Don't mention Mangoes.... -flashback at work-
This lady comes to my till with an arseload of groceries and I scan them, but put in the mango code (4959) but apparently the price was wrong, it was Dollar Days. So, instead, it's 4051. Okay, fine. I went to correct them, then she asks "So they were scanned wrong, I get them free now". I shook my head and said "No", but she insisted. So I called a supervisor, who left and told me to call a Manager. In this case, Jim. Nice guy, just don't ever EVER piss him off. Anyways, she tells her she doesn't because it is (my) Human Error in putting in the wrong code. But she insisted there was a regulation for grocery stores, they actually broke out into a near-screaming argument over it. Then when he left and told her she wasn't going get it for free. So she calls him a jerk when he leaves, and he comes back all pissed off and said that he called her a name. Then they fight again and then he said she can just have them, but phone the manager... so... yeah...
