Jam Session (WR)

[Adelaide]

Adelaide would be at home chilling with her small mother when she got the urge to play some music. She went into the little den area that she had set up for jamming out when it occurred to her that WR had mentioned wanting to do a Jam Session. She had listened to the music they gave her and she actually digged it. So she shot WR a text with her address inviting them over.

About ten minutes after they received the text, WR knocked on the door to the given address with a guitar strapped over their shoulder. They were dressed in their usual red and black, this time with an added black beanie, which covered up all the red streaks in their hair. Their clothes seemed a lot baggier than usual, but otherwise they were the same old WR.

[Adelaide]

WR walked up to a nice house that was rather large, 2 and half stories, and was withing the walking distance from the TSI bunker. These were the accommodations for the TSI agents and their families. After a few moments Adelaide would answer the door wearing a loose t-shirt and a pair of skinny jeans.

"Yo, ready to make some noise?"

She said rather uncharacteristically excited.

[WR Harthe]

"Sure am," WR smiled slightly, following Adelaide inside when she allowed them entrance. They chose to keep all the TSI stuff out of mind.

[Adelaide]

She lead them downstairs into a basement where she would them into a smallish den turn music room, filled with a couple guitars and basses, a keyboard, and even a drum set. There were a couple of Amps around as well, and a tricked out Karaoke machine. There was also a small couch and a couple of bean bag chairs for comfort. It even had a mini-fridge!

"Alright, uh, feel free to plug in anywhere."

[WR Harthe]

WR stopped to look around the room, giving a satisfied nod. They were a bit jealous of the setup, since they never had anything more than a standard garage workroom, but this was like... garage mixed with studio. It was pretty awesome.

They laid their guitar out on the ground and carefully lifted it from its case.

"Haven't touched this thing in awhile, so, might be rusty."

They said as they tuned a few of the strings.

[Adelaide]

Adelaide shrugged.

"I haven't played with anyone in a while either, I play for Shiloh sometimes, but other than that I don't really play with anyone anymore."

[WR Harthe]

WR nodded.

"I do street performances sometimes, gotta be in a particular mood for it, though, 'cause it also requires me to sing, and lemme tell ya: fuck that."

They chuckled a bit while they continued mindlessly plucking at the strings.

[Adelaide]

Adelaide nodded.

"I feel that. I leaving sing to Shiloh."

[WR Harthe]

"I'd love to have a singing voice, honestly. I can scream but... not much else."

They shrugged, kneeling down to plug up one of the amps.

[Adelaide]

Adelaide shrugged.

"I can't even do that much."

She pulled out her favorite electric Guitar, a sweet black B.C. Rich Warlock. Plugging in to an amp she would check the tuning of her own guitar.

[WR Harthe]

WR nodded, remaining somewhat quiet until they finished tuning their guitar. It wasn't perfect, but... it would do. They adjusted the output of the amp before standing back up, guitar in hand.

"Right, so, what are ya feelin'?"

[Adelaide]

After a few more moments Adelaide would be all tuned up and plugged in as well.

"Alright. Well, you're the guest in my humble space. By all means set the pace."

[WR Harthe]

WR shrugged. They couldn't argue with that.

They clicked their tongue while they contemplated a rhythm, and began to pluck at the strings. They were going for an early grunge sound, melodic yet rough, though it took a few attempts for them to get going.

[Adelaide]

Picking up on the rhythm she would bob her head. Leaning down she would tweak the distortion a little adding the slightest hint of an echo. She start in slowly at first not playing any chords just plucking and tapping strings for now, doing some build up.
