 Arcane Academy: Free Mages Alliance is a brand new spin-off board whose story takes place ten years after the storyline of the original Arcane Academy roleplay board, which operated successfully from 2005-2008. It is designed to be appealing to new and returning members alike! Unknown to mundane humans, our planet is home to a hidden second world of magic, with its own nations, societies, and histories. Ten years ago, the free mages of the known world banded together and defended the Earth against an apocalyptic judgment from Heaven itself. Since then, the peoples of the magical world have fallen back into fragmented magipolitical nations, resulting in rampant violence and subtle intrigue. All is not lost, for a prophecy tells of the coming of a new generation of mages that will heal the world's wounds and defend it from new impending disasters. That generation is YOU. The Arcane Academy is the greatest center of magical learning and power anywhere. It is situated in the Floating City of Babylos, a refuge for all magical-kind. It has sent out agents to find those strong in magical potential whom are invited to enter its ranks, where they will be taught the ways of magic and will be given missions that will test their skills beyond imaginable limits. Answer the call, and fulfill your true potential! Some key features of the board include, but are not limited to: - Unrivaled freedom in character creation and design
- Fair, simple, and unrestrictive stat system
- A welcoming community open to anyone
- Epic storyline events and missions that directly involve your character in the happenings that affect the fates of all life
- Ample opportunity for your character to be a part of friendships, rivalries, relationships, and sparring
- Active and helpful staff whose sole objective is to create an immersive roleplay experience
- As your character rises through the post count-based ranking system, you will be given greater responsibilities in missions and may even gain the opportunity to teach classes to newer mages
- Transfer characters from the old Arcane Academy are immediately given a rank 2 levels higher than their rank on the original board, as well as some other bonuses.

Hells yeah! Believe me, the events and storyline will be well worth it. We're kinda floundering for active members at the moment...people are shy about starting without many people to play with. C'mon over!

xD; Understandable. Talking to the girl who used to be a cashier and once handed someone their receipt and went "HELLO!". Christ, 8.5 hours of work and I'm dead.
But, hey. I like the looks of the guild, and I think I have a pretty good character idea.
