Let's get Personal (Spike)

[Sage Sudeki]

"As soon as your sirens were audible. He made his last threats and left. Probably two or so minutes before you walked in."

Spike rubbed the side of his head. Though he had regained some Qi uses he wasn't sure if pushing himself at this point would be wise to track him with the Seikatsugan.

"Give me a few hours, and I can track his Aura's pathway. I scared a bunch of his goons into running away as well, no doubt running to their base of operations for safety."

[Raikotsu Sudeki]

Rai would nod and stand up.

"Well, I'm not sure about aura's and tracking people... but I do wonder. If he left in that much of a hurry, maybe he left some kind of paperwork behind? Have you checked his office?"

[Sage Sudeki]

Spike would shake his head.

"My body hadn't healed to a point I could move easy till after you guys showed up."

But, since he mentioned it Spike would get up and limp over and grab his other sword, sheath both and then limp to the office.

[Raikotsu Sudeki]

Rai would follow.

"Is this the office you found him in?"

Spike would see paper work on the desk, and a filing cabinet on the opposite wall.

[Sage Sudeki]

Spike would head over to the cabinet and start going through it.

"Yeah, while I was dealing with his people they kept looking at this office for their savior. He was chillin in here the whole time."

[Raikotsu Sudeki]

Rai would rummage through the papers on the desk.

Spike would find nothing of importance on the first two drawers, the third however seemed stuck!

Spike would go to a knee and check the seal of the cabinet to see if it was broken or tampered with.

"Might be booby trapped."

[Raikotsu Sudeki]

Rai would hold up a key.

"Or maybe just locked? Try this."

He would say tossing the key to Spike. As Spike searched for the lock he would indeed find the trip wire. It would be simple to defuse. Making the drawer open easily! Inside he would find documents and deeds to this restaurant and another like it. As well as a few random warehouses that didn't seem to have any reason to be here...

[Sage Sudeki]

"Well infiltrating Barker facilities really made me prepared for petty traps apparently."

Spike would take out the documents and put them on the desk to look over.

"Hmm... I'll keep the deeds to the restaurants. Otherwise these warehouses might be a worthwhile search."

[Raikotsu Sudeki]

"Right, I'll send some men there immediately."

He would make a call over a radio there was a confirmation.

"Alright my men are on them. We should hear from them shortly."

[Sage Sudeki]

Spike would give Rai a sideways glance, but let the guy have his day.

"You know the guys ability was to cover his body in a metallic like substance likely made out of his actual body. So shooting him might just piss him off. There was a rather powerful person from my world who lead one of the major factions that could do something incredibly similar."

[Raikotsu Sudeki]

"I understand. But my men are well trained, and well equipped, to handle any situation."

Rai would assure Spike.

[Sage Sudeki]

Still side eyeing Rai, but still looking over the documents for other possible things, placing a small four foot tall Qi Sprite of a white dog with red markings on the table.

"That's suspiciously pointed at every other direction than the one you know I meant."

[Raikotsu Sudeki]

Spike would find that some of the warehouse papers were marked on the bottom left corner with a strange stamp, it looked like half of a DNA strand. Rai shrugged.

"All you need to know is that, even with your doubt, I'm confident my men can handle it."

[Sage Sudeki]

Spike would let that sit for now as he pulled the marked documents out to cross reference them for any similarities beyond the mark. Then he'd hand push one over on the desk and point it out.

"Mean anything to you?"

Just to cover his bases. Half a genome could mean anything in this context, but he didn't like the thoughts. His specialties were war and diplomacy. Not science, that was Barkers thing.
