Well I wrote a poem today..Thought I'd share it..

Sinister Sundown

City streets,
Dimming lights,
Running,
Why is it after me?

Was it a choice?
A promise?
A loss of concentration?
Who knows..

The houses look the same,
Hallowed streets empty with the stench of death,
The sun claims all.

Before long it will take me too,
Too, to the death that becomes dawn.
Nighttime was my only solitude.

Now I must face the world.
The outside.
Sunshine.

I want to be free..

Free, like the sun's rays.

HMMMM...its a lovely poem, even though it doesnt rhyme. Its got imagery in it, and I would love to explain all of it, it'd take too long so....

I GIVE YOU KUDOS! Nice. I liked the whole sun personification in there. Chasing, as it sets. Sounds like a vampire poem too.!! XD

Stripes

I bet you're wondering,
What it feels like.

What it feels like to step,
step into another person's shoes.

Just like for all of you,
I step the same road,
The road of pretend
The road way away from deceit.

But people make people up,
Some seem superhuman.

I wonder what it'd be like,
to step into Cody's shoes.

A hardcore fugitive,
Addicted to fighting.
Breaking out of jail,
Just to fight again.

Wandering the slums of Metro City,
beating the Mad Gear as I go.
Riding the rails on the subway,
Never taking the answer "no".

Making it to the Westside,
just to be put into a pit.
Out to the industrial area,
making things quite unfit.

Finding the thug named Birdie,
shutting out of his life.
He wants to beat me down,
Fine let him try.

Making my way to the Bay area,
destroying those in my way.
An unstoppable machine,
never stopping for a break.

Rolento wants a piece of me,
he'll fail at Uptown square.
Belgar's just around the corner,
feared thugs turn to stare.

Finally, i'm done,
the fight is won.
Or is it?
No.

This place be my fight.
My time,
My revenge.

Edi. E takes me down,
jail my only time.

Breaking out a sinch,
but now challengers everywhere.
All I must beat,
the hunger always there.

So it makes me wonder,
What's Cody like in real life.
As he wears those "Stripes",
through bloodshed and strife.

The subway always worked.

Made to feel the heat.

The trains passer by as our "arguement" went on,
the fight continues strong.
The feirce battle, what was it all for?

You continue to torment? What is this?
Why do you insist?

I must persist..

Only to realize..

That was nothing at all.
