The staff have decided to hold competition as to who can have the most entertaining fight.
The setup is pretty open ended. You can have any number of people in one fight. It can be one on one, two on one, etc. Group fights are encouraged as there haven't been many in a long time, aside from the Assembly thread.
There can be whatever rules the participants agree upon. First blood, etc. After all the fights are finished (The dead line will be one month and no longer) the members will vote on the fight they think was the most entertaining. The winning thread's participants will win...a mystery prize!
It would probably be easier if this wasn't connected to character's IC storyline, but if a thread is made that works like that, it will be permitted. So it's pretty much up for you to decide.
The main idea behind this is to turn the focus from winning fights and having your ego boosted, to awarding those who have the most fun and make things the most interesting.
Be wild! I wanna see some fights on rafters and over a pool of sharks or some shit, I know you people have a crazy side, lets see it!
Next is the 259 dance, which you all know about, or should. I just wanted to bring it up here to remind everyone of the current events.
I made this poll because a lot of times people flake out from things even after saying they will participate in them, so think long and hard before you answer. If you think you'll get bored of RPing half way through, say it.
There's no point in having these events if you're not going to participate in them.
EDIT: This is something that's really important to me, so I'm gonna rant about it here whether you people want to hear about it or not. I've heard a lot of people complain about RPing not being the same as when they started or whenever, and that's simply because it's new and different when you started. Anyways, whatever reason you have for not being inspired for RPing is your responsibility.
Stop waiting for something magical to happen that'll inspire you, because it's not going to come. It's your job to work towards enjoying writing, and that doesn't mean it doesn't have to be fun, but you're gonna have to put some goddamn effort into it.
I'm guilty of being one of the people just waiting for something to happen, but not any more. I'm going to try and make this place fun, both for me and others. If you want to help, I thank you. Bleh, I'm spent.
I hope this has had at least some kind of impact on you.
