Oy, it's nothing. ;P Bwaah...
The girl flinched, raising herself lightly as she pushed away from her opponent. This had been a pretty interesting match, actually... though he did act like a jerk... he was alright. She was just lucky she had been a bit more prepared than she had been a few weeks ago.
She looked down at the boy, whom she was apparently 'straddling' from where the two landed. Well, poor him that he had to fall down the two steps with her right on top... probably adding to this pain.
"Thanks for breaking the fall." she would said, smirking as she would move, sitting right next to the boy. "You're an interesting one. I don't remember you giving me your name."
Her personality would seem like a complete switch. From what Zan had experienced the past few minutes, this girl was more like the one he saw singing then the one who went crazy just a few minutes before. Well, what can you do? ---Emily is actually bipolar.
The girl traced the broken pieces of CDs on the floor and sighed. "You did break my favorite CD though, I hope you're happy." Emily pouted, taking the two trombones and basically put them next to each other breathing hot air onto it. If she was able to cut it into two with her Ranken abilities, surely she could put the two back together.

"You did break my favorite CD though, I hope you're happy."
"Aye."
Zanathos simply stared up at the ceiling some more. He frowned. Her CD- huh...
He pushed against the steps and sat up, as he watched her fix the trombone thingy whatsit. Funny funny. The more he watched the girl with her powers, the more interested he was in it.
"Say...uh....what's with those powers? Seems like a few people have it around the school, although I can't recall much."
Biting his tongue, Zan shook his head once before telling her
"My name's Zan."
Simple and to the point. As a few seconds ticked by, he remembered the bite. Grabbing her shoulder, he jerked her around so he could see the bite marks.
"Let me see your neck."

She would seem to be quite preoccupied with fixing the trombone. Obviously, she was a person who'd like to have a lot of people happy. These instruments made people happy by making music, and as such leaving this cut in half would disturb her quite a bit. She would notice Zan sit by the steps, watching her fix the brass instrument with much interest.
"Say...uh....what's with those powers? Seems like a few people have it around the school, although I can't recall much."
"Ah, My Qi?" she would begin, "My Qi involves being able to change the temperature of my environment into the extremes. My fighting style kinda uses that ability of mine and yeah... as you can see what it does."
She held up the half-fixed trombone for him to see, though not as pretty as before... it would still sound just the same.
"My name's Zan."
"You can call me Emily." She froze when he touched her shoulder and jerked her neck over to show where he bit her. The girl would merely sigh and unzip her turtleneck a bit, sliding the thick green cloth away from her neck a bit to expose the already clotting set of bite marks. "So what were YOU doing here at this time of night?"

Hmm....that there Qi stuff seemed pretty useful. Maybe he should really consider taking it up.
"So, like...do you know where I can get myself some Qi?"
Yes, it sounded like a retarded question, but for him it was one of much importance. The mystery behind the manipulation of natural human energy was fascinating.
"You can call me Emily."
"Oh- so your names Emily. It's a fairly normal name." He needed to add a little comment to it. One of the most normal names he had come across for his foes so far.
"So what were YOU doing here at this time of night?"
What was he doing here?.....
Placing an index finger on his chin, Zan stared up at the ceiling once more. Those spiders were making a nice mess of the ceiling...especially the corners. Those cobwebs would need cleaning.
"I came here for the cobweb- I mean, I was snooping around for...my belongings. The math teacher took my notebook earlier this evening- claiming it to be: "full of demonic images and inappropriate manipulation of human beings." It was actually more like little doodles of people being abducted by aliens and Bigfoot. "
"Did you know that aliens are real- and that they can weild pieces of fruit as weapons?"

"So, like...do you know where I can get myself some Qi?" Emily chuckled. Did this guy really didn't have any idea where he could get Qi? Well, that was what Emily worried about... before she came to Long beach. She had unlocked it and cause a bit of... havoc.
Well, that's another story.
"Everyone has Qi, Silly." she would say. "It's just a matter of figuring out what it is and unlocking it from within yourself. If you get what I mean."
"Oh- so your names Emily. It's a fairly normal name."
"Well, Yeah." she would sweatdrop, Emily was quite a normal name for some. Then again -- "It's normal unless you add the rest of it. Which goes "Sacricia Emily Lourdes'. Long, right?"
"I came here for the cobweb-"
?
"Cobweb?"
Zan was being silly.
"I mean, I was snooping around for...my belongings. The math teacher took my notebook earlier this evening- claiming it to be: "full of demonic images and inappropriate manipulation of human beings." It was actually more like little doodles of people being abducted by aliens and Bigfoot. "
o___o
"Did you know that aliens are real- and that they can wield pieces of fruit as weapons?"
O___O
"No way!"
...
Looks like the two would get along. Emily could get gullible at times.

"It's just a matter of figuring out what it is and unlocking it from within yourself. If you get what I mean."
OH! Unlocking that hidden potential within oneself...hmm...
Raising his fists, Zan felt the pain in his body instantly dissipate. Feeling a sudden urge to shoot lightning out of his fingertips, he stood up and closed his eyes.
"So it's true..........you are a Jedi."
"It's normal unless you add the rest of it. Which goes "Sacricia Emily Lourdes'. Long, right?"
"No! Not at all- a Jedi master should normally have a 3 word name. Like....like...Wong Fei Hong."
Nodding with his eyes closed he added
"May I become your Padawan oh great Jedi Master?!"
He honestly believed she was a Jedi. Those attacks...they were like Force Push and possibly Force Cut. It was.....
Amazing
Oh- it'd be fun if he could Force Push and such-
Cobweb...
"No way!"
Yes! She was finally accepting the existence of extraterrestrial life! Getting excited even more, Zan plopped down beside her again as he rambled on about aliens
"So- you see, these aliens. They are actually parasites which can burrow into a human being and transform them into something....something crazy. Take Hitler for instance! He was an alien. Notice how he was able to brainwash all of his country- at one time?! He is truly an alien. So is Barney. You notice how he hangs around with little kids all day and never gets charged for molestation- look a spider....."
He pointed up at the ceiling at a small white house spider which was crawling along it's web.
"-and also, Jesus. Hmmm....Jesus is the only man who lived, who wasn't an alien and had special powers. Forget scientology! Forget those alien freaks! Jesus was not some interdimensional space demon who was able to cast illusions and manipulate human technology to his own benefit, and thus created the wheel. "
"AND that asteroid which wiped out the dinosaurs in the past was actually a giant flying saucer! Filled with fruit! And thus we have pineapples!"
Oh yeah- he rambled alright.

Emily watched Zan shoot his hands up in the air and chuckled. Well, this guy was certainly a strange one. Almost just as strange as Layla.
... so said the one who's crazy.
"So it's true..........you are a Jedi."
Emily shook her head madly. "No! I'm not a Jedi!!" Well, of course she wasn't.
"No! Not at all- a Jedi master should normally have a 3 word name. Like....like...Wong Fei Hong." Emily would sigh in defeat. Zan had probably made up in his mind that she was a Jedi. Ugh... she LOVED Star Wars, but she wasn't... a Jedi. "May I become your Padawan oh great Jedi Master?!"
"My apprentice, you cannot be." she would say. Well, if he was so convinced... she'd just have to play along.
Then came more talk about aliens!
Oh the Glory! She basically went and believed part of what he said about Barney... She'd have to ask Jon about Hitler being an alien and...
What the heck? Pineapples?!
"Indeed! Jesus can't be an alien! And... You've got the pineapple story all wrong! There was some kid who kept on peeking on women and God Punished him by turning him into a pineapple and he reproduced ... somehow."
Emily's eyebrows furrowed, as if deep in thought. Man, this discussion was getting sillier by the second.

Zan felt really bad when she denied his apprenticeship. Ah well....at least she enjoyed his alien talk.
"Indeed! Jesus can't be an alien! And... You've got the pineapple story all wrong! There was some kid who kept on peeking on women and God Punished him by turning him into a pineapple and he reproduced ... somehow."
Oh! So that was it!
Emphasizing his point with his hands, Zan replied
"Of course! The pineapple obviously was an alien and reproduced by spores! It planted spores into the dirt which grew to be apples!"
He felt extremely proud of himself. He had solved the mystery. Beaming with pride, Zan grinned wide and sat down again. This time, however, he spotted a quarter on the floor- and picked it up. The equipment down here was going to need some heavy maintenance.

"Of course! The pineapple obviously was an alien and reproduced by spores! It planted spores into the dirt which grew to be apples!"Emily frowned and thought for a bit. What?! Pineapple Spores + Dirt = Apples? That does not compute at all. Emily would touch her forehead with a hand, "Gah!" she'd say, "I'm confused..."She'd shake her head a bit, hopefully to get the confusing idea off her head. Sadly, it didn't work as well as she had planned. All she got was a yawn, and yeah -- she'd do anything to get home right now for a nap. She covered her mouth with a hand as she yawned, stretching her vacant hand upward. "It's late. Shouldn't we close down and go home...? We can continue this alien talk some other time."Well, it was always welcome. Emily loved the unusual.

Zan nodded his head as she yawned. Feeling the yawn rise up within him, he imitated her yawn. “Yaaaaahhhhhh…..~” Becoming teary eyed and yawning like a hippo, Zan turned towards her and smiled. “You’re right Emily. It’s time to go home.” Although he was reluctant about leaving, he knew that it was getting early/late. Standing up and brushing himself off a quick glance around the room sufficed. Shaking his head, he began to climb up the stairs. “We better get the heck out of here- before the authorities come and get angry.” Jerking his thumb towards the door of the school, he saluted her once before adding “I shall meet you again Jedi-sama!” With that, he bolted out of the back door. Song!

Emily sighed as Zan left. Well, she had a feeling she'll be meeting him pretty soon, so it wasn't a problem. First of all.. there was this Trombone to fix. Guess she'll have to pass on sleep tonight to fix the room up. Everything went well until 4am, when Emily had finally finished placing the chairs and instruments into their proper places and erased the blackboard. She liked fighting, getting stronger because of fighting was a plus... but there were still quite some damage to the instruments. Guess that boy had successfully run away from the bill, huh? Emily took an empty check from her bag on the side of the classroom and a pen from her pocket, scribbling important stuff. How much did she give? She sighed, placing the check on the trombone as she placed it on the teacher's desk. There, she attached a note that said. "$10,000 for any damage. Leave a note here by tomorrow night if it will not be enough to replace anything broken." ... Interesting huh? Emily wasn't one to flaunt her self-earned riches. After all, yen wasn't exactly the best thing to convert into dollars. But still, it was a generous amount... and Emily didn't mind. She would sleepily exit the room, headed off for home, the shower and a warm bed. Aye... so sleepy.
