with very pale, milky white skin. Her near white hair, white eyes, and light pink lips give off the impression that she is a trustworthy person with only the best of intentions for the people around her. She has a perfect smile, and is just strikingly beautiful. Her hair is just below shoulder length, and her bangs are almost always swept out of her face. But if she is feeling negative, she will, more often than not, let them hang in her face to hide her eyes, and her cruel intentions. She is often seen shoeless. Though she loves to smile, she is often seen expressionless. It is easy to recognize when she upset, because she holds her hand to her mouth. Her shirt seems to be too big for her, because the collar hangs loosely on her shoulders, and the sleeves cover her hands so much that only her finger tips are visible when they are at her side. Her body is long, slender, and perfect in every way. Her legs are long exceptionally long. She looks out the window as if she can see outside. When she fights, it is so fluid it looks almost routine. Her skin is very soft to the touch, but she only likes hugs from people she allows to be close to her. Other than that, she dislikes physical contact and will push away any unwanted advances.
Apparel Information
Head Gear: None
Shirts: Grey and loose
Pants: Black and skinny
Shoes: (N/A)
Misc: Has a single, silver-band ring on her right middle finger from her sister.
Fighting Information
Fighting Style: Aiki-jujutsu
Years Practiced: 2
Description of style: Aiki-jujutsu is a very fluid fighting style. it is not about applying all your force to beat your opponent, it is about using the force your opponent uses against you, against them. If they push, you pull. If they pull, you push. The striking of vital areas is also a tactic. Say an opponent were to charge Leta while she were standing against a wall. She would quickly get up off the wall a few feet, grab their arm, and pull/ guide them forward into the wall, while getting out of the way. That was evasive. Next she would quickly strike something vital (or at least somewhere painful.) Then she would likely walk away.
History Information
History: Leta grew up in a foster home in Massachusetts and never knew her true family. She had a sister who was one year older named crystal who lived there with her. She knows from the stories that when she was an very little, their house had burned down. She and her sister were left on the doorstep of an orphanage in a baby carriage with a note pinned to the carriage saying "The house burned down, and we can no longer sustain the responsibility or burden of these children." Crystal was crying, while Leta was not. She simply tried to see the world through her white eyes to no avail. The orphanage took pity of these children, and took them in. It was a warm, welcoming environment. As she grew up, Leta came to know the orphanage as home. She came to love the smell of stew in the kitchen every wednesday, and biscuits every thursday. She loved knowing the amount of steps it took to get from her room, down the hall to the staircase (63). She loved holding her sisters hand as they walked outside. She loved talking to everybody. And everybody loved talking to her. They all loved hugs. This was home. This was family.
They had lived there for 15 years together. On Crystal's 16th birthday, something happened. Leta was counting the number of steps to the stairs to see her sister who was standing at the top of them. 55. 56. 57.. She could hear kids playing in the hall behind her and feel the vibrations of them running in the floor. 58. 59. 60... The laughter was getting closer. They were playing jet fighter. She could hear the pretend gunfire. She also heard Crystal. "Leta! Watch out!" Leta felt a shove against her back from one of the pretend jet pilots and she fell forward. She quickly counted 61, 62, and on 63 she felt impact. She felt Crystal's body against hers and she felt it start to move backwards as she pushed. Suddenly, someone grabbed the back of her shirt. She felt the elastic stretch, making it loose. She felt Crystal's body move away from hers. The invisible hand pulled Leta upright on her feet, but she couldn't stand for long. She fell to her knees as she heard the thumps of her sister falling down the stairs. She put her hand to her mouth. She shed her first tear. And then all was quiet for what seemed like forever. The person who had pulled her back was one of the jet fighters. She turned to them and felt his face. He was about 13, had a relatively strong build, and was a few inches shorter than herself. She punched him in the jaw and walked away. The next morning, she didn't get out of bed. Or the next morning. Or the next. For the rest of her two year stay, she would keep to herself. She would seek affection sometimes, but she was never quite the same. Two years later, she would be moved out of the house. On her 17th birthday. The head of the house thought it would be best for her. So, they shipped her to Long Beach to go to a regular school, and get her mind off things. That week, she transferred to Public High School #259. Nobody knows about her past.
