Keith sat in a booth of this new place in Los Angeles that specialized in all sorts of chocolate goodies. The interior had a nice feeling to things reminiscent to Meso American culture. Chocolate happened to be a product of the Spanish as they made the sweet tasting stuff from cacao beans. From there, chocolate was transported throughout Europe.
Chocolate made a sweet tasting treat and dessert. It was a perfect ingredient of the sort. Most importantly, chocolate can extend your life when eaten in moderation. This stuff is very much loaded with antioxidants. Antioxidants happened to be good for your body. While waiting for his sweet treats, Keith leaned back in his seat looking out through the window observing the busy life of the City of Angels.
The 17-year old graduate was dressed in a pair of blue loose fit denim pants, black casual street shoes, an un-tucked black buttoned up dress shirt with the sleeves rolled up half-way, a black tank-top tucked underneath, his Panther medallion over his neck, black shades over his eyes, and the two gloves over his hands that utilized the powers of "Heaven" and "Hell."
Calmly adjusting his shades, Keith looked around at all the various sweet chocolate treats at this place. Right now, Keith was enjoying a nice cup of warm chocolate cocoa. It was mixed with milk chocolate, white chocolate, with a hint of caramel. Keith was a sucker for milk chocolates filled with caramel.
He ordered a white-chocolate caramel cheesecake. Before the cheesecake would come, Keith would enjoy his cocoa.

October air is delicious...
These are the words that meander lazily through the currents of thought in Alice's head as she breathes deeply of the heady, intoxicating autumn air. Leaves fall from trees, crops are mown down and their roots die in the earth, flowers retreat into their bulbs or drop their seeds and wilt away knowing nothing but a hope that one day one of their life-toil's products may sprout come spring. All this life bleeding out of the living, filling the air...it's not a sad thing, but a natural process, and it lends the breeze a distinct, mature tincture that goes down like a fine wine.
Of course, here in Long Beach that flavor is not as strong as elsewhere; temperatures remain mild and deciduous trees give way to tropical and subtropical fauna as one leaves more northern areas for the balmy shores of California. Still, it is there and noticeable, and the soul takes its fill of sustenance before the draught of winter.
Alice is out walking today, browsingf the shops downtown. She wears a short denim skirt and sandals. Up top, she has an orange tanktop in honor of the season, and also a white button-up shirt over that, with two buttons just above her navel buttoned. Browsing is all she is can do in stores at this time; she doesn't receive an allowance and hasn't yet found a job.
This time it's a chocolate shop! Candy is another thing often associated with this particular season, as halloween draws nearer. Alice pushes the door open and walks in, nostrils assailed by the smell of cascading chocolate. Alice looks over the selection of fudge, kept under a glass counter.

It looked as if Keith's cup of cocoa was starting to cool down. That wouldn't have been good unless he was having it with scoops of ice cream. Keith was finishing this cup while waiting for his white chocolate cheesecake. The Asian college freshman decided to "warm" up his cocoa a bit. Keith looked down at his gloves debating which one he would use.
There was the glove of Heaven's Judgment worn over Keith's left hand that is supposed to utilize the powers of Heaven. He then thought about it a bit. His left glove started to glow bright blue as it was charging up or something.
There was also the glove of Hell's Punishment worn over Keith's right hand that is supposed to deliver the wrath of Hell. He looked at the right glove as it started to glow bright red as it too was charging up.
Focusing on his left glove, Heaven's Judgment started to emit small bolts of electricity. Then turning towards Hell's Punishment, small flames start to emit from the glove.
This was indeed a tough choice.
Heaven or Hell, which will it be?

(OOC: Sorry, a little short)
Alice's attention is drawn from a particularly succulent-looking display of mint-chocolate fudge, sold at $Money-you-can't-afford-to-spend-on-candy-at-the-moment per pound. It is drawn by a strange sight! One of the patrons nearby has glowing hands! She can't help but stare. Maybe this was some kind of "Ooh, shiny!" reaction, Alice can't tell. The guy looks normal enough otherwise, but she can't see his eyes. They're hidden behind sunglasses! The glow of red and blue from his hands is reflected in them. Eyes are Alice's favorite part of human anatomy; she wonders what sort this man has.
"Your hands are glowing! Is that bad?" She asks, a note of seriousness in her voice.

"Your hands are glowing! Is that bad?"
Ah shit...
Keith's gloves had stopped glowing. He had turned his directions towards a hot looking blonde haired chick that was observing him. She had on sandals, a denim skirt, and an orange tanktop. The girl was was definitely dressed for this city.
But, Keith would enlighten her. The 6' Asian would speak with his English accent.
"Not at all," Keith laughed. He observed his gloves for a bit. It seemed that the girl might've been surprised as Keith's gloves glowing in different colors.
He took a sip of his cocoa.
"I'm just trying to get used to these gloves," he added.
