[Mr. Kaar]

A sky dark with such fury it was as if the very soul of the earth where trying to communicate its anger. Thunderous roars lit up the sky with such a rumble it shook the very planet and the core of every person within ear shot. Two figures in the dark drenched in rain water and sweat. Fighting a battle that seemed would never end, but all of a sudden they both froze. A light built from one of them, becoming so bright one would have to shield their eyes in hopes of being able to see ever again. A flash, a boom, a crack, an explosion of such force it could not have been of the heaven, or earth. The light disappeared and all that was left was one man standing. But in the excitement what he had not noticed was a very special item had been taken from him.

“You’ll lose against him.”

The voice of the fallen man said, as the other man stood over him. His hair a short spiky blonde, almost gold. His eyes such an intense dark blue one could lose themselves upon eye contact. A black coat, which seemed to have some sort of design, but it, was too dark and muddy to see it for the time being. Standing at about six foot tall he rubbed a cut on his face with his hand.

“You have no idea.”

With that he turned around and went to grab those valuable items, only to notice them missing. He turned around quickly, searching intently with strong eyes. He stormed back over to the guy on the ground quickly snatching him up by the front of his shirt. Bringing him to eye level.

OOC: Hope you don't mind me posting.

She cleared her throat. An obvious attention grabber to make her presence known; she had been silent up until just now, umbrella held over her head, standing above the items to keep them dry. She had moved them a bit, so it was obvious that the blonde haired boy would not find them at the same location as where he had previously placed it.

Her curiousity had dragged her here to this specific location. A bright flash light the sky, but it was obvious that it did not come from the particles up in the sky. Someone had done something, and to make lightning in the rain was such a dangerous feat, Mitsuki simply had to go and see who was behind all this. Or what. Water conducts electricity. Not fun if you're soaking wet and you get zapped; actually quite painful if you're still conscious. Or she would assume, anyway; she's never gotten zapped before, nor did she ever plan on it.

So out of curiousity, she would have spoken.

"How'd you do that?"

Or, quite simply.

What did you do?

Before Leon could reach back to pummel the guys face in for him not being able to find his items, a voice got his attention and he would have to turn and look. Wouldn’t you know it, his gloves sitting right there at her feet. He’d drop the guy to the ground to let him finish sleeping the day away after that rather good shock he got. And he would walk over, trying not to make out those 4 pound a piece gloves to be important to him by much. Of course the possibility of that happening where probably shot for a loop since he looked for them so hard.

After his eyes adjusted enough he noticed who it was. The school captain of 259. Unfettered had said she was pretty damn strong. But a fight right now would not be on his side. So he would have to muse and do what he regularly does around 259. Answer questions. These 259 students where a very curious bunch.

“I conduct electricity.”

Simple enough answer for a simple-yet-not-so-simple question. Of course he left out the fact he can conduct it to the point of the equivalent to a bolt of lightning.

Her eyes flashed a brilliant silver color momentarily, her arms moving off to the side, closing the umbrella as the rain droplets soon drenched the girl with water. Her hand brushed away her bangs off to the side, giving herself a clear view of Leon, whom she had met momentarily a long time ago. He was the one who had stopped a fight from happening between herself and a man with a strange brim hat and long black hair. She was not entirely sure where that man was now, but there were often times when she found herself thinking of him and others at night, wondering just how on Earth they managed to disappear like that.

She thought of tracking them down, but what if they didn't want to be?

"Do it again."

Mitsuki watched him closely, putting the umbrella off to the side.

"Please."

Leon had no idea why she would want him to perform such a thing again, that seemed kinda odd. But he didn’t mind. He would push his arm out to the side, the rain hitting it harshly as he concentrated, his whole body beginning to glow as static could be heard building up. Soon electricity would shoot around his arm and between his fingers before he would pull the arm back raising the elbow into the air and striking the ground, as the electricity would disperse harmlessly straight down leaving a nice sized hole. Leaving both the School Captain and Leon unharmed by the puddle he probably hit. Mud would probably be an issue though maybe getting Leon alittle dirty.

“Mm, sorry about the mud.”

Leon made a small judgment call from his years of combat, from the glimmer in her eye and her question putting 2 plus 2 would give him this answer.

“You probably just analyzed my movements and use of Qi flow with those eyes of yours. It’s different from other abilities I’ve seen like Jyo, he could analyze everything I did, and could use it against me, not so well, but he could use it. Not particularly my Electric attributes, but my style of fighting. But the difference in your eyes, I’d have to say your Qi is different from his. Why don’t you explain it to me now that I’ve done what you’ve asked.”

It was one of the longest speeches he had said to a Student of 259, but this was a special occasion, no wonder Winters said she was powerful, she had an ability that set her aside from everyone else. And Leon wanted to know what it was.

There was a brief nod to her head. The mud getting all over her was something she was uninterested in, wearing her everyday clothes and all. Nothing a good wash couldn't get out, so she wasn't about to complain. Besides, she was far to busy warming up her body mentally, as if she planned on using her own Qi soon, but not quite yet. There were only a select few in the school who had seen Mitsuki use her Qi, and she planned on figuring this boys Qi once she got out of his view. However, it seemed as if he were interested in the slight glimmer in her eye, which had only just recently started. Perhaps it was because Mitsuki was beginning to use her Qi way more than she was used to, but she had to get herself ready, for she had a feeling something unexpected was coming.

Call it a sixth sense, if you will.

"Contrary to popular belief, the silver flash in my eyes are only there as a side effect."

She was keeping her gift on the down low. Didn't want anyone to know what she actually had, and besides? Why should she trust him?

"I have the same, or rather, similar Qi as you do. Just wanted to see if you really conducted electricity and how developed you were."

She continued.

"I personally don't conduct electricity. Rather, I take the protons and electrons provided from any given source and repel them against each other, creating a spark."

Leon raised an eye brow. To have eyes like Jyo had would help right now. Because in all honesty, Leon couldn't tell if she was telling the truth or lieing. He was known for his ability to catch a lie, but this female was good. Either that or telling the truth. Either way wasn't his concern. He'd reach down for his gloves, and slip them on. A small beep coming from each one after they where fit snuggly on. Shaking his head slightly he would look at her with his dark blue eyes.

"You know. There aren't many people like us. The side effects playing with electricity in the body and mind are dangerous, though I'm sure you have discovered this by now."

It wasn't a lie, but not everyone that can use electrical abilities had side effects, but he was going off what she used talking about her eyes.

"Judging by what you say, your not new to these side effects."

"Of course. All the brain activity and the amount of energy flowing through the veins, it can get rather tiresome."

A fluent lie. Mitsuki always had a bit of charisma, it's just that she hardly ever used it to her advantage. An excellent liar, just that there wasn't a whole lot to lie about. Maybe if Mitsuki came to trust Leon, she'd be able to tell him the truth of her Qi, but since lately her trust has been thinning away in almost everyone after what happened between Mitsuki and him.

They say to keep your friends close, but your enemies even closer. What happens if your enemy was once your friend? It wouldn't have been so surprising if it were an acquaintance.

"No, I'm not. I've had it for a while now. What about you? Any unusual side effects?"

She picked up her umbrella and shook it. It was still raining, Mitsuki was now drenched, but whatever.

Leon put his hands on his hips and thought for a moment. And he looked down, recollecting his mind while he stood there. It would take a bit of explaining.

"Lately I've been mellow compaired to my more youthful adventures. I used to be ruthless and such. Now I have a family and I'm more... 'House broken'. But whenever I use my abilities to their full extent, I feel like I'm being reverted back to the old me."

Leon's truthful answer as it where. To him it was like the electricity played with his emotions, taking away his inhabitions. Where his usual enjoyment of a fight would be replaced with a ruthless nothing. Like now how he fights for fun you would just see a person with such power inside a shell. Something that is just there simply to kill whatever it comes in contact with, and having no emotional response to anything. It kinda scared him.

"Maybe it's the way you use your Qi, rather than it being a side effect."

It was just an idea, but Mitsuki herself really didn't have a clue what he was talking about. She rarely found any fun when it came to combat, and the only thing that came to mind when she had fun when fighting was that one incident with Unfettered Thrush. But it seemed that he was more cautious of his actions now, because he just then mentioned that he had a family, as if that were a new beginning to his life. People did crazy things for their loved ones, so Mitsuki could only guess what was subconsciously going on in his mind whenever he fought. There was more at stake now that he had a family; if he died, then his family would be the one to suffer the most. If his enemies attacked his family, then he would suffer; it was like an endless cycle. Maybe that's why Mitsuki had no rivals. Unfettered may have declared war on her, but until she sees the extent of his ability to fight? Still, that was unlikely.

She closed her eyes and began to feel the change going through her body. Unnatural. Goosebumps appeared on her arm, shivers sliding up and down her back, trailing across her skin. Right arm was brought out to the side, outstretched, but then dropped after a quick second. She was going to try out his Qi, but decided she couldn't do it in front of him. It was, she decided, a 'hazard'.

Bzz...bzz...

Her hand sparked. She was surprised, but her face, nor her eyes, showed nothing of that emotion. It continued to spark, brown orbs gazing at the light that appeared between her fingers, as if willing it to go away.

And it did.

Eventually.

"Any drawbacks to your particular gift?"

Leon heard her response and closed his eyes. He shook his head a bit. It wasn't how he used it, but how it used him. He saw her and raised an eye brow after he had opened his eyes. He folded his arms and wasn't sure what to make of it so he decided to think on the draw backs.

"Well if you must know there is another way I can use my Qi. If I myself am out of energy, I can take it from another source. If there is something around me that generates electricity, ie: powerlines, lights, a clock tower, whatever really. Then I can obsorb it and use it as my energy. Now thats a draw back because once I start obsorbing it... I can't stop."

These 259ers really did have alot of questions, didn't they? Esspecially this one, she was all about learnign his abilities. Alittle suspicious, but she gave him no threatening vibes, so he ran with it, no reason not to tell her anything now that he got his gloves back. In the back of his mind he also felt he could take her out if need be, he would rather not think about fighting her though. She was said to be pretty strong.

"I see."

Mitsuki found it odd how he would answer her questions without much of a hesitation. How is it that he trusted her with this information? For all he knew, she could turn on him in the next week, or possibly even the next day. He should have known that many of the 259-ers weren't very fond of the transfers, especially because of their unnatural 'super power abilities' when it came to hand-to-hand combat. Though Mitsuki did not share these thoughts with the others, she did find it rather tiresome of all the damage that has happened ever since they started flocking over to the school. They might have not started the fights, but they sure as hell participated in them.

It was then when she realized that she did not know his name, despite the fact that she had seen his face many times before.

"I don't believe we've had a proper introduction. Mitsuki, and you are?"

Her hand was outstretched, sparks flying between fingers which she shook off.

Well, this is certainly different.

"I'm Leon, nice to meet you."

He'd reach to shake her hand. As he had already suspected, the transfer had his ways of getting information. He also knew too well of how the 259ers reacted to transfers, but he was generally left alone at his spot near the clock tower. He wasn't sure if it would be a good idea to shake her hand considering he could start obsorbing her electricity and not know it, which would suck, but he decided to risk it since he generally had it under his control while he wore the gloves.


"Well then Mitsuki, as much as I like standing out in the rain I think we should find shelter and get some hot coco to warm up."
