The moment his eyes caught the hesitation of the roll-back that didn't happen, his body in turn, swung his OWN other leg up, aiming it at the man's ribs, their legs, both coming in the same direction, and would also touch the other foot down if the hit was just as successful.

A funny little grin was playing on the man's face right now. This was amusing. Provided, he did have longer legs, and well, Red-Lad rather smart in not wanting to use his arms, lest he face a counter from the brass knuckles, which WOULD hurt him, more then it would hurt "Kaufman".

If they deadlocked again, and yet Red-Lad would pull his foot back anyways and leap away, so would "Kaufman". Reactions, Red-Lad, reactions are something you can't beat me with yet, at your level!

You'll have to grow much stronger... Red-Lad.

Jyo didn't even give the Dean a chance to speak. As soon as their kicks met he abandoned the plan to roll back and instead he swing the other leg up for a kick aimed at the man's ribs. His other foot would be touching down as soon as the blow would hit if successful.
Not shabby. But he's not any better than Asiv and he doesn't know about the heaven blast of revenge. He thought as he reacted. Jyo would pull his foot back if it worked and then leap away and wait for the Dean to make a move
