She hadn't seen THAT before. Her eyes widen in interest, and she admittedly smirks as he dives her, bones starting to grow from her skin as she drops down! Nova lets him take in that small victory before she goes to grab his arm and turn into it, hitting the inside of his elbow with her free arm so she can flip them over.

Bones exit her body and cover her like a set of Armor, she feels a boost of speed and power from these bones giving her +18 Speed and +18 Defense. When Nova focuses she can make the bone armor eject shards of bone into the ground around her and the very next person she Mark's with Qi will be attacked by the bone shards dealing Nova's attack + 20 in damage.

Then he refocuses, lifting his legs to try and flip her over his head!

Nova goes flying since she doesn't have much time to solidify herself once she got on top. She catches herself in a roll, spinning around quickly on her knee so he doesn't have the drop on her. He should still be in the process of getting up, or at least just gotten to his feet, so, she sends the ribbon on her arms flying for his arms then yanks him towards her!

Daniel's starting to get up indeed when the ribbons grab him, and he sails towards her with wide eyes!
Then, he growls.
Daniel lifts his legs, putting up no resistance so that he can towards her faster than she might be expecting, before aiming to wrap his legs around her waist!

As he comes at her a lot faster than expected, Nova only had a split second to react.
So she just believed in her tankiness and pushed herself towards him head-first to headbutt him wherever it may land.
