Saturday. It was about late morning, as Olesya judged from the amount of lights streaming through the window of her room. Well her room section. The third floor of the converted firehouse had been an entirely open space save for a bathroom. The bathroom was nicely sized, sitting over toward where the stairs led to the lower floor of their house. The entire floor belonged to her and her three siblings. When they were younger it had served as a nursery, beds against the walls and a giant play area. Now that they were older, strategically placed bookshelves, armoires, and entertainments centers make for the separations. Many of her friends commented about her lack of privacy in a room like this, but Olesya didn't mind. Melody was off to college for most of the year, Darien only came home on weekends, and Gabri wasn't that much younger than her, they got along well enough. Speaking of which, a dark haired boy was snoring off in an area to her left, somewhere behind Catcher in the Rye and The Complete Works of Shakespeare. Darien was still sleeping. Not surprising, he probably wouldn't wake until lunch at least. College kids, I tell ya. Stretching her arms over her head, she rolled out of bed, tangerine and magenta comforter falling to the floor. After pulling on a pair of tan cargos and a black teeshirt with a Modest Mouse logo on it, she would pad over in striped sock feet to the fireman's pole that sat to the other end of the room near the stairs. She slid down to the second floor, sliding off deftly to the floor from years of practice. The second floor housed the living area, kitchen, and their parent's bedroom and bathroom. Again, everything was pretty open except for her parent's part of the house. The livingroom and kitchen were all open, you could even see the tv screen from the sink (which helped when you had to wash the dishes). Reaching the fridge, she opened it and took out a vitamin water, lemonade flavor, and tucking it under her arm, went back and slid the rest of the way down to the bottom floor. Voices carried about the mostly open space, a few of the small wrought iron and glass tables were filled with people. A decent turn out today, the front door chiming as people moved in an out, either to the florist counter to the right of the front door, or directly forward and a bit to the left to the cafe's counter and tables for something deliciously caffeinated. The florist counter was empty, but had a sign to go to the cafe counter for assistance, where a girl with long amber hair stood arranging an assortment of cinnamon buns. "Morning sleepy head." Gabri chimed, closing the plexi glass door to the cute clear case on the counter, then moving to wash her hands. "Morning. Busy?" The disheveled haired girl twisted off the top to the bottle in her hands and took a long drink. Gabri worked Saturday mornings, and Olesya usually closed up, sometimes Darien would join them...if he woke up, that is. "Not really." She shrugged. Even though she wasn't really working, if business picked up, or if someone arrived to the florists counter, Olesya would help out. All the kids did, because even though this was their mother's business, its was a team effort. The Mrs. Van de Bogart was probably tending to the rooftop greenhouse, she usually made a 'feature of the day' arrangement to set on the counter, it was usually sold before 3pm. Her flowers were the nicest in town, or so it's been rumoured. Olesya climbed onto one of the round stools at the counter, leaning on the counter and chatting with her sister, drinking her vitamin water, and slowly waking up for the day.

Because Mitsuki and Reita had 'skipped' the family gathering, the family decided to gather over at the condominium where she and Reita lived for a late dinner tomorrow night. All four of her parents would arrive later that day, and to be honest, Mitsuki was looking forward to it. She hadn't seen them in the longest time, and so to make the aura at home more cheerful, she would buy her mother and her mom's favorite flower: The Apple Blossom. The meaning behind it meant 'good fortune' or 'promise'; it was also an odd coincidence how they both favored the same flower.
Mitsuki first aimed to go to the shop where Saint had taken her, though she found herself unable to find the florist shop. She would find it sooner or later, because she was curious how the florists was able to make a blue rose; it was a beautiful color, afterall. But instead, she was directed toward Ecclipse Florist & Cafe, hoping that they would have at least two dozen bouquets of Apple Blossoms.
With a push of the door, she stepped through, the heat of the shop enveloping her quite nicely. It was a chilly day outside. Eyes scanned over the florist counter, finding it empty except for the sign. Quietly, she made her way over to the cafe counter, finding a familiar face; Olesya.
"Fancy meeting you here."
Mitsuki spoke, before continuing.
"I need Apple Blossoms.."

Ding, ding.. Whenever the front door chimes, Olesya would always look up at the incoming customer..hate to keep them waiting or anything. However, when her hazel eyes glanced up at the ornate glass door, they widened slightly in surprise as the school captain strolled though. The last time they'd met a chair ended up flying across the cafeteria. All in good fun though. Looking to her sister with a communicating look, she got up from her stool, vitamin water in hand and walked over to meet the captain at the florists counter.
'Fancy meeting you here..'
"Fancy indeed, seeing's that I live here." She replied casually, cool smirk in place. She took a sip from the bottle and set it on the counter in front of her, twisting the top. She doubted that the girl knew that, but...now she knew. I mean, how many kids in this town live in a cafe? Well, over a cafe. Regardless..
She nodded at the girl's request, her mother grew practically everything in their rooftop greenhouse. "Sure thing. I have to go up to get them, want to come make your choice? Or are you ordering for a later date?" Normally they didn't take customers up to the greenhouse with them unless they had a specific order (or theyre picky) or it was a friend of something. But Les was taking a liking to this captain, and would let her pick what she wanted...or just stand down here twiddling her thumbs while she got them.

((OOC: Sorry about the late reply! ><))
Her eye brow arched when Olesya told her that she lived here. Interesting? Very interesting, though Mitsuki wouldn't exactly enjoy living in a cafe, to be truthful. She wasn't sure if she got unlimited access to the food and drinks, but Mitsuki preferred a quiet place, much like her own home, twenty-four seven. That, and Reita had horrible allergies to flowers and sneezed one too many times if there was too much pollon. It was disgusting, since tissues would be everywhere, much to the point where you can't even see the floor and you end up stepping on them.
Stepping on snot, mind you, is not fun.
"Yeah, that'd be great. I'm in need of them today."
She replied with a slight nod, eyes blinking once before she looked around the cafe with a quick glance. She would follow Olesya to the greenhouse once she started moving.

[ooc: Sokay! ]--- "Alright then, come with me." Leaving her drink on the counter, she walked toward the back of the store, past the cafe counter to the area generally off limits to customers. They arrived at a staircase, an open arched doorway to their left led to the cafe's kitchen. Olesya slipped on her pink converse hightops, the shoelaces untied, before climbing the stairs. "It's a bit of a climb, but not too bad." She warned casually as they began to climb. A door emerged at each landing...the second floor the living area, the third floor, more living area (and the kids bedrooms), the fourth floor was all storage for now, finally reaching a metal door that led to the outside. The roof. Pushing open the door, the first thing to notice was the sunlight compared to the dimness of the indoors. It was almost like walking into a tropical forest or something. Plants were everywhere..flowers, ferns, vines, miniature trees, everything you could imagine. The good thing about being in California was that you could grow the plants outside nearly all year. There was a large glass domed structure covering a good 2/3rds of the roof though. Continuing on her way, she led the captain to the greenhouse, opening the door and walking in. It was a bit stuffy, not stuffy, humid. It was humid with all the greenery and moisture. Because apple blossoms grew on trees, many florists couldn't keep them in stock. However, Meridian Van deBogart was a woman of brilliancy. She carried young trees, newly planted, they were about a year old, two at the most. To harvest the blossoms, you would simply snip off the young branches, still pliable and full of blossoms. Once the trees got to big, she would donate them to an arboretum or wildlife preserve in the zone that they grew in. Nice, huh? They approached the first of two apple blossom trees they had in stock. "This what you're looking for?" She asked, reaching up and gently pulling down the branch for her to see better, though not breaking off the blossom.

"I've been through worse."
Climbing a scorching hot metal chain with your bare hands? This climb was a walk in the park. She still had a few burn marks on her palm, but that was hell. If she let go of the chain, then she would have been the end of what Humty Dumty was. Splat.
She kept her eyes on the latter, though with her peripheral vision, recognized that there were three floors above ground level, excluding the rooftop. Once emerged from the door, Mitsuki gave out a low whistle. It was very nice; tropical like, humid, but nice. She saw plants she didn't even know existed, and so while she followed Olesya using her secondary vision, she began to take in her current environment and surroundings. Beautiful plants.
She looked over at Olesya and nodded. It wasn't enough for two dozen bouquets, but after a second thought Mitsuki realized that there probably wouldn't even be enough room in the apartment to hold two dozen bouquets. Not to mention they - her and Reita - only had two vases.
"Yeah. Nice place, by the way."

"Thanks." Olesya smiled, eyes sparkling in the sun. "We moved here when I was two, when my sister was born. There wasn't enough room in our old house for the six of us. I really love it here, its comfortably unconventional. And this garden is fantastic." A slight laugh in her voice as she turned to the flowers.
It was easy to be impressed by this garden, her mom really did know her horticulture. Olesya and her siblings often played up here on warm days, and even in the greenhouse on cool ones, running through the rows of flowers and plants, little hands batting at the blossoms. Even now, a hammock was situated in one of the corners as a little natural getaway, it was Olesya's favorite place to go.
"How many would you like?" She reached for a pair of garden clippers from a container on the brick wall (there were a bunch throughout the place for convenience sake) and began snipping carefully.

"Two dozen, please."
Well it was only fair to get at least two bouquets, one for her mom, the other for her mother. If she didn't get a bouquet for both, her brother would have a sh*tfit, and he was not a fun guy to be around when he was pissed. He loved all four parents as much as she did, if not more. Despite her good memory, Reita always had a better one; therefore he remembered a lot of things Mitsuki never knew even happened. It was like a competition for both siblings; not anymore though - not after she found out that Reita isn't really the Reita she had thought he was. In actuality, Reita - the one living with her now - was two years older. Reita, her twin brother, had passed away.
And yet she felt nothing. Except anger, of course. Wouldn't you get pissed if everyone kept a secret from you too? She was his twin; she deserved to know.
...yeah.
"How many siblings do you have?"
It was nice talking to a female for a change.

1, 2, 3, 4..
Olesya snipped the youthful sprigs, gathering them in her left hand as the right continued to snip away. 'How many siblings do you have?' The junior turned to look at the captain, a mild smile crossing her face as she asked about herself.
"Three. I have an older sister and brother in college, Melody and Darien, and my younger sister Gabrielle is down in the cafe right now, I don't know if you saw her or not."
..5, 6, 7..
"I guess my family is kind of large, at least compared to the standard, which is why we moved here when Gabri was born. I really love it here, there's so much space, so no one feels crowded even though there's six of us under one roof." Many people talked about how they fought with their siblings or didn't get along, though the quarrels between the four of them were minor, usually about borrowing things or who ate the last of the cereal. Nothing really worth getting your undies in a bunch over.
..8, 9, 10, 11, 12..
"Do you have siblings?" Olesya asked, slipping the handle of the snippers through a belt loop of her cargos as she grabbed a piece of canvas and set it on the counter like shelf thing that ran around the outside of the green hours area. She set the cut blossoms down gently on it before grabbing the snippers to resume cutting. Once they were all set she could pick up the canvas by the two sides and carry them down gently before arranging them like she would like.
She moved to the second tree, so as not to completely deplete the first of its beautiful blossoms.
..13, 14..

She thought her family was large...
Mitsuki had two moms and two dads. The hell?
But, even so, her two sets of parents both lived in different houses, so she could see how six people under one roof - at least, not as big as this - could get cumbersome.
"Had three."
Mitsuki replied, eyes wandering around the greenhouse, not really thinking too much about her family. They were a weird bunch, after all.
"What grade are you in?"
It was a random question, but might as well.

Had three. A pretty short answer as far as speaking of family goes, and Olesya quirked her eyesbrow slightly, but fought to keep the comments to herself. Sometimes family was a touchy subject, and Les hated accidentally touching upon these sorts of things. It was something that was hard to tell in most people until you've said too much and they go into their little touchy-subject-turtley-shell. But, had[i/]? She would save this question for another time.
..15..16...17..
"I'm a junior. Home schooled when I was younger, and then tried a girls' prep school for junior high and a bit of high school. I didn't like it too much, what with the uniforms and all..so my parents let us, as in Gabri and I, switch to PHS 259."
So..it was a little more of an explanation than the captain had probably wanted to hear, after all she'd just asked a simple question and Olesya's basically outlined her whole school history. Oops. It was a bit of a habit, this overtalking. It wasn't that she was a blabbermouth or an airhead, but rather, she was just openly social. Most things she didn't mind sharing about my life to anyone who cared to ask about them. She had her own safeguarded secrets, but didn't everyone? She would balance her long sentence with a simple reply.
"You?"

"Sophomore."
Reaching her Junior year; actually very close, because she nearly has all her credits to skip the remainder of her Sophomore year and go on ahead.
Been School Captain since her freshman year, only because the previous school captain had given her the title. She didn't know why he in particular chose her of all people - a female at that - and an incoming freshman. Granted, some people weren't happy, especially the seniors. The remaining pillars all graduated a month or two into her freshman year, so while they were there they took the time to protect her and help her get the hang of things. Soon as they took off, Mitsuki was on her own, and in search for pillars.
Max. Disappeared, title was taken away.
Aureus. No longer attends PHS #259, therefor his title of Varsity Captain is void.
Means she only has one pillar left, but it doesn't help much when he disappears and reappears frequently.
And him. An uprising problem that - rumour has it - causes more trouble in the halls than usual.
She'll be taking care of him soon.
"Just a question, but what's your opinion on the enforcers?"

"You mean those brutes who walk around like they own the place when in reality have the brain capacity of a large ape?"
Olesya wrinkled her nose. For the most part she tried to steer clear of them after what she'd witnessed at the assembly a while back...she heard a kid had actually DIED in that fight. It made her want to shudder.
"I'm not too fond of them, frankly."
And that was putting it nicely.
..21...22...23...
"I thought it was the pillars' job to hold the hierarchy, bringing in outsiders to do the job is only asking for trouble. Especially with their fancy little canisters attached to their belts, bad news if I've ever seen it."
...24...
Olesya gathered the blossoms in the canvas, gripping the two sides and picking it up gently so they wouldn't bruise. She gestured with a nod for them to return downstairs where she would fix them up however she would like.
Olesya chewed her lip for a moment, mulling over a question in her mind as they descended the stairs. Finally, as they reached the last set of stairs, she decided to voice it.
"What happened to the rest of the pillars? I mean, everyone's noticed that the student hierarchy isn't at full strength, no offense, Captain. But in my opinion the students are getting restless...would you like a vase or bouquet wrapped?"
She asked once they were back on the ground floor, setting the canvas on the counter and waiting to see how she would like them prepared, though the topic was still running through her mind.

Mitsuki slowly nodded her head.
It was the pillars' job to hold the hierarchy - and still is, in a way - but Coughdrop and that Alterfreak thought otherwise. It was like they enjoyed having total control over the student body mass, and Mitsuki wouldn't have minded if they did things in a more proper and orderly fashion.
"One is being home schooled, so his title of Varsity Captain is now void. Haven't replaced him yet. Another was released due to inconsistency, and the other..."
Mitsuki thought for a moment.
"I don't know where he is. Not much of a fighter."
More of a pacifist in her opinion.
So, typically, Mitsuki was on her own. Wouldn't be for long, though.
"Bouquet, please. Two separate ones, if you can."
Students were getting restless? Yes, she knew. She was just holding out though. A little more time is all she really needed to get things into motion.
Just a little more time.
Boom.

Homeschooled...yeah she'd heard rumours about the Varsity Captain. A bit of a shame in a way, though she could never tell if all that she heard was true, because Olesya was sure the girl he dated didn't dump him because he sprouted a third eye. Seriously.
The other two seemed a bit of a mystery, the one released for inconsistency and the pacifist. Or...could that be the boy she'd met at the hospital? Zachariah, the student body president.
"Do you mean Zachariah Rose? I saw him at the hospital not too long ago, sporting some nasty injuries. Some kid fought him and he lost."
Generally that would mean he would lose his title, but the nature of the kid who beat him up that badly was a mystery to her, so she didn't know the details, only what he had told her. She split the apple blossoms in half, sticking a mini vial of water and plant food mix on the bottom of the stem of each of them.
She then pulled out some of the clear wrapping from beneath the counter and wrapped up the first bouquet. She wrapped a ribbon around the base and tied it tight. The entire wrapping process took little time, her hands flowing through the steps that she had done a hundred time. Her mother was a professional at it though, you could hardly see her hands as she spun the bouquets, it was like art to watch her work.
