((OoC: You can do whatever you like, there should be enough there but feel free to add whatever. The Quests are usually the only times all the students group together and they are all so... doomy and gloomy. Change of pace! Join, have fun, maybe create mellodrama, meet fellow students by chance... its up to you!))
The pier and nearby streets and beach had overwhelmed and taken over by the large “Welcoming Spring Festival”. Games galore and food stands seemed to cover the area making getting through the growing crowds a difficult task. Areas of the beach had set aside for a beach volleyball tournament and a nearby court had been reserved for a 3-on-3 basketball tourney that were both to take place later in the day with prizes to be won by the best pair and anyone could enter. A stage had been set for local bands to play and introduce their music to the people, again all they had to due was sign up and bring their gear. There was even a karaoke machine and another for the popular arcade game DDR, both with their own tournaments to be had. Being it was on the beach there was an area to rent a jet ski and enjoy the waves and shining sun. Despite being funding a some new corporation the proceeds from everything went toward charity and the request of the corporation.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Young Zachariah made his way through the crowds that had gathered with much difficultly, here to take in the event and people watch. He was without his trademark white coat choosing to enjoy the sun in a simple pair shorts and a t-shirt. It would be an opportunity to allow his tan skin to get back to color after so long being hidden behind layers of clothing during his anemic times. The tall student adjusted his sunglasses while leaning back against the railing of the pier, sipping on his lemonade while the fair-goers passed by. Parents with their children behind wanting to ride this and that or get such and such prize. Occasionally there might a new couple enjoying a first date. It was nice to such a day off.
The 259 student sighed lightly while spinning around to gaze down on the crowds that were about the beach below. He found having no plan for the day made things more enjoyable than if he had some schedule. Just take things as they come…

[ooc: changed my mind, rewrote my post XD Anyone can join into the 'soccer game' I left the description of the other players blank...as well as whoever the ball is careening towards. Enjoy! ^___^]
----------
"Pass it over here!"
A handful of kids raced through the wandering crowd, playing a game of 'pass the soccer ball through the crowd' or something like that. Either way it was fun, and as the ball soared over the crowd from a high kick, Olesya chest bumped it, juggling the ball back to the ground and took off like a bat out of hell as another teen chased after her. Whoever had the soccer ball was automatically the target and you had to keep it away from everyone at the same time...or something. There were no rules.
In a streak of gray and green, the tank and shorts clad tomboy maneuvered through a tricky space between a stroller and an ice cream vendor, ducking expertly to avoid hitting anyone. Olesya could see movement on either side of her, and could hear shouts from behind, they were gaining! With a quick stop she kicked the ball into the air but it hit the rope of a tent as it rose and got thrown off course...oh shit.
"WATCH OUT!"
She shouted in warning, simultaneously cringing and jogging after the ball when it would land.

OOC: Doncha have a paper to write, Ally cat?
IC: A fedora capped Senior made his way through the crowd as the hum of excited conversation and yelps from various vendors shot every which way like a firefight. Fairs weren't really Aureus' favorite places to be, but he had nothing better to do, and who knew, maybe something interesting would happen. You just had to wait for an opportunity to present itself, or come flying at your head...
Before he had a chance to react, the teen was bashed in the head and his hat was roughly knocked off. Once he had recovered, Aureus picked up the hat and kicked the ball up into his hands. "Some aim ya got there..." He said to the girl who had jogged up while tossing around in his hand. As usual, he wore a ragged pair of jeans and an unbuttoned dress shirt. It was too hot to wear anything under it though, and the breeze from the ocean felt nice on his chest.

"OH MY GOD." someone screamed, from nearby the festival entrance. "IT'S KARI AOYAMA'S MANGA!!!!!!"
"NO WAY."
"IT'S A 50% OFF ON THE ORIGINAL!? OH MY GOOOOOD!"
... OH SHIT. OTAKUS.
DX!!
Emily sighed as she remembered the events of earlier that day... Since there were so many people, Emily thought that it would've been a good idea to promote her manga... as well as maybe sell a few of the older volumes at half price. These weren't translated though, so surely all those who bought them were overzealous fans of Japan's very own Kari Aoyama...
Right now, her table was bare having sold out just earlier. Emily went towards her usual spot and saw a couple of children making sandcastles with plastic cups and spoons.
...
Her eyes twitched before she finally gave into a defeated sigh and sat on the stone nearest her current location. "The festival's just started and I feel so tired..." she sighed, her head resting on her palms as she tried to figure out what to do in this festival.

Masaru, new to the whole "festival" idea, made his way around the crouds with extreme caution, making sure not to accidentally bump into or offend anyone. as he was walking around the festival, he noticed a familiar face.
"Hey Emily, what are the chances of finding you in this pandemonium?"

"Hey Emily, what are the chances of finding you in this pandemonium?"
Emily sleepishly looked around for the source of the voice until she found a familiar face, Masaru.
"Chances?" She asked, scratching her cheek with a finger. "Mmm... maybe one in a hundred? It's only a guess... so..."
She smiled, "Hi...?"

"Hi...?"
One in a hundred, that sounds about right. Today, instead of the full dress clothes outfit, Masaru wore shorts and a button up short sleeve shirt, with some sandals, so he thought he mine as well use the clothes to his advantage since they are looser than his average clothes and restrict less movement.
"Well, howabout lets not let this chance go to waste and have a rematch?"

Emily shook her head and pointed at her clothing. Well, she was wearing a kimono, unfortunately. Something unsafe to run around with. "Mmm.. maybe not today, Masaru." She said, "Not in an appropriate set of clothing for that..."

"Not in an appropriate set of clothing for that..."
Doh! 'Why didn't I notice that earlier?' Masaru thought to himself.
"Darn... So, what do people do at these 'festival' things anyway? I've never actually been to a festival before."

A guy whom has never gone to a festival before? Very rare.
Usually, guys think of festivals as a chance to meet ladies to hook up with. Aye... insane culture, the world has brought up.
She stood up, fixing her kimono lightly and running a hand lightly on her head to check if her ponytail was still up. Well it was.
All is well.
"Well... people just go to festivals to have fun, maybe eat, watch some amusing stuff..." Emily said, just looking towards the sea.

Sounds interesting. Masaru was looking for a moment to see American culture in action. Even though he was brought up as an American, and barely even learned his national language, Japanese, Masaru was never taught much about American culture.
"Sounds like fun, uhm... Maybe you would like to join me as I take a look around? Seems like you know more about festivals than me and It would be nice to have someone around that knows what she's doing."

Emily's eye twitched, a japanese guy whom has no idea what festivals are...?! ... and to think festivals are more often done back where she was!
She sweatdropped, bonking him a bit on the head with her fan. "Mmm... no thanks, I'd just like to to stay in one place for now."

Masaru let out a sigh, oh well, he'll just have to wander around the festival looking for something to do.
"Darn, well see ya later then, I'm gonna wander aimlessly around this festival looking for something fun to do."

Emily sweatdropped and took something from her little bag, well... this was the only thing left from her little stall: a volume of her manga, "Hikaru to Kage".
"Mmm... here's something for you to have fun with." She said, throwing the yet to be unsealed book into Masaru's hands. "If you can read Japanese that is good enough to be considered fun, mm?"

Hmm, well that could be fun, Masaru knows little about the language by reciting, but he knows how to translate japanese text as long as it is in the forms of the japanese, not sounded out and written with american characters.
"Thanks, I know how to read japanese way more than I can talk it, just only in japanese characters, if I have to sound out the english characters, I know so little of the spoken language, I would probably not be able to interpret it. what genre is this anyway? I'm more into comedy, action, adventure, and sometimes kinda... uhm... *cough* romance *cough*... or a combination of any of these, but usually it has to have comedy."
