With that, the fight had ended. Yahto was struggling back up to his feet after landing hard beside John. That last stunt, using Body Flicker to speed up not only his body but his mental processes, had nearly drained him of every iota of strength and Qi at his disposal. Just as he predicted, he was definitely feeling it now. But even so, despite the aches of his body and the weariness of his spirit, Yahto was still able to smile in the way he always did. Smug, a little overconfident, and cunning. Just like a rogue wolf. "Well, you kept giving me a reason to." Yahto laughed, although it was quickly cut short as a sudden burst of pain lanced up his side and made him clutch at his abdomen a little comically.
But even so, another smaller chuckle soon followed as Yahto started to walk (more like hobble) side by side with John toward the Nurse's Office. "But yeah... Seeing the nurse sounds mighty good. Hopefully she's not a crazy old lady with penchant for big needles." After seeing the people in this school so far, who knew if that was the case?
All in all, Yahto was feeling good about how the fight had gone. If John Ong was one of the toughest people in this place, then Yahto believed he would be having plenty more opportunities to have some fun and get stronger. Who knew how many more adventures he'd be having in the future. But there was still one thing that was bugging the boy deep in the back of his mind. The look John had given him just before Yahto sent him crashing into the concrete below with that final punch. He could still see the crater left over from where John had hit, which was roughly three or four feet in diameter and two to three inches deep. Such a blow would've left the Fang Academy's strongest kung fu student a bloody mess for the better part of a month, but this white haired guy had not only let it happen when he could've defended himself, but then got up from it like it was hardly a big deal. The boy's eyes narrowed in thought as he cast a brief sidelong glance at John. "Is everyone here that tough?" he thought to himself.
Either way, Yahto knew there was only one way to find out. And he sure as Hell wasn't going to run away from it with his tail tucked between his legs. So with that, Yahto followed John towards the nurses office, his nerves steeled for whatever possible horrors awaited him there. He just hoped there wouldn't be any needles involved.
