The world she was in reacted. And the crystals turned red, beginning to crack and fill with light. She knew this, from when her own experiments cause crystals to explode and embed themselves in her arms. Sure enough they would begin to explode, revealing her parents, and the thugs from their crystal slumber. Breathing great gasps of air and stumbling about. Shaking their heads and looking around.

That's when it became apparent. They had crystals in their skin sticking out. They all looked to Lucky. As they began to approach it would seem as though the crystals were growing. Covering just ever so much more every few seconds.

"Are you... uh... alright?"

Val asks, looking at how these people formed from these crystals.

"I don't think this is healthy. This place is just messing with your mind."

That much was becoming obvious.

[Lucille "Lucky" O'Donnovan]

Yeah, it was obvious but this second turn was much better. Funny how she admitted to herself her own conviction when Val was fighting the Kraken. It was amongst her own priority that she would be willing to lose her limbs over her life. In a way, she always knew this but it went further than she originally predicted. Her physical well being apparently was more important to her than her "life's work". This only came to light in the last few minutes.

She looked unto them as they approached her. "That's much better."

She was a bit stumped on what to do at this point but at least the dumb before-image was done and gone. Lucky for one grabbed her own arm feeling her own crystals hard beneath the fabric of her wraps. What did she need to do to stop ignoring the condition she was in. Her time could become shorter than she wanted it especially with the concentrated energy that seemed to be stagnating here. She Undid her wraps and slid them down to cover nothing except her fingers where they would bunch up there and remain. Up and down, through serrated and scarred skin stuck out these crystals. She would expose them to the thick energized atmosphere. It could potentially awaken her worse nightmare but was that what THEY wanted? For her to Face her own nightmares.

She held them up for the creatures to see and from behind those arms she had a look of resolve and will not give any more fucks.

The creatures stopped and looked at her arms. Their own crystals spreading about their bodies, pushing skin out of the way, until it flopped in large bloody clumps onto the ground. Teeth, hair, clothes. Until there was nothing left except qi crystal statues.

Lucky then vanishes placed back where she was before Dra Aht. Passed

Val is left there, the crystals fade and walking towards him is Lady Angelonia Kaizer, the leader of Zekunft who announces her presence with speech.

"Valerian Blackburn... What do you want from life? To be a Lord? To lead men and women in society? Or, would you rather support someone? Both are noble choices, but only one is right for you. Not everyone can lead, though they have the qualities and potential, sometimes it is better, if they support someone who can lead. Making the leader an even greater Lord or Lady. It begs the question, who or what do you find worthy of the position?"

Valerian is so used to kneeling when he hears her voice, he's already halfway down before he stops himself, remembering what sort of place this is.

Still, he looks at Lady Angelonia with something of a smile.

"You, of course. I will ever follow you, as you know. But closer to home... I don't know. There's yet to be someone else who I trust with my people other than my father."

Angelonia stops and flicks her hair from her ear before speaking again.

"Then when the time comes when your father can not lead your people anymore? Someone you don't know, don't trust, and don't approve of will step forth and take your fathers place. You know we have made deals for land with even Dragons. Would you have a Protan defector lead your people? If you choose a support role then you must choose who to support. That is a lifelong choice, beyond me, you must make a choice."

[Valerian Blackburn]

"When the time comes... if no one else can take it..."

He doesn't like this admittance in the slightest.

"I will do what I can for my people. Lead them if I have to. And if they'll have me."

Angelonia would smile, as he form began to melt.

"Resolve... Thats all it takes to lead, Valerian. No matter the mistakes, no matter the hard ships, or choices. If you have resolve..."

Her form would snap a leg off as she stepped forward falling and placing a hand on his chest.

"People will follow you, forgive you, look up to you, and be proud of you."

Valerian is suddenly in his room at Cabal Academy. Passed.

Bastille's Memory: Mathew can summon forth a glowing translucent mirage of Bastille to fight by his side for one post per thread. Mirage Bastille has access to Mathew's Energy pool for her own attacks. (Upgradable)

Evelyn: +5 exp, +1 Qi Upgrade
Earth Blade's of Vengeance: Evelyn is capable of creating earth Dagger constructs combined with her own raw energy constructs that perfectly mimic the look of the blades her and her sister were given. These blades have an attack power of %125 her energy plus her attack stat. These blades are capable of many things.
1. If they cut someone they leave behind flecks of earth which can be used as a tracking target for any other Qi ability Evelyn uses.
2. If thrown or slashed at a projectile attack, if the attack of the blades is higher than the projectile it will backlash the attack in it's entirety to the user.
3. Can explode at will from a range of 20ft from Evelyn doing %125 Evelyn's energy in damage.

Avice: +5 exp, +1 Qi Upgrade
Extreme Mental Resistance: Any attempts to enter, infiltrate, manipulate, or control Avice's mind causes the attacker %150 Avice's energy in damage and if the attacker is an NPC or QC allows Avice to send suggestive thoughts to the attacker who has to pass a 1d100 roll difficulty of 50.

Valerian: +5 exp, +1 Qi Upgrade
Reluctant Leader: If Val steps up to the plate and leads a marking appears across his forehead like an ornate crown. This causes an Aura of Hope for those around him in a 20ft area. As long as Val considers himself the leader, his allies get 1 free Qi usage every second post. Valerian himself gains +25% his energy for every ally in his aura to a max of +150%.

Drake: +5 exp, +1 Qi Upgrade
Content Lone Wolf: If Drake finds himself alone against everything around him he can accept his loneliness and gain +10 to all his stats for 6 posts.

Arm Crystal's of Power: Lucky's arm crystals have evolved, expanding a bit. Lucky can activate their power to increase her Attack stat by her Energy stat 4 times a thread!
