Cain's not ready at all, despite what he said. His face gets slammed to the side from the punch, basically smacking his head into the tree, before he turns to swing at hers in response! -----------

WOW, he hits back using Qi. ALRIGHT.
Kaia manages to protect her face by raising her arm, but, the hit still throws her to the side. She pushes her hair out of her face, looking up at him angrily.
"Wow! Way to play dirty!" she accuses. Even...even though she kinda started it.

"Hoof!" Cain gets shoved back, though the foot seems to sink in farther than it should before Kaia pulls it back. "I THOUGHT WE WERE FIGHTING FAIR!" He moves to head to Kaia's side, then kick at her ribs to keep her down! ------------

Using the powers of the Ash Lords Headdress causes 1 flame charge to build in the headdress. The maximum flame charges the headdress can store is 20. Cain can cause toxic clouds of Ash to appear in a 20ft radius around him, causing his energy stat in poison damage for four posts. Can can turn parts of his body into ash to allow attacks to pass through him for one post doing 1/2 dmg. Cain can spend 5 flame charges to cause any cloud of ash/smoke/dust/debris to explode doing 150% Cain's energy stat in damage. - half damage

"What the hell?!" She can't even focus on the original argument because she's never seen him...do that before. Like he was made of sand for like two seconds. Sadly her surprise means she doesn't have much time to get out of the way so she smashes a shield potion to help take the brunt of the hit, but he still goes through it. He kicks her back down, causing her to cough, but she looks up at him with a smirk. "That was it? That trick was pathetic and so was that hit! Wanna try again?!" ----

Zero Ability: "Chemist" - By mixing two components she is capable of creating wholly unique items depending on the situation. Starting with Water and Earth. This ability can create healing potions, potions that raise defense, create Qi shields to absorb damage, and other versatile things. (Water = Healing, Earth = Defense)
Defense Potion: Def +1/2 Kaia's energy for one post, or +18 Def for 4 posts

The Pants of Flyting Fancy are for the insult professional. Kaia's ability to turn rabid at the drop of a hat and tear down a persons confidence with her own immeasurable self confidence has finally grown to be able to seep into combat effectiveness. Three times per thread Kaia can insult a persons abilities and lower a target stat by 1/4th Kaia's Perception stat to a minimum of 1. To defend against this the target must have a higher perception stat than Kaia to perceive the insult as nothing more than a jeer.

Kaia gets up, not about to spit in the face of that opportunity. "Trust me, you're not strong enough to ignore this one!" she'd promise, pleased to see what she'd done was shaking him up. He wasn't the only one with new tricks. She closes the distance by dashing forward, sending a punch for his chest. ----

Cain scowls, but finds himself a little too slow to stop her blow striking him in the chest! Once again, it seems to sink in deeper than it should before pushing out back to normal. Cain goes to grab her wrist with one hand, pulling her in to try and punch her in the stomach in return! It feels like it's taking twice the effort to swing with the same force. ----------------
