Cain manages to get through a floor, and another, and another… and another… and another… and another. He should have hit the roof, but instead, he found himself going through YET ANOTHER floor. And another. It would feel infinite, almost, and he definitely did not have the strength to go through that many floors. It was like a loop, going on and on and on… until, at last, he seemed to have worn the person behind it all out, and he ended up in yet another hallway of the building. There were no other people around, and only a staircase leading up… and a staircase leading down.
Dime found herself easily able to move through the hallways and reach the stairs. Right beside them was Adelaide, beating furiously against a window that did not give way. Instead, it just jiggled and wiggled, like jelly.
Soni managed to break the door open! Inside was most definitely a fire burning, bright and hot. It seemed mostly contained to the room, however, despite the massive amounts of smoke it was producing. The heat from the fire was oppressive to say the least, immediately beginning to press against Soni’s skin. If she did not move away from the fire, it was sure to burn her!
DJ was able to envision the outside completely, but instead of it teleporting him to any location, it created a field of illusion all around him. He would be able to recognize the edges of his own illusion, but it did nothing to change the rest of the lobby around it. While he could not see the smoke any longer, in his little bubble, he would still be able to feel it. He would see, for the briefest of moments, a face: a young boy stared at him, his jaw set. He was sweating slightly, his brows furrowed in deep concentration and his eyes closed. It was a momentary image, before it faded away and out of his illusion.
The smoke succeeded in knocking Avice out! She fell into a deep, dreamless sleep, lying on the floor of her apartment. Whatever would become of the powerful warrior?
On the rooftop, Kaia, Drake, Gidget, WR, and Julius squared off against the twins. The boy remained on the ground, sweat dripping from his brow, while the girl stood over him. She was grinning from ear to ear, a maniacal look on her face as she glanced between each of the people. “So glad you could all join the party,” she hissed at them, before her gaze finally settled on Kaia. “We’re here to warn all of you… even the ones who haven’t been invited yet. You must all be very powerful if you’ve somehow managed to get all the way up here… You’re wasting your potential, wandering around this world. There is so much more power, waiting for you.” She turned her gaze then to Drake, who would feel agony blossoming from the elbow of his arm, radiating outwards. It was crippling pain with no apparent source: no wound, and the girl hadn’t moved at all. It would feel like somebody had just dislocated his elbow altogether, numbness sweeping through his fingertips. “And rejecting us does no good.”

Dime with her aged cloak still around herself she would call out to the girl immediately upon seeing her. “Adelaide! Stop!” Taking off her hood for a moment to show the Sudeki daughter her real face before putting it back on. She had to pause to caught from the thickening smoke. “... Follow me, and take a good look at what’s really around you, just take the moment as we go.”
She hoped Adelaide would follow as she urged her.

Instead, he collapses on the floor, panting.
"Stupid fucking tricks.... I hate tricks... just fight like a normal fucking person..."
Veins throbbing in his head, Cain crawls towards the stairs leading up. They said up, he'll go up, alright.

Soni rolled away quickly.
Well, that went well. she thought to herself as she laid on her back coughing.
She needed to find some way to get the smoke out. With one last muster, she would locate an area of the ceiling void of people above it, and blast it open as a vent to release some of the smoke. If this didn't work, she was sure to pass out.

Sonic Blast: A directed blast of dense sound, typically beginning from a single point then growing outward quickly to create a funnel shape, though doesn't grow anymore than the size of your typical torso. 100% Eng in DMG.
Soni can now see an individual person's vibration signature at almost any distance giving her +10 Per.

Drake would feel his arm flood with pain and he stopped glaring at his arm. Then back at the kids.
"Do you call this pain?! I'LL SHOW YOU PAIN!"
He growled as he held out his left arm. Black fire licking at and off his arms in random swaths here and there. His eyes started to shine. He would then call out to girl who spoke to the twins.
"You don't want what they have to offer. They claim universal power for all, but in reality they enslave your soul and feed off the power YOU bring to them. You become nothing but a lapdog unable to even speak your own name."

Adelaide would be too far gone in her berserker rage to be stopped now! As she swung her bat again her hatred towards this wall and window growing!
Berserker Bat: +5 Attack, -2 Defense; A simple enough looking bat, with tiny, vein-like black lines running through it. As soon as she swings the bat the first time, she begins to lose control of herself and is overtaken by a bloodthirsty rage that dramatically increases her attack but lowers not only her defense, but her willingness to defend herself. The more she wields the bat, the stronger this effect is on her mind, until she loses herself to a Berserker like mode. The only thing that can free her from this is a strong, intrinsic trigger, or she drops the bat. (+50% Atk -25% Def per hit for 4 posts up to +200% Atk -100% Def)
Crows Necklace: +12 Def, +10 Atk
"Compared to those poor caged birds, being a crow isn't so bad.". The Pride of being their own person who can't be controlled and doesn't fit in to normal society The Crows Necklace can allow Adelaide to put emotion into her hits adding 150% her energy stat to her Atk stat twice per thread. A Crow is tenacious and the will power to go against the norm to be your own person can drive Adelaid on, allowing her to get back up and keep fighting if defeated up to 2 times per thread.

In his field, Dj would look around and begin realizing that he may have been on to something, even if his teleport didn't step him outside.
When the brief image of the boy in intense concentration appeared, he would not hesitate, his crocodile form disappearing and the tattoo on his back glowing intensely, he would raise his hand and try and take the teleport into the image. Trying to flood all the energy he made to that single point.
Regardless of where he would end up, he would collapse on his knees and start breathing heavily. Shaking from exertion and on the verge of passing out.

Gidget caught sight of the twins, and everything in her shuddered. She recognized them... She stepped back, a bit further away from the others, and whined softly.
"Uh... This isn't good..." she whispered, looking around at the people who had managed to gather on the rooftop. She had a feeling they could take them, but that wasn't something she was willing to depend on.

Dime was able to continue moving through the hallways, with or without Adelaide. The people had begun to thin even more, going from five different people down to only three. Those three still ran wildly around the hallway, aimless and soundless. She would be able to keep most of the smoke out of her lungs with her hood, but the oppressive heat and the pain of smoke inhalation were progressively getting worse!
Cain managed to join Kaia, Drake, WR, Gidget, and Julius on the roof!
Soni managed to create the blast, but as soon as she fired it… Nothing happened. There was no change in the area around her. She was doing her best, but it seemed as if whatever was causing this was beginning to run out of energy to make it work properly. The smoke continued to fill the room she was in, as well as the lobby, and seemed to almost make a conscious effort of knocking her out.
Adelaide would feel the smoke beginning to surround her as well. It was invading her lungs, even in berserker mode, and making it difficult to breathe. The smoke was thickening, filling the hallways until it was almost impossible to see, and seemed to carry a painful heat with it.
DJ’s illusion attempt was surprisingly successful. He managed to somehow get himself to appear… right behind the twins, on the roof.
The girl had opened her mouth to say something to them both when somebody suddenly appeared beside her, right behind her brother. Her eyes flew open in surprise and she turned, throwing both hands out in an attempt to shove DJ away from her and her brother. She let out an almost primal screaming sound, and as soon as she moved, DJ would feel pain blossom through his chest, whether or not her hands connected. It would feel almost as if he were shot, like a bullet of pure agony cleanly when through his sternum and into the space just between his lungs, where it would blossom outwards. The pain was nearly crippling.
“We AREN’T the BAD GUYS here!” She shouted, moving between DJ and her twin brother. Her eyes, one blue and one red, were alight with rage. “We are like wolves among the sheep, and lying here with them will only make you soft. Weak. We are here to show you strength… The kind of strength you can achieve. The kind of strength you DESERVE!” She turned back to Kaia, trying to keep between the newcomer and her brother.

She looks between the girl and Drake, tilting her head.
"You know 'em then?"
It felt weird to be the least aggressive person here, but, the threat didn't feel all that great at the moment. She'd rather know what the hell was going on, especially if the twins were metas.
"What exactly was the point of pissing everyone off with whatever the fuck that all was?" Kaia asks incredulously. "Is this some metas rise up shit? Maybe don't come off as an enemy?"

Cain crawls up the stairs, then grabs at the door, pulling a good chunk of it clear off its hinges as he stands up. He didn't hear the spiel beforehand, but he's catching the very last of that conversation. And that fucking little girl's voice. "HERE! I GOT A GAME FOR YOU! ISN'T THIS FUN?!" He swings the door chunk, sending an energy wave straight for the girl! -----------------------------------------

"THIS ENDS NOW!" Drake would Roar charging forward as his eyes flashed and his left arm would be covered in black fire as a Death scythe appeared in it. His last gift from his father. Something he had inherited from his fathers arm. Turns out the old man still had hidden tricks. He would infuse the scythe with pure soul energy. He saw the guy attack the girl so his target would be the boy! He would pull back his scythe and slice through the boy!
Soul Sight: While activated Drake can see a persons soul and can determine their life force and Morality (+10 Per, +10 Eng) Mutated: The first post of activating the Seikatsugan Drake's Seikatsugan boosts double to +20 Per, +20 Eng
Soul Essence: Drake can imbue an attack with the essence of souls, doing so makes his attacks deal direct soul damage. (+115% Eng to Atk) (Soul Damage can't be healed using physical healing items, and can't be self healed)
Reaper’s Scythe (Super): Drake is able to hear the rage and the pain of the souls trapped in Hell, and draw from their primal emotions to create a Reaper’s Scythe.
