The time had come.
It had been just a few days past a week, but it was time, word would be sent to the five people the same way as before on the black paper with the white lines. WWhere to be, when to be, and to be ready.
The five that they would be facing where sitting there... In the campus grounds not far off from the school building, chillin in the grass, just by the walls to the school ground. They themselves seemed to be... Stalking 259. Waiting for its prey to weaken.

Once again, she got a piece of paper in her locker. Part of her was relived they were at least given warning of the things to follow, but she was also fearful of it all. Would she be strong enough to hold her ground in the battles, or would she merely get in the way of everything? Addie was a bit afraid of everything, but there was a reason for her to be there. Right? Everything has its reasoning behind it, or so she'd like to believe. Taking the paper from the locker, she'd close the door. Walking the hallway quickly, she'd rush outside.
Her eyes caught sight of people in the grass not too far away. There was fear that lingered in her for a moment or two, before stepping forward. Surely the others would soon appear. Being herself, Addie always jumped into things head first; knowing of the consequences all too well. Confidence welled in her, enough to allow her to push on forward to the battle. No matter how strong the opponents, Addie wouldn't give up.
...I can do this...NO I CAN'T!...But I can't give up.
The school was behind her, the voices from the building became background noises. If others were smart they'd avoid the area, Addie could only hope people were smart enough to do so. She was determined... or at least Addie could try to be. Shaking her head, the girl would look once more before getting closer.
She was never really one for the element of surprise.

Gabriel was to be the second to arrive, without a doubt he didn't fear the newcoming event but he rather sought it with certain intrigue. Yes, he'd not allow this school and it's inhabitants to go on undefended, they'd not be alone in the darkness because Gabriel would light the way. Along side him he'd fight with the others and prove himself that he could press on, stronger than ever.
"You're not alone..." Gabriel said as he walked in beside her setting his hand on her shoulder.
It'd been a week and his training had been without a doubt rigorous beyond all means. Eyes watched as those lurking in the grass. They'd not last, not against the likes of him.

The day of reckoning had descended upon them. The moment Alex opened up his locker and saw the paper lying on top of his books, he knew it was time. Not a flicker of fear in his face, Alex picked up the piece of paper, before closing his locker, and headed to the location designated on the paper. He had trained himself relentlessly for this day, training and practicing with Drea. Because that was all he could do for the both of them. Help her get stronger while getting stronger himself. He wasn't going to allow anyone destroy 259, not while he was still around and breathing. Those he cared about deeply, were in this school, and one of them, was going to fight alongside him. No matter what it took, he would protect Drea with everything he had.
Because that was all he could do right now... for Emily. And for himself. His bokken carried over his shoulder, Alex walked out onto the school grounds, before coming to a stop beside Gabriel and the other girl. His eyes hidden behind the dark glasses he had taken to wear recently, those that were chilling in the grass, would be unable to see his eyes, which held an expression of cold fury in them. As if it didn't make his already piercing, fierce as a hawk eyes more intimidating than before. He had no fear, no doubts in his mind. Everything he had worked and done up to this point, he was not going to let it go to waste. He was going to make sure that 259 would not fall... even if it cost him everything.

Slowly walking toward the gathering of the others, Zachariah had a rather reserved demeanor to his being. A somber gaze passing between the others and toward the group that seemed to be circling the school. It wouldn’t be long by him estimations, hopefully the other’s training had paid off. They would need all the strength they could muster. However Zachariah would be relying on another strength, one that he most likely passed the others in by leaps and bounds.
He halted a small distance away from the others, eyes fixated on the other group. Which one would suffice to serve his needs? A tricky goal idea, to get information while amidst combat but one that should be accomplishable if given a one on one situation. Other than that, Zachariah would not lay a harmful hand this day. Words were his weapons, ideals his armor… those were his chosen vestments this day. It was time to act on those beliefs. Would work well this day? Unlikely but at some point, in dire straits, someone would need to take a stand and break this cycle of violence surrounding and devouring 259. Did it have to be him?…
… yes. Perhaps arrogant to say, but most others were willing or able to bear such a burden against impassable odds.
Would his efforts change anything? Rationally, there was no reason to think so…

(Sorry this is late. <_< Family Christmas BS and a downed internet router meant a helluva lot of hassle just to check my bleepin' email, much less get in homework and forum time. X____X)
Drea was nervous when she checked her locker just a week after the original meeting. Time - and bruises - had given her some more strength, but she couldn't attest to her own capabilities in regard to this coming battle... But she'd give it her best shot. Her own awareness of the message sure to be in her locker - she sure as hell didn't know how else contact would be made - brought her nervousness to a crest.
As she opened her locker, though, seeing the note made her relax. Not all things were unexpected, after all, and she'd discovered that there was some form of meaning in the madness she'd been embroiled in.
"I can do this," she whispered to herself as she picked up the black piece of scrap paper, reading off the note. Location. Time.
She breathed in deeply before breathing out. She repeated it twice more before taking Timog from her locker - she'd brought it thinking it might help. The spare was in the bag on her back - a collapsible that might help some, but she doubted she'd use it. She wasn't good enough just yet - she hardly knew how to work with Timog... But if her chances increased even by point-zero-zero-zero-zero-zero-zero-zero-zero-zero-one percent, then she would use it.
Calm and centered, Drea headed out to the specified location, noting that she was several minutes late.
And was also last. "Sorry," she murmured as she closed in. "I only just got away from the teacher..."
It was an excuse, but a very real one. Some of the teachers she helped were very... persistent. She stood close to Kazuya, taking comfort in his familiar presence.

The five looked at the group that slowly gathered not far off. Each wore different colors to seperate themselves from the others. The tallest of them wore red, a red shirt, and red pants. The one closest to him was a japanese guy who wore all black. Not far from him was a white girl who wore yellow, and next to her was a native american who wore pink. Finally another male who wore Blue was chillin on a bench. They all stared at the approaching group as it where.
The one in red would get up and walk towards the group a smile on his face.
"Seems someone let slip todays festivities..."
He would say to the group of five that had gathered. The smile still on his face.
"But... Theres no need for all of us to get all tired from fighting, so lets settle this... Fairly... We will pick one of ours, and they will fight one of yours one on one, until they possibly lose. What do you say?"
That was completely fair... Right? The others all seemed happy, smiling and snickering at the idea.

For the moment she stood alone, there was a bit of fear, although when Gabriel had put a hand on her shoulder; she felt a little better. As if there was a lot lifted off her shoulders, even in knowing all to well that she was weaker than everyone who gathered on both opposing sides. Standing beside Gabriel, she looked at him from the corner of her eye and gave him a smile. Yes one of those confident one; no matter how much she lacked.
Why didn't I just runnnnnnnnnn....D:
After a moment of staring across at the assembled fighters, she noticed one thing.... WHO THE HECK PICKED THE COLOURS!? Who wears just one solid colour, that was so boring. Yes, even in a moment before a battle, she could think horrible thoughts about others clothing. They were just so eye catching and horrible. It was just so... .___. bad... That shade of pink of tanned skin? What were they trying to pull? Yep, fear was gone... momentarily. It wouldn't be long before she'd come to terms with all the horrible stuff to follow..once engaged in battle.

Perhaps that didn't last long.
.__. .....ooohhhhhhhssshiiiiiiiiii------
She couldn't help but feel laughed at, like she was so screwed. Closing her eyes for a moment. Let me...you know...GET OUT ALIVE D< NO DRINKING EVERYTHING THROUGH A STRAW EITHER! D< Her expression was serious, looking out upon the intruders, even though Addie was afraid; it didn't show on her face.
-____- Bitches were going down.... Most of them would.... NO CONFIDENCE! D< I can do this!!! I AM......SOMETHING OR ANOTHER! Full of power and confident that she could try her best to last long in battle, Addie would move forward with the group.
[[FMM!! D< its being lame! so sorry about my post T___T <3 ]]

Soon this group of attackers descended toward this prophesized group of saviors, convenient that each had chosen to adorn themselves in one color. Zachariah’s eyes narrowed at the proposition of the other groups apparent leader. A series of one on one fights with the winner continuing until they no longer could. In many ways a greater asset beyond speed, strength, stamina, or experience became what the fighter was willing to give. How far would they each be willing to go to win this fight? It was an interesting idea and sadly played into the attackers hands but it would provide an opportunity to say the least.
“It sounds like a good idea to me…”
Now the former pillar, perhaps the failed one, stepped forward in front of the others to be the first to approach this group of enemies. Zachariah’s eyes calmly glanced between the members that he would have to face. Which would step against him? Which was the strongest? Would they in fact go in order of strength, allowing the weakest first or would the strongest look to finish them all off quickly? So many uncertainties that should and might phase someone, however it did not. He glanced back at the others with a gentle smile that still showed that he would not be moved from this decision.
“… I shall go first, you all take a rest.”
It would be faulty to say that Zachariah would succeed in his goal to win this single handedly, however it would not stop him from going as far as he possibly could. To take all the pain that might come onto himself, noble and perhaps selfish, but if the others wanted to fight logically… well, they would get their chance in time.

Gabriel cocked a brow, sure he'd heard that they'd be fighting one on one, only one their strongest verses our strongest. Quite the patsy little game they had going Gabriel didn't even know why they were here. Simply to cause trouble it'd seem, however Gabriel didn't plan on allowing that a second he'd step forward only to be beaten to the punch by Saint. An almost sure look in his eyes pressed Gabriel to step down.
"Best of luck." Gabriel said saluting as he'd take a step back and aside allowing for the boy to make his stand.
He was sure to get a stern look from the others in not going first but of course he knew quite well that Saint could handle himself in more ways than one. If not on basic strength based rather on confidence and sure necessities.

Drea was silent as the words were passed between the two groups. Even as she saw the others - defined by their colors, it seemed - she couldn't help but wonder what it was that they wanted. Why were they here? Were their colors indicative of something? Who were they? What was their purpose? And why?
Drea had a great number of questions that she wanted to get out, but she kept silent. The others, she was sure, knew more about such things than she. Gabriel and Saint and Kazuya and Addie were sure to be okay. She certainly couldn't step away from their expectations and do things on her own, right?
Her eyes narrowed as she gazed at the opponents. Not yet, anyways. She didn't want to think that they were here purely for the purpose of destroying their school. Not when she didn't know them. Not when they were strangers and they were simply following the rules of some unknown seer.
For all they knew, they'd been set up and the seer had gone to them as well. She hated that she didn't know what was going on. John had seemed strange, but he'd helped them find Emily, and while they'd been confused, he'd pointed out the way.
He'd been helpful and kind, but she couldn't trust in only that. She had to be able to fight for herself, and she had to be able to know where all others stood in relation to herself. Pausing slightly in her thoughts, she stopped herself.
The others? She already knew where they stood. Anyone that was not herself or her sister fell into three categories. Helpful. Helpless. Harmful. So far, many people had proved themselves to be helpful, and a few had shown to be harmful. Which meant that she really couldn't set herself into a cubby of security just yet.
She sighed, closing her eyes. She didn't know what was happening, but beyond all the thoughts stirring in her mind, she was aware that she had to fight. She cringed at the idea - she wasn't much of a fighter - but when she opened her eyes, decidedly noting that she had no choice, another consciousness woke in her mind.
Sin hovered near and Drea was afraid that she'd fall. She told herself that she could do this, and spoke up, albeit softly and almost inaudibly, as she watched the others getting situated.
"Kazuya," she asked quietly, "Will we all be fighting at the same time? Or will we be watching and taking turns?"
While she was aware he might not know, she was also aware that he might. Who knew?

Kazuya's eyes would quickly shift as he turned his head to look behind him slightly, noting that Drea stood close to him, as he shifted his arm slightly, now slightly out and in front of her. Giving her a comforting nod, his gaze would glance back to the group of five that were in front of them, taking note that each of them wore clothing that was of one color. Interesting... individualizing themselves, and yet, not individualizing themselves. Curious. The one in red stood up, and approached their group, a smile on his face, but Kazuya did not trust that smile. Looks can be deceiving... very deceiving. Kazuya's eyes still hidden behind his dark glasses, he kept silent as the apparent leader of the group that opposed them, offered a proposition, a series of one-on-one fights, until one could no longer fight, would determine the winner of the match. Kazuya's fingers of his right hand, which was holding his sword over his shoulder, twitched slightly at this, but it was such a subtle movement, no one would really take notice of it.
Kazuya calmly noted Saint step forward, offering to fight first. It seemed Gabriel had accepted it, saluting at him before taking a step back. Kazuya heard Drea sigh quietly from somewhere behind him, as he continued to keep his arm in front of her slightly, looking very much like a yakuza bodyguard. "... No," Kazuya replied quietly, as he stepped back, gently moving Drea back and away from the area where the fight was about to commence in, "It's a series of one-on-one fights, as the leader dressed in all red said. The last one standing from the fight, is the winner." Kazuya didn't know what the group's exact purpose was. But he did know, he was going to fight, to protect not only the school, but everyone in it... including Emily and Drea. He was going to protect Drea to the best of his abilities. He had trained her as much as he possibly could. The rest was up to her. Up to all of them. What they did now, would affect what would possibly happen later... and the future.
