O hai. I am updating, I sure amz. This would have been Delilah had the world not asploded and everything turned out ok. Scratch the above. This is Delilah anyway. WE'RE HAVING A BABEH EVERYPONY! Notice the youngin' with her. That could be anyone, but I had a recent dream (after rereading a certain thread a million times) that it was Stu Pott's son. His name is Oliver Stuart Pott and I just HAD to draw him. Click for the new Delilah image<3

I just had so much muse over the weekend that I could do nothing with RP wise. So, after I exhausted myself with training, I could do one of two things: 1) Sit on the couch watching "Friends" DVD's and squealing intermittenly to release muse build-up. 2) Draw ALL THE THINGS and squeal intermittenly anyway. Yes. So many memories. I saw the Delilah + "Unfettered" one and I was like "AWWWWW YEAAAAAH". I agree, I've been lurking stealing glances at everyone's DA pages and I'm finding some REALLY talented artists among us. IT'S SUPER GREAT. >3<

With Stu...
...I think it's because 2-D has this overall "lack" of detail (if you look at it, they really ramp up the lines with Noodle and Murdoc, but seem to have this almost biblical lack of lines for 2-D comparatively) that makes him so well drawn in the Gorillaz (I looked over your drawings again---this is already well done). In the side-shots, it looks great, you're using wonderful detail of the eyelids...
...In the front picture, there is no eyelids, it's just two gigantic holes gaping at you. If those were eyeballs, it would still be freaky being stared at like that. I think that's the primary thing, but I'm no master critique. Otherwise, REALLY like first two (yar, seriously, second one being tops), third has potential to grow from.

I know in the art for the Gorillaz the eyelids are much more pronounced in front facing images, and the faces are very expressive despite having minimal features. The profile images, particularly the seocnd one, is my fav too. Stupid MS Paiint taking away the smile because it was too dark >[ bull. =D Thanks for the advice, Mikeh!!!! Imma try that, aifinkso You're very talented ^_^ personally, I have been having loads of trouble drawing bodies lately. ='D Thank you, that means so much! Seriously, I've been creeping looking through your art and I love your style. If you're having trouble with bodies lately, if you draw freehand, like me, without any outline, try drawing a skeleton first with the pose you want, and then follow that. I use myself as a model for some of the things I draw as well, particularly the hands and placement of the shoulders. I;m sure you don't need me to tell you this, though =D You're already a very talented artist yourself!!
