He would nod and polish off his cocoa.
"Sadly, even if you did you would have just been exactly who they wanted you to be. If you want to show them now, you can do it by showing them that you are even stronger than they ever could have imagined. Furthermore you can show them it was no thanks to either of them. That they failed and you succeeded anyway."
He would speak and then give a fiery smile. "Then the only problem is that you don't get to kick their asses after that."

Dj would turn back, his gaze as hard and glamourous as diamonds. This was clearly how he denoted being serious.
"Dangerous how?"
After giving Drake time to respond, he would speak again. "If I were to flirt with you, It would be much deeper than calling you pretty. I'd also only ever do it if I felt like you were interested." He'd say with a nervous chuckle, a bit embarrassed that he came across that way. He knew it was common from him, but he felt bad that it came up when he was trying to help.

He would say with dark smile. At DJ's explanation Drake would wave his hand.
"No sweat, I was a whore remember? Genuine human connection is something I believe in anymore. Or at least it's really rare."

Dj would smile softly again and say "Dangerous people don't scare me. Mostly inspire. One day I hope to be dangerous enough to protect people." His dark smile only warranting a head tilt and a curious shimmer in his eyes.
At the next statement he'd chuckle. "Fair enough. I still believe in it because I have seen it happen to others, I just believe It isn't going to happen to me." He'd say plainly.

Drake would raise an eyebrow and look at DJ with a smirk.
"Not too hard on the eyes either."
He would say downing the last of his cocoa.
"Till next time."
He would say with a wink as he sauntered off.

"I'm flattered." He would say with a relaxed but flamboyant shoulder gesture.
However, his infinite chill faded for a moment. He would give a nervous chuckle and a blush. Not because he believed he was really flirting, but because he couldn't see a benefit for doing it.
As Drake left he would say. "I come to the spot you found me every third day. Do with that what you will." Averting his gaze at the wink.
