Whoa...a bit too close for comfort...
It seemed that his opponent changed to the commando grip. Quickly utilizing his full speed, Keith would pull his hands back to prevent them from getting slashed. You have to worry about people who can fully utilize the commando grip. Don't even think about disarming people that use commando grip. It's not worth all the cuts that would damage tendons and blood vessels.
Quickly, Keith would strafe towards his right to distance himself from his opponent. Speed was Keith's biggest advantage and he was going to use it. Upon strafing to his right, Keith would to an axial flip to the right, land on the ground, and execute another axial flip, land on his feet and face his deranged knife-fighting opponent.
Was Keith scared? No, he's been slashed and stabbed a few times. This was no different. Only thing was that his opponent was a true knife tactician. Keith wouldn't take his eyes off his enemy.
Your move...

Valekin moved in, blade in hand. He closed the distance quickly, and pulled an uppercut at Keith. All the hopping around didn't do anything but amuse the maniac. Running didn't do anything but amuse the maniac. Hitting him amused him, everything amused him. It was all funny, hysterical even. So totally wacky that his bloodlust doubled.
The uppercut, came from lower left to catch Keith along his torso. This move, upon careful examination, would be deemed a feign. It was better to get hit by feigns, for they were light. What could come from a feign that was acted on, could be severe blood loss. And no one wants to lose their red goo.

Seemed that the crazed knife fighter was closing in on him. However, the person seemed to be strong by the absorption of some of Keith's blood. But it seemed that the speed hadn't changed that much. There was still the fact that he couldn't allow this person to absorb anymore of his blood.
As the uppercut came at Keith with the left arm. Might as well go all out with the use of his speed. Keith could take a good amount of hand and fist strikes. Probably the same with knife strikes, but Keith wasn't going to risk it and allow his opponent to get stronger off of his blood.
With speed and finesse, Keith moved to his right. Feign or no feign, an uppercut with the left arm should leave the side open and vulnerable to attack. Plus Keith had the speed to get a good strike in.
It was time to let this psycho have it. As Keith moved to the right to avoid getting hit by the uppercut, he would throw a hard side thrust kick to his opponent's left side aimed for the floating ribs. A blow to the floating ribs can easily fracture them because they are not attached to the rib cage. Fractured ribs on the right side can cause internal injury to the liver; fractured ribs on either side can possibly puncture or collapse a lung.
A hard strike to the floating ribs should prove disasterous. At this moment, Keith could really give two fucks about the possible damage he'd be causing. His opponent had a knife on him. It was more than enough justification for Keith to be attacking his opponent's vital points.
Should the kick connect, Keith would quickly bring his left leg back and throw another hard side thrust kick to the floating ribs on his opponent's left side.

It's wonderful how many times I get to write the word; Unfortunately. Unfortunately, the feign proved successful. A commando held knife also protected the side it was attacking from. Quickly, with much more force and speed that had been gained from the vampyrism, the blade would catch his opponent off-guard just below his opponent's striking leg's knee cap. This would sever the tendon that allowed that leg to kick, as it was a surface tendon.
To further explain that, it's the tendon that the doctor hits with the hammer, to cause that little joint reflect on your leg. Kinda funny how that's an attack point.
The kick that was aimed at him wouldn't be stopped by the knife cutting it at the knee however. With the riposte that Valekin had just enacted, he had saved his ribcage. A double pivot would make the kick hit only air. As he'd pivot to his own left, he'd put his foot down and follow through with the strike and pivot his torso out of the way, causing a brilliant amount of damage in the knife's arc due to the added force.

Quickly, Keith had to cancel striking the floating rib cage because the crazed opponent was attempting to do something with his leg. Immediately, Keith withdrew his leg to keep it from getting cut. This fight proved to be slightly difficult for Keith. But there was silver lining behind this "cloud."
It would allow Keith to further adapt and expand his horizons in combat. But he was intrigued by his opponent's fighting style and utilization of the knife. Fighting this opponent had now sparked Keith's interesting in "vampirism." Still, Keith was a pretty damn fast person in combat. So he still had that going for him.
As Keith drew his leg back, he would jump back a few feet and keep his distance. His opponent still had the knife in the commando grip. Which meant Keith would have to fight more cautiously and intelligently.

His opponent's retreat pleased Valekin. His eyes focused on his enemy's from afar. The clink clink clink of his metal plated boots on the roof echoed as he strode towards his opponent. How to approach this? He kept running, going out of reach. He might just have to take him down the good old fashioned way. Romano style.
He had closed the distance between them quickly, and unthreateningly as possible. But that was psychology at work. This farce was unnerving. What was the psychopath planning? What could it possibly be? That smirk didn't say anything at all. Just that he wanted to rip out Keith's heart, and feast on it while it still beat. Three long strides away now.
One step... two step dropping to the knee, three, sliding acrpss the roof in close quarters. A shoot and slide. Classic wrestling move for gaining control of your opponent's legs. It seemed that Keith was a kicker, well... then he'd make that useless. Valekin's ground game was ridiculous. He was much faster when he wrestled than when he fought normally. The shoot and slide would come unexpectedly, and offered surprise.
Both of Valekin's arms would wrap themselves around his opponent's legs, then jerk to the left and take the legs out from under Keith. Classic take down.

Heh...a leg takedown, huh?
Keith was very familiar with Shootwresting and Shootfighting. Speed was key when doing takedowns. However, Keith being a fan of takedowns was pretty much prepared to retaliate and counter-attack a leg takedown. What leg takedowns are designed to do is to lift the opponent up by his/her leg and knock the person off balance to the ground.
Just shoot down on Keith and see what happens. As the person went to shoot downwards and grab by the leg, Keith would just let the person have it. With lightning fast speed, Keith would throw a very hard knee strike with his right leg aimed right for his opponent's nose. There was way much more to Keith than just performing a bunch of kicks. He was going to show his opponent.
Shoot down on Keith, expect to pay the piper. The hard knee strike would be aimed right for his opponent's nose. Each technique is not without its flaws. That was one major flaw in a leg takedown. Keith was going to let that person have it with a knee strike to the nose area. Any blow can easily break the thin bones of the nose, causing extreme pain and eye watering.
You asked for it...

Valekin tilted his head and took the blow to the forehead. With that smirk still on, he was in close enough proximity to cause some serious damage now. His left arm was behind his opponent, and he stood up. This would drag the blade long his enemy's back. Causing a huge slash. He shouldn't have let him get that close. Valekin's arms are much longer than the distance between his forehead when shooting, and a knee.
He was too close now. Close enough to bite his foe right in the face. Yet his right arm, with claw-like fingernails poised, wrapped around to the back of his opponent. This was practically unavoidable. Keith could try to strangle him, but the knife would play around with his back. Cutting and slashing. His claws would tear and rend. Once again, Check!

Interesting...
This vampirism was intrigued Keith even more. Taking this person on close range wasn't a good idea. Mainly because the guy had a knife. Big emphasis on knife. He remembered a person named Mathew Amtrum who carried a knife on him. However, this deranged psycho was a much better knife user than Mathew was.
Seemed that the knee strike to the face didn't faze Keith's opponent. Instead, he just smiled. Before his opponent could stand up to his feet, Keith would have to use his speed and agility again. Luckily, Keith was still faster than his knife fighting opponent.
Quickly, Keith would quickly jump up a bit and plant both of his feet on top of his opponent's head before he can fully stand up and spring off and execute a corkscrew moonsault in the air. From there, he would land on the floor with grace and finesse. Keith was incredibly fast, why not use it. Especially in this situation.
Getting cut with a knife one time was enough. Keith wasn't going to let this person cut him again. And no use trying to counter the knife strikes because the guy still had the knife in a commando grip. A person that can use a knife with commando grip well in combat is very formidable and dangerous. Hell, that's the same method Keith uses whenever he has a knife or any other type of small blade on him.

Big mistake. The jump to repel off of Valekin's head would end in disaster. As he rose, his opponent's feet left the ground. He pivoted on his right leg, and brought the blade up to meet his opponent while gravity still ruled him. This will without a doubt end in damage for Keith. As a rule of law, Gravity was not able to be defied for long. And Keith would fall to the ground and meet the knife. The weapon would strike him and cleave the flesh of his abdomen, and the right side of his chest. Of course, if Keith attempted to grab Valekin's arm while it struck him, more blood would be spilt, his wrist would buck and saw whichever limb grabbed him.
This was a sticky situation. Definately check, perhaps Checkmate. Things weren't going to well for Keith. The bruise on Valekin's head faded away. Did he just regenerate? That was his Qi ability, Regeneration. The power of Vampyrism granted by the Shard, the power of Regeneration, granted by his body. He was indeed, a powerful warrior.

Damn... Couldn't avoid that one...For some reason, Keith couldn't avoid getting struck across the chest and abdomen. This was going to hurt. With the strike across his chest, Keith's attempt to escape was interrupted. He couldn't avoid it, Keith's blood was spilled once again. The knife strike stung like hell. Only thing Keith could do is take the damage and be brought back to the ground. Keith would be laying on the ground bleeding and in pain. But it wasn't over yet. Not by a long shot. If his opponent was kneeling down slightly a bit to slash him in the chest and abdomen, Keith would quickly attempt to shoot his legs up and wrap them around his opponent's neck and attempt to execute a Triangle Choke. If he can lock the Triangle Choke in this condition, it would be a damned miracle. But that's a big if the opponent was slightly kneeling down or something. However, Keith would have to factor in his opponent's long arms.

The blood splattered all over the place. Including on Valekin. He absorbed the energy and let the boy lay there for a moment. Becoming electrified by the power flowing through him via the shard glowing and sparking uncontrollably. He smiled as he looked down at his opponent. There was no need to kill or eat him. He was far too young, not ripe enough yet. It was a shame. He put up a good fight. Yet this was all for the better. Keith would learn from this. And Valekin's power would grow.
"Don't worry I won't kill you, just remember to who the debt is due."
Hye ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!
Valekin licked the blade of the knife. It was obvious he had won. He took out a disposable cell phone and dropped it within arms reach of his wounded prey. With that Valekin would claim victory, there was no need to fight an enemy that wouldn't be able to continue without killing himself. That was pointless.[/color]
"Think of it, as a gift. Good luck."
Valekin waved at his previous opponent right before he slid down the ladder to exit the area. Things had gotten pretty ugly. And unbeknown to Keith, but known to us. He just ran into the Cannibal Killer the cops were talking about. And lived.

Oooook...
"Don't worry I won't kill you, just remember to who the debt is due."
Was Keith scared, no? But it was pretty surprising and such. Keith still had a meeting with his first opponent at the bar. However, Keith found reward in this. He had witnessed his opponent's Qi of regeneration.
Before his opponent left, Keith saw him leave a disposable cellphone. Keith didn't need it. But perhaps he could make use of it in the future. As Keith's opponent left, he slowly got up and held himself.
"Think of it, as a gift. Good luck."
Keith let out a whistle while in pain. In pain, Keith would get up and walk over to the phone, then pick it up. Perhaps this phone should be useful in the near future. However, the tournament wasn't over yet. It was time for Keith to rest and recuperate a bit.
That smarts...
However, his opponent's Qi got him curious. That happened to be another Qi that Keith definitey wanted to copy. If order to get more information on his opponent's Qi, Keith would have to get stabbed and slashed quite a lot. Looks like Keith's going to have to do research of vampirism.

-End of Fight- Winner: Valekin Loser: Keith
Valekin: -Shard now impresses fear onto Valekin's enemies. It gives them a glimpse into his insane mind. They'll hear the voices he hears, and the sounds. They'll see the things he sees. And they will have to fight the fear that tries to take over their mind.
Keith: -Shard now brings in foresight. You realized you made a mistake when it was too late. Because the shard wants to preserve your life, it grants you slight foresight the moment before it's too late to react. You get ready to jump, and you see a flash of what would happen if you continue with that. This puts things up to debate. Do you continue on your current course? Or do you change what you will do? Either path has consequences.
