Alright Sky and Karel cut the shit out. just because there is SOME realism in thsi board doesn't mean that its all quontum physics and science. This is XIN. The only restriction is gravity and your apponents stats. If you dont understand what XIN is then watch the flash, please watch it and understand it instead of just seeing the little things. You people aren't very perceptive are you. Ralph is no different covering his fists in flames without getting burnt ever. So deal with your own problems just because your Qi doesn't kick as much ass as his does. Ok?

Qi Ability: Sharpens mind and body in all aspects. Senses increase based on skill level, time seems to slow, as if in slow motion in all levels, all color fades in vision, letting the cursed see in only black in white. Muscles strengthen, body becomes more agile.

The Fortress The Fortress is quite frankly, an all purpose destruction QI. However, since the QI also has an insanely high requirement, even for a teacher it is hard to master. Much like a Fortress, this QI has abilities which tie in to the Constitution trait, making Hiroko far tougher then he is initially, but as it grows so does the basic requirement for other statistics besides Constitution. This works equally with the other abilities that tie into this QI. To top this off, the base restrictions apply in a harsh manner, requiring two strong traits in order to increase another, working for EVERY one of the abilities. It also has the degree of levels that make it difficult to train, as one can only work on one of the six abilities at once, and requires a degree of uses as well as a post count from the initial training period to level up. The Fortress was named after a realization of the many names Hiroko has been given over the past, in that he focuses initially on a defense and counter technique. Much like a castle's primary concern is on defense first and then strength next this QI technique works in the same. Though, the inspiration for the style itself comes from his stay back at 552 where he began to learn that he was a little different from the average student, more so in the fact where most people tend to loose their growth spurt after a few years gradually shrinking down to less then an inch then even less until they dont any more. Hiroko continued to grow into a towering height, much like his body followed suit creating the behemoth he is today. Though, this accounts for the size essence in his ideas, it helps that thanks to the fights he has been in throughout the past, he has picked up little bits and pieces from each one. Even learning historic points from the styles some people held. It is all culminated into this. Constitution - Constitution in itself is meant to be the trait of a human that determines his ability to take damage, but also shows endurance, the amount of pain one is effected by, as well as many other traits involving the various defenses of the human body. To this, Hiroko brings his own rendition of the subject through various levels, but this is also one of the two key prominent traits of this QI. Level One At this stage, Hiroko adorns something much like a leather clad skin, without the added restriction of leather itself. It makes his flesh more impervious to cuts and even bruises to a degree. This being the most level of the skill, it is not extremely powerful in terms of his own skills, but it does hold alot of defense to it. Aside from the leather like properties of his flesh, he also gains an added +5 to CON at the cost of -5 to DEX for the duration this is used. ( Work in progress. )

Qi Name: Aerodynamic
Qi Ability: This Qi gives the user the ability to alter his weight and aerodynamic abilities so that it would look like he is flying when in fact he is just falling at a lower speed. This gives users more freedom to perform air attacks.
Beginner Level: Able to alter weight slightly allowing user to fall slightly faster of slower. Stat Requirements: 20 dex, 15 cha
Novice Level: Able to alter weight Moderately allowing user to have more control in the air. Stat Requirements: 20 Dex, 15 Cha, 15 Int
Pro Level: Able to alter weight above average allowing user increase or decrease his weight to an even greater degree. Stat Requirements: 30 Dex, 25 Cha, 20 Int
Advanced Level: Able to alter weight significantly allowing user to glide in the air Stat Requirements: 35 Dex, 25 Cha, 25 Int
Master Level: able to alter weight dynamically to the point were the user is light as a feather, or as heavy as a boulder. Stat Requirements: 40 Dex, 35 Cha, 25 Int, 20 Wis

8 Million Whispers - Qi Power 8 Million Whispers gets its name from the old Japanese saying, 8 Million Kamis, or gods. However, the main idea is that the number 8 Million is synonymous to Endless, or Eternal.... Quite fitting for this horrific power. The Whisper name comes from the cold, haunting whispers that victims usually hear when affected by this power. Auroth honed this power one his way to Public High School 259, deciding to hitch hike and walk here rather than take a bus. In doing so, he studied the humans he met on his path and cultivated this power, basing it off a universal emotion..... Fear. This Qi lets the Emperor manipulate this emotion and ultimately makes it a powerful weapon in battle. Qi Name: 8 Million Whispers Qi Ability: 8 Million Whispers power is the manipulation of fear. Initial levels start with the opponent being weakened by fear, even if they've never felt fear in their life, or other things. However, higher up 8 Million Whispers allow Auroth to manipulate this fear for his own benefit, like commanding people around. Each level of the Qi is accompanied by the name of the Technique that is gained at that level, as well as a refinement to the previous level of this Qi. Note: None Power may not be activated all at once, unless Auroth has reached master level. Beginner Level - Aura of a Lost Hope: At beginner level, 8 Million Whispers is a rather useful weakening tool. Auroth would concentrate his Qi to release a metaphysical Aura of fear around him, infusing the air around him with hopelessness, cowardice, and of course fear to which his victims feel, with the occasional whisper every here and now. This whisper is garbled nothingness, but carries with it a strong sense of horror. The radius of the Aura can range from 10 meters to as far as his eyes sight, and can change whenever Auroth wills it to. This power though is non-discriminate, and effects everyone, even people Auroth doesn't want affected. Furthermore, strong winds that would blow away air does nothing to the power, and if anything harsh winds should add to the dark, horrid nature of this Qi. His opponents, now feeling the effects, would suffer either a -10 to all stats or -20% to all stats, which ever is greater. To be affected, one must compare their Charisma to Auroth's charisma. If the defender has higher, the defender is not affected. If Auroth wins, then the character is affected. Stat Requirements: Wis 35, Cha 30 Novice Level - Curse of the Immaculate Paranoia: Honing in his fear, Auroth transforms the fear to the next level, strengthening the grip of horror that he commands. The Aura in the air becomes even more reinforced, thickening the layer of fear with self-doubt, paranoia and other forms of fear, with Auroth at the epicenter of it. Mechanically, the fear that Auroth wills can no screw up the Qi flow of the body, meaning that his opponents can no longer activate their Qi. Any continuous Qi effects active before this Qi deactivates and cannot be re-activated until Auroth deactivates the Curse. Secondly, characters may not attack Auroth either, for the fear he emits allows them not to do so. The same rules as before, CHA vs CHA, if defender wins he doesn't get affected, if Auroth wins than the char is affected. Also of note is that Aura of a Lost Hope can now be activated if Auroth can beat his half his opponent's CHA, not his full, as well as the ability of being selective of his targets that falls into the radius. Stat Requirements: Wis 40, Cha 35. Pro Level - Grip of the Infinite Nightmares: Infusing the aura further, Auroth can cause so much fear that his opponents cannot move in at all, meaning that Auroth can freeze them, even in combat. At this Level, the Aura becomes so thick one could see it's deathly purple miasma in their mind's eye. The whispers appear louder now while the emotions evoked (Paranoia, Fear, Hysteria, etc), are felt even more. However, this fearsome power requires that Auroth draw some blood (-1 to Constitution) and let it spill. The power then lasts for five minutes, and ends unless Auroth sheds more blood. Auroth may not use blood he has previous lost, metaphysically their substance is weakened due to their exposure, and thus has to draw blood from his body (Again, -1 to Constitution per five minutes gained). It takes one day to heal this -1 to Con effect. To see the power take affect, Auroth's CHA must be higher than his opponents, or the power does not activate. Alternatively, Auroth can opt to not spend blood and instead do a one-shot mental attack on one opponent, rupturing the opponent's thoughts with fears and hysteria, resulting in Constitution damage equal to his Cha. Secondly, Curse of the Immaculate Fear and Aura of a Lost Hope may now be activated if Auroth's CHA is higher than Half his opponents Charisma. Also of note is that Auroth may choose who is affected by Curse of the Immaculate Fear. Stat Requirements: Wis 45, Cha 40 Advanced Level - Voice of the Sanguine Emperor: At this level, Auroth can now direct this Aura squarely on one person, his aura of fear and hysteria trouncing down upon them. Auroth may now command his victims to do anything he wants them to do. This power lasts until Auroth's turns it off so to speak, and can affect as many opponents as Auroth wishes, as long as Auroth can see them. Victims usually hear the whispers apparent in the last powers appear again but in full force, as well as visions of the present appearing slightly disoriented to appear much more scary, with Auroth as both a beautiful thing and a repulsive and horrible monster, to which the victims must obey. Again, Auroth's CHA must be higher than his opponents CHA, and Aura of a Lost Hope, Curse of the Immaculate Paranoia and Grip of Infinite Nightmares may be activated if Auroth has higher than half his opponent(s) Charisma. Grip of Infinite Nightmares may now be selective of its targets as oppose to being area wide. Stat Requirements: Wis 50, Cha 50 Master Level - Gaze of the Macabre Eyes: The pinnacle of the 8 Million Whispers, this power is perhaps the most feared power of all time. Focusing all of 8 Million Whispers fears, horror, whispers, and emotions onto a single target by direct eye contact, Auroth may cause that opponent to fall to the ground, knocked out. However, he may only activate this power three times a day, each time invoking a -5 to all stats (Except Charisma), to a maximum of -15. This lasts until the next sunrise. Again, Auroth's Cha vs his opponent's Cha. If Auroth wins, than his opponent is knocked out, his the defender wins then they're not knocked out. Also, all of his Qi powers can be activated at once, as well as all the previous powers he has may be activated if Auroth defeats half his opponent's CHA, not all of it. Stat Requirements: Wis 60, Cha 60

Qi [/u] Light Of The Dark[/center] Qi Ability: An ability that Dark had learned from a Taoist Temple on his way to California. This ability basically allows Dark to emit a light that was mulitple effects on his enemies, depending on his skill with it. It is done with a clap, before jerking his hands at different directions, creating both sound and friction, which Dark turns into light using his 'inner energy'. For an example of the effects, just imagine having a flashbang setting off a few feet in front of you, while wearing glasses. You will go blind. Temporarily, of course. And Dark will undeniably take advantage of this chance, using his high speed to reach you and execute a very powerful attack, which can range from a power jab at the chest to suplex. Basically, when you've been hit and you don't look away, you'll be in Dark's definite victim. It'll affect you as long as a single beam of light directly reaches your eyes, or reflections. Light that bounces off walls, floors and such does not count. Due to the major usage of Qi for this, Dark is only able to use it twice in between eight hours of continuous rest. Beginner Level: A simple white light that can temporarily blind the opponen(s) for a duration of 2-4 seconds. Depending on the person's level of bravery, they might hesitate too. Stat Requirments: 15 Cha, 20 Dex, 15 Wis Novice Level: A whitelight that can blind the opponent(s) for a duration of 4-6 seconds. And once again, this may cause the victim to hesitate. Stat Requirments: 25 Cha, 25 Dex, 20 Wis Pro Level: A yellow light that can blind the opponent(s) for a duration of 7-9 seconds. This time, it will definitely cause the victim to hesitate, unless of course they have a very good will power to keep their head clear and actually use their ears during these moments. Stat Requirments: 35 Cha, 30 Dex, 25 Wis Advanced Level: A yellowish light that can blind the opponent(s) for a duration of 10-12 seconds. The fear will of course be there also, but there is an addition to it. Not only will you lose the function of your eyes, but your ears too. Good luck if you become a victim of this. Stat Requirments: 45 Cha, 35 Dex, 30 Wis Master Level: This is where a total transformation will be made to Dark's Qi attack. Instead of light, pitch black darkness will spread from his hands, covering an area radius of a maximum of 25 meters, depending on Dark. This darkness will cause one to not only lose his sight and his hearing, but control of his own body too. When executed, the person will be lose control over his body, becoming a defenceless victim under Dark's attacks, for a total of 10-15 seconds. Due to this being a major usage of Qi, Dark can only use this once a day, and he will need 15 hours of rest without usage of Qi before he can use it again. Stat Requirments: 55 Cha, 40 Dex, 35 Wis

Qi Name: Aura of the Earth Dragon
Qi Ability: Aura Qi Qi-Suppressant
General Qi Description: The Earth Dragon has always been a symbol of Endurance and longevity. It is for that reason that the Earth Dragon Coat protects the user from harm allowing them to fight much longer then normal. Mathew Amtrum current holder of both the Earth Dragon Coat and the title Earth Dragon has inherited more then just the coat with the title.
Mathew's Qi is emitted outwards in a radius around him as an aura. Like others that can project their Qi outwards in forms such as electricity Mathew's also moves outwards with him always at the center. Having a potent Qi, Mathew's Qi dominates an area to the point that Qi will not work when it is within the range of Mathew's aura. This is an effect that can not be controlled by Mathew and as such he can not choose which Qi are effected by this. Friend and foe alike are subjected to the nullification effect.
Naturally it is possible for a stronger Qi to be able to break past Mathew's Qi while it is still developing and thus it would only be weakened proportionately to the strength of Mathew's Qi. Likewise the radius of Mathew's Aura is also dependent on the Strength of his Qi.
Qi Strengths: The strength of this Qi is in essence to deprive his enemy(s) of their Qi making a fight more "even"
Qi Weaknesses: Mathew gains no actual benefit to himself from his Qi other then depriving his enemy of a resource. Also he is still effected by the results of Qi outside of his aura. For instance a person with super strength could throw a car at him and when the car enters the Aura it is still going the speed it was before the aura. Or in the case of the fire ball if they shot at the roof above him he would still be subject to Debris.

Beginner Level: Mathew's Qi only effects things that directly touch his body and or clothing. Any Qi or person enhanced by Qi that touches him acts as if it was one level lower. Qi of Beginner level are nullified completely as long as contact is sustained.
