She carries on towards the mountain. She's gotta try and make it up there before everything starts.

As she got closer the mountain everything start happening again chains appearing people screaming, but at least there wasn't a chasm, yet. At the foot of the mountain there would be two familiar faces. Or backs rather. As she saw the Cousins from before.

This mountain entrance is smaller than expected.
She'd go around or over if possible otherwise she just tries to squeeze by.

Cindy shoved Kaia backwards easily sending her flying back.
"Yeah, I don't think so. You're not a god. Nor are you blessed by one, you have no place nor right to go up there."
She would say turning around and folding her arms. Don even looked like he was ready for a fight as his body started to emit a static discharge.
"Yeah, who the hell are you anyways!"

The duo would look at each other and both would get ready to fight.
"So you are a part of this!"
Don roared as the static around him intensified! Cindy would pull the giant sword off her back with one arm and hold it at Kaia.
"End this attack now."

Kaia's grabbing at her hair, practically ripping it from her skull at this absurdity.
"YOU'RE SO FUCKING DENSE, JUST FUCKING KILL ME NOW. LET ME START OVER I CAN'T HANDLE THIS. THIS IS THE WORST TIMELINE. YOU'RE ALL FUCKING DOOMED. NO WONDER YOU'RE ALL FUCKING DOOMED."
Kaia just starts screaming into the air. She might be a little frustrated even though this is just like...the second try.

The two would look between each other.
"Fine."
With that, in the blink of an eye Kaia would cleaved in two!
After a few moments Kaia would wake up to her mom walking into her room.
"Oh for goodne- Kaia! Get up and get ready! We're going to be late for the ceremony!"
She would say with a huff as she left the room.

Kaia jumps out of bed way faster this time, already just running out. Right out the front door.
It's fine, it's fine. Maybe...fighting isn't the right answer. If they like running away, maybe that'll appeal to them more. As long as more of them get away, it will still have made a difference.
Barring any run-ins with her dad, Kaia looks for a horse to make the way there shorter.

He would be waiting by the stables.
"So, not only were you lying about one last time, but now you're going to steal a horse?"
He would look her up and down.
"And still in your pajamas."
