Second Date! (Jyo)

[Bella]

Bella waited. She was anxious to say the least. Tonight was her second date with Jyo and she got to meet his daughter. Yes, she knew that she was only fifteen and a bit young for all this but she had never been happier and even her father seemed to notice the change. She smiled softly as she sat on the hood of Jyo's car.

Yes, she had that whole calender model thing going on right about now. Short skirt that was a soft pale pink and a white turtle neck sweater. She wore cute fuzzy snow boots and she had that little snow bunny appeal to her. She let her hair hang down around her body as she waited for her date. His hair tie was still around her wrist from last night and she fully intended to give it back to him tonight.

Her bag was leaning against the wheel and some guys looked at her as they passed wondering who on earth she was waiting for or if she needed a date. But she saw none of them as she waited looking at the doors of the school for that one redheaded man that had made her day yesterday.

[Jyo]

Jyo had been slightly dissapointed not seeing Bella all day throught school today. But it was counterd by the knowladge he'd see her for sure and be able to spend a good amount of time with her. Lene was very excited of hearing Jyo had a friend coming over to cook them dinner.

He was wearing his normal suit today but also had a large black duster (Heavier trenchcoat) on due to the weather. He for some reason had problems with being cold. For many it sharpend their senses. For him it was the opposite. Warmth made him alert.

He stepped out of the doors and in the distance he saw Bella already on his car. His long hair was loose and trailed behind him as he walked over to Bella with a smile.
"I hope you wern't waiting too long." He said with a smile looking her up and down.
"You look even more wonderful than when I first met you." he said grinning.

[Bella]

Bella looked up as the school bell rang and watched the entrance for Jyo. She hadn't seen him all day but it had been a hectic peprally day and so she had not been able to make time to run over to a senior hall. But she figured they would have to set up a time to eat lunch together during the day if they were going to keep things going.

Jyo stepped out and a bright smile crossed her face as she waved cutely. He came up to her in his trench coat and his normal clothes and she smiled softly as he looked her over. She must have looked good to get the once over like that from him. She blushed softly as she heard his comment and she slid off the car before hugging him gently but excitedly.

"Never is too log to wait for you." she chuckled softly. "And thank you for the compliment."

She looked up at Jyo and smiled. She reached up and kissed him really quickly on the lips. She didn't know how much he would want to show affection in public so she was going easy until he gave her a clue. She took his hand gently.

"Ready? I have to admit I'm kinda excited." she said with a smile. "I even got something for Lene." she shrugged and blushed a bit.

[Jyo]

Jyo smiled kissing her back holding it a bit. He didn't mind people knowing he was with her like this.
"Thats good to hear. Not that I would take advantage of that." he said with a grin unlocking the car doors opening Bella's for her and closing once she was in getting in his own side and started up the car.
"So what did you get for Lene?" he asked curiously as he pulled out of the parking lot.

[Bella]

Jyo kissed her back and she practically melted. It was so nice to be with someone. The kiss broke and she smiled up at him. Leading her to her side of the car she grabbed her bag and slid into her seat. Buckling up as Jyo closed the door and went to his own side. A few minutes later the viper started and he began to drive.

"Oh, well I got bored this morning and well I like to make jewelry and things with beads and such. Gives me time to relax and things like that. So I made her this." she said as she leaned over and grabbed her bag.

Opening the front pocket she pulled out a clip for a backpack or set of keys like a key chain. Purple and blue sparkling beads that were made of tempered glass ranged down the soft threads and her name L.E.N.E. was spelled out in purple beads with silver letters on them.

"I hope she likes it, and I hope I spelled her name right, if not I can fix it. I brought extra beads just in case." she said showing Jyo the gift. "What do you think?" she asked softly. More than anything she wanted to make a good impression on Lene and be able to continue dating Jyo.

[Jyo]

Jyo managed a quick glimpse at the gift that was made for Lene and smiled.
"I'm sure she'll love it." He said as he pulled out onto the main road. he picked up a little speed and cruised down the freeway for a while.
"Takes a little bit to get there. I live in a flat near the edge of the city." He said.

"You sound like you're really hoping to make a good impression on Lene. Am I right?" He asked stealing another quick glance at her out of the corner of his eyes.

[Bella]

Bella blushed softly at his question as she put the keychain back in her bag. It was probably cheesy but it was something she thought the girl might like and so she had made it. She probably wouldn't have the nerve to give it to the girl anyway. She looked down at her lap and her hands played with each others fingers while she stared at them.

"Well.. of course. I mean she's your daughter and I like you a lot. I want to get closer. And if she doesn't like me then it probably won't work between us. And I.. really want it to you know." she said softly as she played with his hair band that was on her wrist she had yet to give it back to him but would tonight at some point.

She bit her lower lip softly and let her brown hair fall across her shoulder blocking her worried and a tid bit scared face from him. Her insecurities seemed to come out when she didn't need them to like now but there was nothing she could do to control it.

"I brought.. cookies.. I made too." she said softly.

[Jyo]

Jyo smiled and reached over with his right hand to put it over Bella's hand. he gave a chuckle.
"I'm sure Lene would like you no matter what. She's been eager to meet you. I'm sure things will work out fine. And I think you might find her a bit interesting. SHe's not like many girls her age." he said with a sly grin.

After a few minutes he pulled off onto a smaller road.
"We made good time. Only a couple miles now." he said still keeping his hand on hers.

[Bella]

She felt his comforting touch on her hand and she smiled softly entwining their fingers softly. His touch did that to her. Compeltely relaxed her no matter what was going on. She sighed softly when he told her not to worry that everything would be allright. She looked up at him and smiled softly. His eyes were on the road but he would probably see it anyway.

"What is Lene like?" she asked softly.

She wondered what he meant by not like normal girls. How old was she anyway? That was something she had never asked before. And the girl was eager to meet her that was something that shocked her too. It was nice. She was getting more and more excited by the moment as she looked up waiting.

[Jyo]

Jyo luaghed. It was short but it was the first time in years he had genuinly laughed.
"That would be nearly impossible to explain. She's a unique girl. You'll have to see for yourself. No explaination would do her justice. As for her age. She's eight just of last week." He said with a grin as he acellerated a bit. In a couple of minutes they were at the flat. it was a decent sized place. Not huge but roomy.

"Home sweet home." he said stopping the car and getting out and as normal helping Bella out of her side.
"Jyo! Bella!" Yelled a voice that clearly belonged to a child as a girl roughly four and a half fett tall ran out with an oddly catlike grace. She had pale blond hair and greyish eyes and a perpetual smile on her face oddly simmilar to Jyo's. She wore a blue tee shirt and black jeans and basic sneakers. in appearence she seemed rather much like an average young girl.

[Bella]

She chuckled. That was probably true but she did want to know about the girl. It was going to be hard to get to know a girl that she had no previous knowledge of. But she was reminded that her mother had always told her to be herself. That if she was really herself people would like her.

They arrived at the house and Jyo helped Bella out of the car. She grabbed her backpack and smiled. It was nice she thought it looked rather homey in her mind. She heard Jyo and her names called and she chuckled as a very excited eight year old ran out to meet them. Bella smiled and walked to Lene giving her a big hug.

"Hey, it's good to meet you." she said softly as she reached into her bag while she pulled back and pulled the keychain out of her pocket.

"Here I made this for you, I thought maybe, if you liked it that is, you could put it on your back pack or something." she said with a soft smile as she placed it in Lene's hand.

[Jyo]

Lene had a slightly puzzeld look on her face as a person simply walked up and hugged her. But her response was favorable as she returned it still having apuzzeld look but smiling. She tilted her head curiously looking at the object that had been made for her. She smiled and took it.
"I think I know a better place for it. But that will wait until we are inside. Thank you Bella." She said with a warm smile and grabbed her hand.
"Come on let's go in. I want to show you around." She said tuggin at Bell;s arm with a surprisingly strong grip for her age. Not enough to hurt anyone but enough to leave little room for argument.

Jyo chukled.
"You'll start seeing what i meant soon." he said as he guestured to the house.

[Bella]

Well the hug might not have been the best idea but it seemed that the girl wasn't phased for long. She seemed to enjoy the keychain and soon Bella found her hand being held by the smaller one. With a tug she was off and Bella could only chuckled.

"Guess so!" she called back to Jyo and she smiled with a bright smile as she was dragged into the flat. Bella couldn't help but smile and laugh softly as the very excited girl brought her inside.

[Jyo]

Jyo hung back in the living room as Lene dragged Bella around the house showing her where the dfferent rooms were. Jyo smiled. Lene was eccentric. Happy but definatly different. She had a cross between a hyper girl of ith. But also a very formal type of personality as well for each time Lene explained something she spoke very well useing words conversing at an adult level.

Eventually after she was done she led Bella back to the living room where Jyo stood waiting with a smile.
"Like I said. She's not really going to be what you may ave expected." he said chuckeling. Lene and Jyo had the same sly smile on their faces at this moment as well.

[Bella]

Bella was effectively dragged through the apartment. Bedrooms, kitchen, living room, and the rest. Room after room she went into and she chuckled as they finally made it back to the living room where Jyo was. He was so sweet and his daughter was sweet too. She smiled up at Jyo and took his hand gently.

"It's nice, your apartment. And Lene is a very sweet girl with a lot of energy." she chuckled.

"So are we hungry or do we have things to do before dinner?" she asked looking at the both of them. "And is there anything inparticular either of you would like?" she asked.
