“Look... that depends maybe I’ll investigate, maybe I’ll kill it, or maybe I’ll just grow bored and toss it aside. Kind of the point of doing as I damn well please.” She didn’t know what answer WR was prodding for but Avice couldn’t do be sure she cared enough to give them a straight forward answer. Not out of refrained effort but just that Avice as also having trouble finding a true answer to that question specifically.

WR shrugged. They didn't really believe in doing things idly, but to each their own.
"Guess that's fair 'nuff. Kinda liberating being the streets' cleanup crew, honestly. Wish these assholes could actually put up a fight."
They chuckled, reaching a hand to scratch the back of their head.

“No they won’t... their world is too small, no room to grow and no incentive to get more than what little they’ve achieved.” Avice replied.
“You have frustrations to vent or maybe horizons to broaden?” She would ask WR glancing just slightly. Assuming they’d know what Avice was really asking.

WR just nodded in agreement. It was a sad truth. Then again, if they were actually competent, the world would be WAY more fucked up than it already is.
At her question, they glanced over, tilting their head slightly.
"Both. I got a mission, a cause, and plenty of anger in between," They huffed, contemplating whether they were actually gonna tell her about it. She should have recognized the Dragonling jacket they were wearing. Then again, it was sort of easy to miss, since it complemented their other wears well.
They shrugged again, plucking the sleeve so she could see the emblem.
"Leon Sudeki was my Master." Assuming she understood what they were referring to.

“Aye, the Lightning Dragon, I’ve traded words a time or two with the loony bastard. The former Blood Dragon however... gave me a sense of peace.” Avice had never meet a “dragonling” however she wondered if WR would forgive her for overlooking her status. “That mad man asked you to kill him like the rest of his brood did he not? That be your mission?”

WR's ears perked at her question, and they shook their head.
"No, he died before I could take the final test. If he wanted me to kill him, though, I wouldn't have. Incapacitate maybe, but that's a pointless death."
They shrugged.
"He was... fucked up, but he meant a lot to me. Saved my life."
The sighed as memories of him swarmed their head, but they brushed them off in thought of Rai, who they didn't realize she mentioned until now.
"Rai on the other hand... yeah. He was a character for sure."

“To my understanding he wanted to die in battle. Killing him was a mercy... you’d been selfish to deny him that or a coward without the guts to do it especially if he saved your life.” Avice let slip some harsh words, a habit she was growing.

WR shrugged again. That wasn't anything they didn't know already.
"Well, he got his wish. Kinda." They too slipped out some harsh words, shaking their head slightly.

“As far as we know.” Avice shrugged. “There be bigger fish than even the dragons and I’m certain someone survived other than us.”
Her mind loomed on whoever caused the ark and the destruction of their whole existence. She needed to find that kind of power. It certainly wasn’t anywhere near here.
Unknowingly to Avice there was also her own eyes, in a different life she had Leon’s and in turn had her own pickled with his collection of other Qi eyes. In truth she had once upon a time spoke with Leon on a regular basis across dimensions. She couldn’t tell WR this, she couldn’t have remembered, also another byproduct of more powerful forces than she could imagine at work.

WR fell silent for a moment, staring at the horizon over the hill as they walked.
After a few moments, they tilted their head a bit toward Avice.
"This world's not gonna stay peaceful for long. Already has its own problems, not to mention whatever followed us here. And, honestly, since this world is literally two worlds collided, it's possible there are others pouring into this one. Or, will be. Kinda like a hub for weirdness."
They shrugged.
"That's why I want to continue to Dragons' legacy."

Avice looked at her strangely. “What do you mean by worlds colliding?”

WR looked back at her with a brow raised.
"We're here 'cause our world leaked into this one."

“We were moved into this one I don’t think that qualifies as our worlds colliding or that others are going to join it as well.” That would be a reasonable thing to fear however. “As far as we can tell our world no longer exists.”

WR shrugged.
"I think it does. We don't belong here, we shouldn't even be able to be here, but we are. So, there's no telling what kind of shit is gonna happen in the future because of it."

“Well then I suppose if these normie go on and figure that out then we’d be the least of their worries won’t we.” She chuckled. “Though if you are right we aught to see if either: we are strong enough to survive it or stop it you think?”
