"So, as you can see, I can't show off my strongest moves, because you won't let me kill anybody."
Elias is already complaining as he stands in front of the Trainee board, pointing at the volunteer to have his powers tested on. He's still bandaged from his fights with both Leon and Mathew, almost concealing his face completely underneath all the wrappings. Even still, it's pretty easy to see the annoyance in his eyes, and the frown forming on his lips.
"I mean, it's hardly worth my time to even BE here."
However, that would mean wouldn't get promoted out of being a Trainee....
"But I guess I can still show you something."
He turns towards the volunteer, and without warning, punches him straight in the face. Then again. Then once more, each time doing a small amount of damage and making the man bleed just a little bit.
"As you can see, those shots barely did anything. I also have to tell you that those are literally some of the best punches I can throw. However, each of those strikes also took a small amount of his life force."
Elias smirks at the volunteer.
"Don't worry, you won't miss it. You won't even know it's gone."
He glances back at the council, trying to estimate their reactions. He's sure they're not impressed in the slightest, and to be honest, they had no real reason to be, yet. After all, Elias' physical strength wasn't exactly something to be in awe of.
Yet.
"Now, each of those hits, however, gave me something to work with. Using the life force I took from him, I can empower myself..."
Elias closes his eyes, and fuels himself to grow stronger with the power he'd drained away, before suddenly turning and punching the volunteer as hard as he can, cracking the man's jaw. Elias keeps his hand extended for a second, before slowly pulling it back, staring at his own fist, marvelling at the change only a small amount of life force could make in him.
"...and hit a lot harder. But the best part of this is that I could do it over... and over... again."
He gives a low chuckle, glancing back at the council. In his mind, he can imagine doing the same thing to each and every one of them, if only so that he could be the one sitting on the other side of that desk, judging each person who walks in.
Ahhh... if only. Oh well. There's still the matter at hand.
"And each hit fuels me further, draining life force in order to maintain my current level of strength, like this."
Three more times, he smacks the poor volunteer around, each empowered hit draining enough life force to keep his overcharged strength from fading. Finally, by the time he's finished demonstrating, the volunteer looks like a fairly mangled mess.
Elias licks the blood from his hands, then smiles, doing his best to make eye contact with each member of the Trainee council.
"Any questions?"

Job: This job can only be done one time. You must make a 500 word post discovering how to combine two of your Abilities into a single attack and showcase it to the Trainee board.
