It wouldn't be unbelievable to think some metas were wanting to 'rise up'. It was worth a guess.

"We're trying to get together a group of people strong enough, and smart enough, to figure out where to go from here... whether that be ruling this world, or figuring out how to get back. The biggest goal is to not let anyone, including the TSI, shove us around."
The man tensed ever so slightly, an obvious rage floating around just beneath the cool, collected demeanor. "We've been trapped here, with no way to get back, and we've been shoved into this city like sheep and left here to rot. They expect us to just be... fine with it all, to accept our position here as Guinea Pigs for them to play with."

Okay so the 'bad guy' was saying a lot of stuff she personally felt. Good. That's good.
"Apparently it's beating up this chick's dad." Kaia would shrug.
"If you don't wanna be caged here, the way around the TSI is beating up their boss. Can't tell you if that's one hundred percent true, but hey."

This was the first Cain heard about that, and he looks at Kaia questioningly.

The leader spared yet another glance towards the twins, both of whom looked down. He gave a shake of his head.
"One of the people in the apartment complex has started quite a bit of trouble for us. He managed to get under Dragon's skin, and she went, as I said, overboard." He glanced up at the female twin again, and she sighed softly. "It worked, though, di't it?" she murmured. Her voice was most definitely the same as it had been in the building, though a bit more childlike. They definitely couldn't have been older than fifteen. "An' nobody actually got hurt."

They hadn't really made any remarks on the tidbit she'd given them so for now she didn't have much to add.

"The TSI are a formidable opponent," the leader said, turning his attention back to Kaia once Cain seemed satisfied. He took a deep breath and gave a shake of his head. "Everything we've thrown at them, they've managed to deflect. Their normal operatives are easy enough for most of our people, but once you start getting further up the chain... They have weapons to use against us, to 'keep us in line.' And they're effective." He even added little air quotes, before giving a disgusted shake of his head.
"They rule us, and we - the Droogs - are not satisfied with this."

"Then just challenge the big guy one-on-one. You collected strong people. That shouldn't be a hard fight for one of you." Kaia would say, sounding confused. She looks at Cain as if asking 'am I wrong?'.

"No, but he has weapons that quite literally cut through Qi." He gave a nod towards the twins, who both looked a bit uncomfortable with that.
"His agents can actually jus' destroy our illusions. Like they're nothin'. Single cut," the girl made a slashing motion with her hand, "An' their gone."
