"You fell for it~."
".... What just happened?"
These were the words Yahto was thinking when he suddenly stopped in his footsteps, his hand having just grasped onto the doorknob and turning it. His left eye was beginning to twitch ever so slightly as he turned to glance at Delilah over his shoulder, his flabbergasted expression mirroring something you'd find in an MSN window. In short, it looked almost exactly like this: o_<;. "So she was getting me all riled up just for some lousy mental warfare test!?"
Yahto could already feel his blood pressure start to rise. "Great. Just great." he thought to himself while rubbing at the spot between his eyes with a free hand. Quite simply, Yahto wasn't used to being deceived like that and the experience had left him quite unnerved, to say the least. Plus, the fact that Delilah was the one to do it just pissed him off to no end. "All right, fine. I'll be there. I suppose you've made your point. But there's one more thing I should tell you..." he said to her once she had finished her monologue, his hand dropping back to his side as he fixed her with a supremely irritated glare. "The next time you have something important to say to me... Don't you ever yank me around like this again." The icey glare in his eyes made it clear about what would happen if she did.
With that, there was nothing more that needed to be said from him. And there was nothing more that Yahto wanted to hear. With a quick turn of the knob, Yahto opened the door and returned to the depths of the school. Although, the muttering curses that kept spewing from his mouth could still be heard even after the door had closed.

OOC : O.o I was kinda waiting for Saint, but I can post~ ------
Delilah watched Yahto leave, smiling amiably despite her growing feeling of self anger. The truth was, the raven haired mechanic hated being deceived as much as Yahto did, maybe more so. The fact she’d tricked someone into revealing themselves was enough to make her skin crawl. It reminded her of her mother. Delilah believed that all things would be revealed in time, to not press someone for information they might not be comfortable sharing. Still, she hadn’t know Yahto long enough, or well enough, to know any of what he said. Time was of the essence here. Now all she needed to do was help him figure out where he fit in at the school in regards to this bloody ‘war’ thing.
Sighing, the girl turned her pale blue eyes up at Saint and raised an eyebrow. ”You’re awfully quiet,” She commented, still unsure of how he would react to her little deception. ”You mind if I ask you something?” She turned her eyes away again and got to her feet, walking to the ledge as she stared out at the Californian cityscape and the school grounds. ”…What do you think of him? Yahto, that is,” The query came out in a confident tone, but underneath was a lilt of uneasiness. Delilah was thinking back to the situation with Valekin, when she foolishly went after him and ended up hurt…and Rem…
She remembered finding him on the shore, bones broken and bleeding horribly, after promising he wouldn’t go after the man who put those marks on her throat. She remembered the fear of having another she cared about die, and die he almost did. If there was something Delilah wanted more than anything, it was that no one would have to experience death and loss. And damned she’d be if she let anything like that happen again.

“Hmm?”
Saint shook his head slightly looking back toward Delilah, awakening from the old debate that was raging on in his head. The little deceit going on did not bother him in the least, it couldn’t. After all he kept quite a few things about himself hidden from everyone despite his apparent openness with others… Jonathon had been right… he was a hypocrite…
“Sorry… no, go right ahead.”
Again a debate began, this time between the faithful side of Saint, the side that believed people were naturally good and would do what was in the best interest of everyone and trusted everyone from the beginning… and the rational side, the side that pressed him to hide things in self interest and believed trust was to be earned not given. Each had a different opinion and after a long while the rational won out. The pillar sighed lightly while tilting his head back before speaking.
“Survivalist… he’ll do what’s in his best interest and the interest of those he cares for. Honestly you can’t guarantee he’ll even remain on this ‘side’ especially if another provides a better ‘offer’ of sorts. If there is someone he cares for and Unfettered provides a better opportunity to protect them and himself… he will switch sides with nary a second thought.”
Another sigh escaped Saint as he finished his take of Yahto, as much as he hoped he was wrong.

Delilah considered Saints words for a long moment, nodding at the wisdom in them. "I see," she murmured. She tilited her head back to look at the sky. "We're all like that. Or at least, I was. I'm not sure if I am any more...it ends in a lot of pain, the sort I wouldn't wish on anyone. Choosing a person over your own values and beliefs is a huge step to take, but you sometimes lose yourself along the way. Bah," She looked back at saint, smiling wearily. "I'm rambling. But what of you? A survivalist or...?"

Now came the moment where the illusion that so many people knew was reinforced. The truth of what Saint thought himself could be quite dark and depressing, not to mention the only real self-preservation mechanism that he had was his hiding of the details of himself. In essence the illusion of himself, or more so how he saw himself and how others might have as well. A short inhalation of air before giving his answer.
“Altruist… or so I’d like to think. I’d like to help everyone and see no one hurt… I’m not much of a fighter either way.”
Granted everything he said wasn’t a lie, quite the opposite but the great lie was in the omission. Saint was unpredictable, sure the things that set him off were fewer however the hold had become stronger because of it. There were times were he wished he could make this whole situation go away and be alright, even at the cost of his own life… a price he’d be willing to except. No one else’s but his own. All this was let lay inside his own mind along with the many other things that he never voiced to anyone… at least not a living person. Still its hard to judge one's self with the same scrutiny as others.
