Hoo-boy. Alright. Where to start.
9 out of 10 Americans own a gun, 5 out of 10 own one legally. I am pretty sure they exercise a right legally or not. See, heres the thing however, REGARDLESS of how many people own a gun, there are more and more of those "THUGS" popping up everyday. They exercise their right everday as well. Would you rather have them wielding an AK-47 or SMG? or nothing at all? Yea. They might be able to get one or two per thug in some places, sure, but open up that right? And you would have thugs walking everywhere with a piece, LEGALLY, and no. You can have a concealed weapon here in Cincinnati, sure, but you STILL have to follow the SAME EXACT LAWS that you did before, meaning that it is essentially the same shit, you can just conceal it. In all of those areas? I guarantee that those people have to be of certain age, have to have no prior record of criminal activities ( Depending on what it is ), they have their waiting period. OMG! The amount of gun violence went down! I wonder why? Because only CERTAIN PEOPLE get that right, and isnt that an infringement? Sorry, but the right to bear arms is shit.
Prescription drugs come in for a reason with the government, thats why you have over the counter and shit in the aisles. Over the counter drugs form an addiction 90% of the time if done for a long time, and often can cause far more of a high then weed or alcohol. Hence why the government keeps control on it.
Secondly, if they didnt come into the equation, how could people who couldnt afford it, get their drugs? - Cough - Old People/Poor People - Cough - Yea, health insurance is "good" but its kinda hard to get that at an old age, or when your poor as shit.
And last time I checked, the government is in a fuckin' deficit between tax cuts ( No, not only for rich people sadly. Do your homework and you will see what I am talking about. ) a war that the fuckin' PEOPLE wanted ( Yes, around the time the twin towers were dropped, and AGAIN when they heard about Saddams tyranny, the votes were at a MORE then majority to go to war. ), ontop of which, who the fuck funds the prescription drug research? At that the standards for it? The side effects might be bad, but they could be a HELL of alot worse.
As for stopping crazy people? No. Of course not. However, making things illegal tends to deter people, you know how many people would be running around pillaging and doing whatever the fuck they wanted if the government didnt exist? Quite a bit. Thats why they are there in the first place. Also, get rid of the police instead, we will see how shit the country turns, especially now a days.
A prime example of this is the religious system. It in itself is like a government, in that it was created for the point of controlling people, if the religious system however did not exist you would have far more problems, and not just from human beings that are lost.
Btw. Saint. Self-Defense went out the window a long time ago from the church/parent whining assholes. They lobby behind the fact a few people get killed by self-defense, yet dont think of the fact that so many people can die from not having self defense. This is the people at work here, not the government, and yes, he is exercising his right sadly. See, I wasnt talking about BREAKING INTO the home as being his right, I am speaking about the fact regardless of that, he can sue the shit out of you.
Now. Heres a question. You dont like somethings about the government? Fine. You dont like what they use for the precise reasons they are around? That stupidity. You might not like it, but I am sure as hell there are plenty of others that feel better with them in place, afterall, not everyone knows how to use a gun, and I am damn sure you dont want to go and put a 9mm in the hands of little johnny and tell him to go into a group of thugs.

*sigh* Writing these long diatribes is beginning to annoy me. It's obvious we don't see eye to eye. So now we can either keep going back and forth with this shit or let it die. The only problems I have with your last arguement are the misunderstandings of what I said, and the absolutist way in which you speak. I'm not going to go into detail because, as I stated before, we'll keep going back and forth. I do not desire the abolishment of the government. Implying that is just stupid. Of course it isn't possible to fix it completely, but it'd be nice for a small tune up. And as a final reply to the last paragraph of your rant: Ignorance is bliss.
