Emily was minding her own business, drinking her apple juice and savouring it's sweet taste when she she heard something she wasn't exactly expecting. "Hey Emily, wanna dance?"
The girl blinked for a moment, as if registering the thought onto her mind. Well, her mind wasn't racing - but it was going much slower than usual. It couldn't be her sedatives; her Psychologist lived on the apartment above hers and she always made sure to check if Emily was taking the correct dosage. It could be the sugar.
...
And as for Ender, she thought ... well, it could be the alcohol. Was he drunk? Is it the reason why he's asking HER to dance?
"I... don't know how." she said, more or less sounding 10% flustered and 90% indifferent.

"Well, just wing it, ya know? Unless you're having fun just sitting there," he replied with a slick smile. His charm was on full blast, as it tended to be when he drank at any social function. He sort of felt obligated to go around and make sure everyone was having a good time. It was his job after all, kinda. "So, waddaya say?"

(OOC: ... I've been awake for more than 40 hours and counting. Need sleep... -goes to bed now and dies-)
Emily found herself nodding. "Alright." She said, standing up and looking at him as if waiting for him to show her how.
Seriously, this girl had no social life at all. She wouldn't even want to go dance with him if it weren't for the fact that she was friends with him.... and the fact that he was somewhat charming. Meh... she better get drunk... sad that this bartender doesn't serve alcohol to minors.
...
... not like she's been drunk before...
but that's not the point!

OOC: Keith's not gonna pay attention to Winklewood. Unless, Winklewood visits the bar. **Shudders**
"Yo, barkeep. How much for Vault with Vodka?"
"And her drinks are on me."
Keith nodded. It was very romantic and chivalrous to pay for a woman's drinks. Provided they do not have roofies in them.
"Sake!."
One Vault w/Vodka and one Sake.
"Warm please?"
One warm Sake it was. Luckily, Keith had cold sake, warm sake, and hot sake. Hot sake was served hot. Warm sake was served at room temperature. Cold sake was served cold.
Keith would fix up the boy's Vault w/Vodka and serve it with ice. Then he would grab a fresh bottle of sake at room temperature and pop off the cap. Each casual bottle of sake was smaller than a bottle of beer. But it had far more alcohol.
He would place the drinks on the bar counter.
"That'll be five dollars total."

OOC: *Pats*
IC: "Hmm, ya know what? You need to loosen up," Ender announced, poking her in the forehead. "Bar keep! Get this young lady a...hmm...A Day At The Beach, and put it on my tab." He said to Keith, happy with the boy's performance so far.

"Beach? Loosen up?" she queried. Emily knew less of alcohol and it's fancy mix names.
She blinked and then sighed. Well she DID have to loosen up a bit - too much restriction going on in this girl.
It's a party! She should be enjoying herself!
'Hell yeah! MASS MURDER!'
'That's not fun for me. Shut up, Kari.'

"That'll be five dollars total."
"Mmm, Sake sake SAKE!!!!"
And as her drink was set upon the table, that mask flew off. Tipped backwards upon her head, cocked to the side was that little fox mask.
Finally, her face was revealed to Kevin. The man who had bought her this wonderful drink.
Her fingers tightened around the cup. Bringing it up quickly to that hungry mouth, warm liquid falling passed glossed lips.
Eyes shut tightly as she swallowed. Now slamming the cup against the counter top.
Her tongue lining her lower lip, eyes blinking now. Looking up towards the bar tender again as she'd shake the glass at him.
"More!"

Kevin paid eagerly, though he'd have to come back later for a refill---
---He had a pet peeve about ice; Kevin wanted to taste the stuff, & usually had a case of not being able to taste his drinks the colder they got, not to mention the simple fact that ice slowly melts, becomes water, & weakens the drink, no matter what it was. However, he'd make a note to down it quickly, which he did. He didn't realize how thirsty he was until the concoction hit his tongue, the surge of alcohol blended with carbonated citrus fruit instantly making his mouth parched before his drink touched all the dry spots. Hell, he even downed the ice cubes, sucking & crushing them once inside his jaws. He'd then cover the tab, dropping a five on the barcounter. Did he have more money than that? Yeah. But he wouldn't just drop a wad on the counter like he'd be coming back for a refill, when he knew that this may last him the whole night. Yeah, he'd have enjoyed his drink more without ice, but he could manage in hot, packed situations like this. Hell, he did it for the past 3 years in New York, one of the cities that never slept. He could manage on a cruise ship.
"So, do I need to drop another bill & get you another, or are you satisfied for now?"
Kevin said it casually, smiling with a bit of teeth as his cheeks got a tad warm. He wasn't a newbie to alcohol, but he almost had an urge to buy more rounds & get wasted. Kevin could honestly say he'd not overstepped boundaries yet. It was tempting to explore, but he decided against it for now. He'd heard that people are different when drunk; considering how much of himself he knew, he'd not test that theory & let out something regrettable.
And she already wanted more. That was his cue; he'd take out 4 fives, $20, passing it to the barkeep. He hadn't banked on her being so eager about sake. Granted, the Brazilian heard it was good shit, but if it was that great to bring out an expression like that...
"You heard the lady, keep. Another round for her, & I'll take what I had, with no ice."
...He'd try new alcohol when he got home, where he was in a controlled setting. Safer in his eyes.

"Bar keep! Get this young lady a...hmm...A Day At The Beach, and put it on my tab."
Keith nodded. He would mix 1/2 ounce of Amaretto, 1 ounce of Coconut Rum, 1/2 ounce of Grenadine, and 4 ounces of orange juice into a cocktail shaker and serve it onto a highball glass half-filled with ice. He would serve it with a pineapple slice and a strawberry as a garnish.
He would indeed put it on the man's tab. Coolly and casually, Keith would place the drink on top of a coaster.
"Here you go, one Day at the Beach."
He would also give her a Chaser caplet.
"Take this to ward off hangovers."
"More!"
"You heard the lady, keep. Another round for her, & I'll take what I had, with no ice."
Keith nodded as he grabbed another bottle of Sake and opened it for her. He also gave her a bottle of Ramune. Keith would use the plastic device and push down on the marble stopper.
"Here, compliments. This is a bottle of Ramune, the perfect Japanese soda. Not too sweet, not to carbonated, just right."
It should help slow down the rate of intoxication.
Keith then fixed the boy up another Vault and Vodka. This time with no ice. He also gave them Chaser caplets.
"Another Sake. Another Vault and Vodka, this time no ice."
Keith would place the drinks on the table and place the money in the cash register.

Another Sake.
YES!
And she took it, fingers finding it again. quickly downing it like she had the other one. so fast.
She licked her lips now. Letting the glass rest against the counter before taking a deep breath.
"Here, compliments. This is a bottle of Ramune, the perfect Japanese soda. Not too sweet, not to carbonated, just right."
And she smiled. Taking the Ramune quickly into her hands. She hadn't seen one in forever. And she gave a small laugh, tipping the bottle at him for a moment as if she was sending him a small "cheers".
"Raaamuneh!!!"
Bringing it to her lips to take a small sip. Soon letting it rest against the counter again before looking at the man beside her.
Her mask till cocked to the side, her face still visible.
"Thanks for the drinks."

Post by "Unfettered" on Aug 11, 2007 14:37:49 GMT -8
OOC: Sorry... not as good a post as I'd like, but.....No Way... "Easy there; no one said anything about me taking off this dress, though you better watch what you say. Someone might know who you are, as there arne't many who speak German in the school, ja?"...
..WHAT!?...
"Unfettered" did a double take at the girl in the green. M'kay. Brown-skinned. Her corset was loosened up a bit, so.. just possibly... He grinned at the possibility. But what fun would there be, if it really was...---Well, the fact was, any voice could get distorted here, with all this talking going about. But.. if he heard that rather correctly... He grinned to himself, as he straddled his chair, facing the bartend, but also looking around, somewhat curiously, smile ablaze.
With all these festivities... he kinda wanted to get into a fight. But nah. Better conscious had taught him otherwise, in this situation. There was security here to keep things safe. ...Maybe, though, if he found the leader o' the place.. he could arrange for some spar matches to go on? Ideas like.. 'the loser must take off his mask'. Hehehehe.
..But naw. He didn't have that much influence around here, and not everyone would probably appreciate a fight on a ship this.. well, massive. Unnecessary roughhousing? I daresay so. Thoughts that are better off in boxes in the cellar of his subconscious, at any rate.
At any rate.. he waited for a tick, clicking his tongue, as he eyed the green-dressed woman. Well... just for politeness's sake..."Ja meine gute Frau! Sie sind sehr weise! But it is only natural for one to act so much more flamboyant when under the most measly of disguises. Kwahahahahahaha..."Really, honestly, what he said had no meaning, save to himself, save stating the obvious. Curling his lips into a smile, he'd wait around a bit, whirling about to see the other party-goers. Not really able to keep his eyes off the blue-haired boy and the green-corseted girl. Why? Well, he was curious. She watched as a... rather well dressed, but funky-golden-masked girl approached, asking the bartend for juice.
...And.. as.. a... uh... mask-wearing nudist began to dance and cavort with all the people around him, effectively scaring them, so that he in turn was chasing after people.
...
...God damn, why didn't I think of that!?
Smiling a little bit more largely, a large 'Thrush' part of him sort of wanting to partake in that. Besides... the nudist was suddenly set on fire, with the throw of a cocktail. ..And the pain of having your pubic hair singed off didn't sound all together appealing.
---He could've sworn he saw two very, very disturbing eyes staring at him, between a bone-designed mask.. but, nothing could be certain, as he was sort of whirling about his head, smiling like a fool of a madman.
And thats when a very obviously non-asian but nontheless very.. 'appealing' woman approach in a flamboyantly red Chinese dress. A smirk, as he tried to withhold himself from laughing. The women around.. the cute kabuki faced girl with the pink dress, the green corsetted one, the flaming red, and even the wonky-masked-but rather appealing brown body to another end of the bar.. yeah. Tonight was going to be fun. Even if only to check people out, but aye. That was a guy's mentality, no matter how shameless. And nonetheless, the gals were undoubtedly no less innocent.
...The literally flaming masked nudist, of course, being no exception.
For a while, he kept this on. Not really saying much for a good few, but watching as Kabuki girl and escort moved onto the bar, a little to his side. As a red-haired beauty with a black and red feather mask waltzed in (figuratively), looking oh-so nervous. Strange how he was doing EXACTLY the same thing right now, as he was in the beginning of Freshmen year, except this time, he wasn't loathing everyone for their terrible attributes and bad habits, and lack of principality and morales.
Naw.
Tonight, everyone was on stage. Tonight, everyone was the show. And it was the cadre of emotion from those who were hidden that made it ever so deliciously appealing. And, to his luck, everyone was getting close to the bartender's area. Including Kabuki girl.
...Who was.. with the help of her escort, steadily getting wasted. Eh. The cute green-corset brown girl was right, he should stick to English.. but... ya know what?"Oye kabuki girl! Schauen Sie wie viel zu, das Sie trinken! You're making the rest of us look bad, Reizender kleiner Fuchs, obwohl Sie sind!..."Eh. He hadn't had a drink in a while... and, was afraid of 'losing control' for tonight. 'Cause he knew what happened if he lost control. So, he shot a grin at the kabuki girl and her escort, and then went to the bartend."Bartend!" *SLAM!* A couple of dollars put onto table. "..You got 'e bottle o' 'Spezi', ja?"
"Kekekekekekekekekeke.."

As she sat next to Kevin, Ramune in hand she'd gently let her head go form side to side. Her arms gently waving side to side in beat with the music. Of course, she was just playing and having fun.
Now, repositioning herself upon the stool. Letting the tails of her Obi bow fall tot he floor in a graceful manner. Licking her lower lip before taking a quick sip of her Ramune again.
She was dancing in her seat, looking at Kevin.
"Oye kabuki girl! Schauen Sie wie viel zu, das Sie trinken! You're making the rest of us look bad, Reizender kleiner Fuchs, obwohl Sie sind!..."
Her body froze. But she hadn't moved. She didn't even look over her shoulder. Not yet.
There it was again. German. She knew it.
But again, there were plenty of Germans there at 259. And there had to of been plenty of girls wearing Kabuki masks. Right?
"Bartend!"
The slam of a hand upon the counter would make her jump. But she forced herself to look forward, swallowing slightly as her breath caught in her chest.
"..You got 'e bottle o' 'Spezi', ja?"
"Spezi??!?!?"
That's when she whirled around, looking down the counter to see the man who had spoken. Her heart skipping a beat, licking her lower lip. Pulling that Kabuki mask back away from her face to get a better look.
She stared. Those eyes narrowing upon the masked figure.

"Ya know Morning, if you toss glasses off a ship that much. You'll run out of glass."
King had found Valekin. It wasn't that hard considering he was a long haired male, that looked wicked, and didn't belong. He wasn't partying or drinking, the man was rather stoic. And King wasn't about to involve himself in alcohol no less. It wasn't like him to drink.
ALCOHOL IS THE DEVIL'S DRINK!
He thought to himself.
"Eighteen completed her task. She's doing rather well on her own. I've instructed her to get samples of the other drugs when she can. And I told her what the reports said on the drugs."
He had said to the Serb. It might as well been a whisper, with all the music and dancing and talking and teenagers being loud. He wanted to scream 'Shut the fuck up mate!" At the top of his lungs. He couldn't really hear himself at all. This was good though, he knew his acquaintance could read lips, and the message would be delivered. He smiled, and tipped his hat off to Valekin.

Valekin smiled at Jason. He watched the man speak, and got what he said. Chi had done her job, and done it well. He might have to increase her payment for that. She had run into minimal trouble, and carried out her orders to the letter. Though, he had to admit, she'd need some better training to be able to serve him fully. After all, she had been just a student all her life. This would be no different.
"I'll see you around."
Valekin said, walking away from the side of the ship and back towards the crowd. With well measured steps, he had walked all the way to a staircase that lead up to a balcony, he got off at that balcony rather than going further up to a higher level. He doubted that he'd be able to get up there without being noticed. Besides, this was high enough. He could watch everyone, and stay relatively out of sight for some time.
There was Jonathan at the bar, ordering a drink. Calamity, and Mitsuki were nearby the bar. Other people were dancing, or just arriving. Not many that he knew. He hadn't become well acquainted with the population yet. He didn't attend the school, there weren't rumors about him spreading, other than that of terrorism. He was just an obscure part of the school's bloody history, just a whisper on the wind.
He liked that.

Post by Mitsuki Park on Aug 11, 2007 15:09:49 GMT -8
Mitsuki had a rather dry smile on her face as she heard the guys reaction to her little statement. Well, she figured he might've had an idea of who she was, but she wasn't really being all that "flamboyant".. Sure, maybe it would be considered a bit flamboyant compared to how Mitsuki normally was, but he didn't know that the green-corset girl was her. He might've guessed, but there was no real proof. There would be a scar on her left shoulder-blade, quite visible, but seeing as Thrush never saw her in anything but a sweater over a shirt, well. He wouldn't be able to tell. But his words made her think that this - for sure - was Thrush, as the last time she saw him, he wasn't exactly...what's the word? Out-there? Whatever the word is.. And his laughs. Oh how familiar they were...
Anyway, she ignored him and kept her eyes on the blue haired guy, eyes fixated on his, an eyebrow arched. Well, figures; it was probably a smart thing to carry a weapon everywhere you go, as this school - 259 - was beginning to turn a bit violent than usual, especially with all those pieces of crap running around (enforcers). If she weren't so apathetic, maybe she would find it rather cute on how he was talking of his weapon, but she didn't, as she rarely thought anything was "cute".
Seriously.
So his attempt to make eye contact had succeeded; Mitsuki was good with ignoring things, especially the nude who ran in with only a mask on. Of course, she only heard the screaming, and didn't even bother to look, as much as her curious nature wanted to. As for the blue haired gentleman's question...
Waiting for someone?
Oh that was funny. Smile cracked on her face as she shook her head. She wouldn't be surprised to see Dion here, but even if he was here, would he know who she was, and would she know who he was? And Thrush. Well, it looks like she found him, but as much as she was sure it was him, there was always that small possibility that it wasn't. She knew Keith, who was the bartender, but she disregarded him as she didn't want her identity getting leaked out. Maybe Teacher would come, but she doubted it, as he really didn't seem like the party type, unless it involved fighting. Who else did she know? Hm... Well, that's..about it.
"Are you?"
Eyes held a tint of curiosity before looking over at the bartender, noticing he said something about Ramune to the girl in pink.
"I'll take a Ramune, thanks."
...what? She was half Japanese, so she knew what the drink was. And besides... The blue haired guy next to her - which, she suddenly realized, that she was extremely curious about - paid for her drinks.
Not that bad of a night..
