Wrestlers without Rings [Gunslinger, Daniel Makaila]

Many men stumble upon a fighting sport or a method of fighting via inspiration or somebody to look up to, many people find themselves ending up getting chased by an entire plethora of trainers when they show a little inkling of skill.
But today, This was not one of those scenarios's as a single man stood outside in the rain, holding a small collection of wrestling and boxing flyers while slumped against a wall, waiting for the rain to stop as his back was to the door of a small cafe that he wasn't allowed to enter on his own anymore by one of his friends their decision...

"Come on, Aroma, Please pick up... I just wish to sit inside, I am not trying to buy any confectionaries this time...!" He shouted at his phone, before nearly throwing the old flip phone against the ground as he would turn himself away from the door again, stuck outside still, before slowly sliding down onto his bum and sitting against the brick wall. "Seriously, Why is nobody excited for a simple boxing match or a wrestling match, everybody is afraid of these weird people with their powers... I miss the days of cheering people up again..."

"...here."

Daniel flips him a coin as he goes to walk by.

This is clearly some homeless guy just sitting in the rain.

Feeling the coin plink against his mask, Atlas would look at the person in shock before feeling his entire body heat up as he was feeling slightly insulted that he could mistake the wrestler as a hobo...!
Before he then looked at his own drenched clothing from sitting in the rain before awkwardly laughing to himself, picking the coin off the ground as he took out a partially dry handkerchief and cleaned it for a moment.

"Here, Your coin back, Did you misunderstand and see me as a person of the streets?" He would ask, before starting to follow the person before then whistling at him for a moment... "Are you... are you legit able to rock bed hair?" he would ask for a moment looking him up and down before giving a quiet 'woah' as he was surprised that such people kept showing up.

"I have to keep brushing my hair, otherwise it just spikes all over the place and it looks like a mess."

Daniel pauses at the sound of the man getting up, then turns his head.

"Spiked hair is a style. I style my hair, too."

He frowns, then starts grumbling to himself.

"Man, I try to help out a homeless guy, and he starts shit talking me. I hate this city."

[Atlas Steele]

"Hey, I am not trying to shit talk you." He comments, before then hearing that he was feeling in a sour mood, before trying to do his best to keep up, as he would make sure to not walk into anybody in the rain, making sure to follow the person.

"Why do you hate the city so, what's going on? If you need somebody to vent to, you can complain all you want to me or even punch me in the gut a few times, you've paid for my services anyway." He spoke, before trying to place the coin back into the new person his palm before introducing himself.

"I am Atlas, Atlas Steele, Farmer and Wrestler from outside the city itself, moved in here to start a farm and... now I am got stood up by my friend, Aroma..." as he would tenderly sigh, looking defeated and pained upon the comment by himself about being stood up by his own friend.

"I truly do like your hairstyle too..." He would quietly mutter.

Daniel takes the coin, looking at it for a second, then back at the giant man.

"Well... Atlas. Apparently I've gotten a refund."

He pockets the coin.

"So I don't need to hit or vent you. But if you want... I'll help you look for your friend, if you need it."

Since he felt... well, bad for the guy, kind of.

[Atlas Steele]

"Oh please do! I would love it if you could help me find her...!" He asked, bowing before him, before sounding genuinely surprised and happy that he was willing to do this, that he was willing to put his time to this use...

"You see, My friend told me that she wanted to buy some knitting supplies, for her guinea pigs to get little sweaters and end up all warm and stuff, but after firing a laser out of stinkbugs his little bum, the police came after her and she mailed me that she would visit here on the seventh of today." Pondering it quietly, before then counting on his fingers.

"Seriously, why is it so hard to get around here, Half of the time, people try to rob me and the other half people try to use these weird special abilities that blow people up." he scoffed for a moment before realizing.

"Do you happen to know how people can blow others up? Is there something in the water here on why people can use super powers or something akin to that?"

[Gunslinger]

Daniel just... blinks.

"...uh huh."

Whatever that means.

"It's probably Qi. This world's starting to get it after those dog things attacked."

Or at least, that's the last he saw.

[Atlas Steele]

"Dog things?" Atlas would ask with surprise on his own face as he would think to himself for a moment before not even comprehending what a dog thing even could be...!
He heard old horror stories, but he could never comprehend what the horror beasts would look like as he would try to truly figure out what that could look like.

Yet, After a little bit of time where figurative smoke came out of his ears, he would ask the man that he was following for extra information as he was beyond surprised, to say the least.

"Qi? Dog things? Do you happen to have a picture on you or something to help me understand what happened? I have never heard or seen anything about these dog-like creatures."

"I didn't take any pictures. I shot them."

Daniel shrugs, sounding pretty nonplussed about it.

"They started coming out of portals and attacking people, who weren't ready for that kind of action. One of the reasons I think this world is pretty unprepared."

That was putting it nicely.

Coughing for a moment at the fact, that he talked about shooting, Atlas would start sweating awkwardly before then scratching the back of his head, hoping to remain calm to not seem too out of it upon realizing what was spoken.

"H.. Huh... You shot them right? I am not in danger right?" He asked, with a worried tone before then bowing towards the person, begging. "If you do, can you at least help the kids I've had at home?!" Before he realized that the person had also commented on the world itself before a question rose up in his own mind.

"Wait, Portals?" He asked, before then scratching the back of his head a bit harder. "Wait, Then what can we do to stop those beasts and prepare for it? Tame them, arm the population, train a few heroes?" He would ask, still not raising his body upwards.

[Gunslinger]

"Are you... what....?"

Daniel's getting a headache already.

"I'm not going to shoot you, if that's what you mean. But to me, the best thing I'd say is to get the population to learn how to fight. Or, if you can't fight, hide behind those that can. Build defenses, things like that."

He kind of nudges Atlas with his foot.

"Get up. That's weird."

[Atlas Steele]

As he was nudged, Atlas would straighten up before thanking him with a wide smile as he would take a look at his own hands, before nodding a few times more.

"Yeah, But if we wish to build defences, make some form of training for the new people that try to defend themselves and others, where would we even begin?" He would ask with a tone of curiosity.

"With our current social climate, we can't just make the resources of our planet ours to stop an otherwordly group of beasts without more proof." As he would think to himself... "Got ideas about this?"

[Gunslinger]

"More proof?"

Daniel snorts.

"I think the proof is all the dead civilians that they had to cart away after they invaded."

Stopping in his tracks, Atlas would realize what his point was as his eyes darted around for a moment as he would tremble for a second before gulping audibly.
Taking a moment to breathe as he would try to come to his senses, he wouldn't even know how to handle the situation that presented to himself before then quietly mumbling to himself before commenting.

"That's... I am amazed at your mental strength, If I saw somebody die before myself, I would be too afraid to move even a little." He admitted honestly, before then looking at his own hands.

"Having to cart the bodies out, or even seeing that happen, I am so sorry that this happened in here, I should have researched more before asking such stupid questions." As he slowly scratched his right arm, before something was visibly bubbling in the heart of Atlas.
