"Yep. I have a portable game system over there." She paused in her typing enough to point towards the kitchen. "It should be charged and have a game in it."
Gidget then made a shooing motion with her hand and returned to work.

Drake shrugged and left the small one to her business. Checking out the game system she referred to. It was a strange device. He was somewhat used to computers cause they had an equivalent back home... but this... was a device unlike any he had seen before.
"Hmmm..."
He would say turning it on. Then the screen fill with colors and designs!
"What the hell is this..."
He mumbled to himself.

The game loaded up. It was a brightly colored racing game full of iconic cartoon characters. A big START button blinked at him from the home screen.
"Just hit start. I've got all the shit unlocked. Have fun."
At least that should keep him busy.

Drake would play it with wonder on his eyes. This... was amazing! He would spend hours playing it, probably till the device died if Gidget didn't intervine.

Gidget glanced at him occasionally as he raced through the different tracks. It was an easy game, and she was glad he was so enthralled by it. It meant that she had other things that she could focus on. Letting out a breath, she finished her work, and set everything up. Hours passed, with the two just silently sitting in each other's company.
She had finished her first project, and idly started on her second, when the device would start to flash, warning of low battery. If Drake kept playing, it would eventually die.

Drake saw the new light but didn't know what it meant... so he would ignore it and continue to play!

Gidget glanced over her shoulder once more and shrugged, not noticing that the battery light was on from how far away she was. She seemed significantly less intense, working on her idle project. She would pull up one of her messaging apps and was chatting back and forth, in code, with someone.
The game system would die in the middle of a race.

What followed would be a slew of extremely loud extremely expletive words! He would immediately run over to Gidget and spin her chair around to face him if she wasn't already!
"WHAT THE FUCK JUST HAPPENED?!"

Gidget tilted her head to one side at the screams, but it wasn't until he spun her around that she bothered paying any attention to what was going on.
"Hey, mad man, the hell you think is.... Oh. Your game died." She snickered. "Sucks, bro... Here, come with me."
She would wiggle her way out from under him and lead the way to her tiny bedroom. Inside it was a mattress on the floor, a single blanket that looked as old as Gidget, and more pillows than any one person could ever need. Off to one side was a box full of carefully organized wires... and plenty of games, all strewn about on the floor.
She fished out a grey charger cable and tossed it at Drake.
"Theres a bunch of games, too, if you want to play something else."

Drake eyed the cord suspiciously not understanding what she was talking about when she mentioned more games.
"What? There's... more?"

There were games of all kinds: racing, fighting, adventure, RPGs, everything. Gidget took the game system while he looked and plugged it into the wall to charge.
