Sending Soldiers To War "yea? what would that be?" "Von more possible outcome." The German would say with a soft smile. Almost admiringly... as if sudden feeling of relief had come over him. There was dedication in his opponent's movements. Nodding, acknowledging the move, he checked out his own defenses. In fact, this really did seem like a war... All his pawns, all his soldiers were on the march for war. In turn, all the general stood back, watching, making sure all the maneuvers were covered. Every piece was valuable. Every piece provided one more bit of pressure, one more bit of morale for his own forces. Perhaps weak, but there was ever always strength in numbers."My question to you iz... are you avare of zis school's situation?" Fingers going, playing with bits and pieces. Daring to think of possibly using the knight, even petting upon one of its ears, before changing his mind again. Eye flicking back and forth, in turn to see his opponent's offenses. This was a war of self-preservation. Already, they were working towards the end of the beginning play, the foreplay of combat, the preparation. The skirmish had failed, but the cannons kept their sites on his encampments. However, his soldiers were checked in all flanks, and all forces were rushing forward."Ze scenario vith ze Enforcers..."Pawn A7 to A6. A small move, but already, a massive amount of 'small moves' had broken down the damn, and forced through into a waterfall of men, on the verge of spearing through one another."The state of desparity zat ze Student Hierarchy is currently... in my views, in."He hoped to draw upon why, in all the previous exchanges, why he had begun talking about various bits of philosophies and politics. To show a full circle that he was not just some person who enjoyed to think... but who took pride in his ability to observe. And in this... react.
But... there was always the chance. The chink in his 'armor' that he could not see, his confidence possibly blinding him. No, he made sure to ground himself slightly. While it was not the sole passionate and skillful abilities of the soldiers that won wars alone, neither was it the coolheaded abilities of the leaders. It was the mixture of the two that would prove most efficient, most flexible, and most lethal.
His eye looked up.

(OCC: k just modified my move made an oopsy lolz)
"I've heard but whispers of such things" Gabriel replied silently
he noticed the slow advance of his opponents pawns upon doorsteps of his army and didn't like the fact that he was being pushed back he swiftly moved his knight to E2 fromG1 he would push his adversary back if it meant fighting piece for piece he had to spread his forces out to allow a greater berth to roam.

Beginning The Offensive "I've heard but whispers of such things" A smile...
...Filled with nostalgic disgust."This school as you zeen in zis state now is the culmination of the beginning of approximately a year ago."His hand moved, from pawn, to pawn, to pawn---to the king and queen. Holding them up, as examples, he pointedly put down the queen back in its original place. The king however..."Let'z review. In Public High School's, funded by ze government today, ve have replaced suspensionz und expulsionz vith corporal punishment. Enforcing zat... iz ze School Captain." holding up the King admiringly, he put it back down in its place. Waving his hands towards all the Rooks, the Knights, the Bishops, the Queen, and of course the King. "Ze School Captain picks out his or her comrades, eizer as trustworthy or as strong, and thus administer corporal punishment, based on their presumed 'good judgment'."
"But vat happenz... if zey are veak?"The tint of venom in his voice that suddenly flowed into his voice quickly sank back, as his first forefingers toyed with the King, holding onto cross of its head. Up and down, in a diagonal standing, almost as if deciding whether or not to forfeit. "Ze School Supervisor zaw zat zis vas not enough. Zo he created a competitive 'Student Hierarchy' to provide zome... 'incentive'. Generally harsher, ze School Hall Correctional Police vas a gut idea... but very little people showed interest in it, except as obtaining a carbon copy rank of some zort of 'lesser Pillarship'. Inherently, zis failed, not due to design, but due to poor selectionz... zo ze Supervisor hired up ze 'Enforcers'... which vas basically ze adult version you zee today."
"Zen, ze King died."Flat, but fingers still on it, he erected the King again, looking at it with a bit of... something. His eye almost sad, face still stony, but it quickly hardened again, as he tapped a bit harshly on the head of the Queen.
Oh... right. He was supposed to make a move. Looking down at the chessboard again, he saw that this was getting rather interesting. A weaker smile, he moved up his pawn. No culmination of the symbolism of this. Got too far wrapped up in the little 'story', so far as he knew.Chess Plays:White | Black | e4 | e5 | Bc4 | f6 | d4 | d6 | Qh5 | g6 | Qh4 | a6 | Kte2 | b5 |

OOC: THANKS FOR WAITING UP FOR ME, GUYS XD jerks. Jk~.
Delilah blinked. Choco...whosanow? It took her a moment to register that he was talking about her chocobo obsessed boyfriend. "You call him that?" she brought a hand to her forehead and laughed softly. "That little weirdo...first the bedroom cosplay, now the revival of the final fantasy chicken." she shook her head, smiling a little, and shook the hand of Gabriel. "Nice to meet you. I'm Delilah." she replied with another smile, though her eyes were drifting to teh chess board. This was starting off well; her own matches with Arim didn't last half this long. Then again, playing chess with her was like pitting David Beckham against a three year old.
Not a pretty picture.
Delilah watched the game in silence for a while, remembering how mad Arim got when Delilah broke her train of thought. Actually that was sorta funny; "LALA! >__________O", she would scream, as the board and a few pieces flew over her head. Well, the damn game frustrated the raven haired girl. She thought a lot better on her feet than she did sitting agonizingly still. She liked to be able to tinker with things to make it better, not slowly worse.
Unbeknownst to the competitors, Delilah was listening (even if it was only selectivly), and only half watching. The conversation played out the game. Gabriel was using the queen far more openly than any of his other peices, and her former emplyer was playing the feild quite nicely. She raised an eyebrow suddenly as impatience began to set in. She wasn't known for it, that's for sure. Like the tattoo of the bird she sported on her left wrist, she had little tolerance for wait. "Any reason you called me here in particular, Mr. Winters?" she piped up suddenly, rocking back and forth in her steel-toe boots as she tried to look patient.

Gabriel, keeping very observant at this point could see he was playing around in th tight spaces he with his high ranking pieces wasn't gaining much ground, at this point his opponent, Mr. Winters as he had caught on from the earlier conversation with Mrs. Black, he noticed her rather impatient stature and decided he better try and finish this quick if she was to put in her two cents as Mr. Winters had already put forward in such a cold tone it would be used to freeze an inhabitant of the frozen North, he caught on to what his opponent was saying and beckoned for more, he heard Delilah say impatiently, "Any reason you called me here in particular, Mr. Winters?"
Gabriel moved his piece to a safe local where he still endangered his opponents troops, bishop from C4 to D5

OOC: Sorry... but this is already going to take a while as it is, due to the 'chess play'. Reason as to why I established no post order, unless it became very important, which it might soon, depending, but... ja. Also, it's very hard to RP as a non-gaming person... >_>;;;Keeping In Check "You call him that?" she brought a hand to her forehead and laughed softly, for the most... understandable reasons. "That little weirdo...first the bedroom cosplay, now the revival of the final fantasy chicken." ...Final Fantasy? The thing with the magic and swords and... whatnot? And the... Ah. Oh. Ohh... So... 'Chocorem' was a... Final Fantasy Chicken? Sorta like one of those Easter Rabbits, made out of chocolate, but... the game version, which, apparently involved poultry instead? >_>... "Nice to meet you. I'm Delilah." she went onto say, as the German thought over this... perhaps a bit more than necessary.
And then they played. And "Unfettered" went on in his 'discussions'., 'til...-"Any reason you called me here in particular, Mr. Winters?"Ah. right. Grinning apologetically, he waved to her one of the nearby chairs, but... she had no issue standing up to this point, and hadn't gotten a seat herself. And except for those who were very (you could say anally) polite, he would've expected her to have gotten the aforementioned chair already, but... oh, hell, if she didn't, she didn't."Ja... it's in regards to your boyfriend becoming part of 'Militia'. I've trust you've heard some of the details from him?"---And then turning to Gabriel, nodding in continuation. "You have to understand... ven Mr. Asiv died, defending ze school from who knows vat, vell... Ve lost most of Faculty-Student relations right zere. Und Mitsuki Park ze School Captain remains one of ze only undefeated pillars, but has become more und more reclusive. Of her three subordinate pillars, though... Max, ze School Newzletter has moved to Texas. Aureus, ze Varsity Captain has become just as reclusive, and has been defeated more vonce, zo not officially, although... as of recently he has become active again. Und... Saint, ze Student Body President, iz, vile a... 'competent' fighter, iz Pillar in title only."The result only implied as to what this would paramount to.
Looking up at the both of them, and then looking down at the chess board... he grimaced. Now the pressure was on. His opponent was adapting much more quickly then before... which added a degree of excitement. "Unfettered" took a good minute. Give or take three. Before carefully, cautiously moving his rook up. For now... for now."...Az you might've both guezzed..." he'd say, as he was puzzling over what to do, "All of zese topics are indeed connected."Rook A8 to A7.
Aye... Looking over at the bishop.

Gabriel then decided it was time to put all his pieces on the move rather than his current 2 generals and 2 pawns, time to push him back. while listening intently upon what Winters was saying noticing a nod from him in Gabriel's direction, he moved his Knight from B1 to A3 time for him to see the full potential! Gabriel kept a nuetral stare still trying to gather what Winters was trying to get at only slightly understanding his impatience for the student hierarchy

Offensive-Defensive Some consideration was being taken into place, as his opponent moved. The generals were getting active. Good... But all the other pieces still did not have any pressure alleviated. It was actually amazing... they were still in the foreplay of the beginning of battle. Much preparation, much time... aye. He was starting to look at his opponent as not just an opponent.
He looked at his own pieces, and nodded. Not everything was going as favorably, as his defenses, while strong, were imperfect, but..."Zerein... don't you zink zat now is ze time for change?"A subtle movement, as he looked at Miss Black. And then over at Gabriel, and moved his pawn from C7 to C6."Zis is, after all, our school, und zerein... our responsibility."Chess Plays:White | Black | e4 | e5 | Bc4 | f6 | d4 | d6 | Qh5 | g6 | Qh4 | a6 | Kte2 | b5 | Bd5 | Ra7 | Ktb3 | c6 |

Gabriel was tired of his troops getting pushed back and the impatience showed slightly in his eyes, he listened to Winters say "Zerein... don't you zink zat now is ze time for change?" "Zis is, after all, our school, und zerein... our responsibility." wondering wheter this Man he faced was an instigator or a rat trying to give away people for conspiring against the Students. he concentrated long and hard, not on his piece movement but what tactful thing he could say next, still unsure of his opponent's position on the matter he couldn't side with one side or the other specifically.
Damm these tight squeezes
he moved Bishop from D5 to G8 "I'm done with playing around time for some blood" the voices in Gabriel's head manifested to say.
"What do you propose to do?" Gabriel remarked inquisitively.

First Blood "What do you propose to do?" ...What his opponent said, and what he did though gave way to flecks of Gabriel's personality. A good liar, perhaps, in his emotions, which was useful in times of war. Good at keeping secrets, perhaps? But this was definetely a move brought on by pressure.
A grin.
Gabriel's impatience was showing... But he would benefit of it the most in this exchange, if he played his cards right. Though, at a cost. Respectfully, his left hand whisked up his own black knight and handed it over, placing it on Gabriel's side. Looking back, and then down, looking at the two pieces, going over what was probably the next two definite moves, he tapped on his rook for a moment. Twice. Three times."As it vas ze responsibility of ze American people to begin to govern zemselves az there own country... Zo must our current Student Hierarchy be replaced with a more efficient und effective von."Like a bird, the bishop flew up into "Unfettered's" hand. ...Who began to grip it forcibly, as if to crush it, looking at it with a feel of endearment."..A call to arms of ze students... A... 'Militia'."Rook to H8 to G8. Bishop taken.

"..A call to arms of ze students... A... 'Militia'." his opponent said
"Militia?" he thought to himself curiously. seeeing his bishop disappear from the table. this guy had balls challenging the hierarchy and possibly the teachers in his attempt to gain control. he didn't know what his opponents intentions were, was he to gain control of the school for himself, a dictator of sorts? wouldn't surprise him as he looked up scornfully at the Nazi insignia on the eyepath. whatever the man was planning it would go on with or without him "Gain his trust, take control, feed your power!" the voices muttered sinisterly in his head, Gabriel shook them off, there is no honor in betrayal. he swiftly moved his pawn from G2 to G4, time to push back. "What do you want of me then?" Gabriel said in a cold, yet submissive voice, staring darkly into Winters' eyes

The True Test---Start "What do you want of me then?" "Unfettered" leaned back, looking at Gabriel. And then up at Enubia who had been standing there quietly. And then back again. He was here to confirm things with her, but if she was that fascinated by the chess game, and the talk of politics... Well, that was fine with him too.
Leaning forward, he looked about. A few last holes to tend to. Grinning warmly, as he looked directly back into the eyes of his opponent. Moving his nose awkwardly, as if it itched, his left hand went to scratch right underneath his eye... Peeling it upward, to look at Gabriel.
Only the sunken eye-socket, and the loose skin of what were his eyelids remained."I vant..."
"...A gut chess game. From you." he finished cryptically.
Flipping his eye-patch back over his 'eye', he moved, without further hesitation, his rook from G8 to H8, creating the focus of the battle on the corner.
Aggro. A tactic used to buy time for the other pieces, divert the attention to the center, and leave the sides open to vulnerability. Yet, it was the center that would create the greatest commotion.
Time to create a decision...
The German wanted to make sure this boy was good---No. He was already good. He wanted to see if the boy was competent for the level he could potentially ask him for. But this would be easy to discern from his 'reply'.
'Have I caught your interest, yet, boy?~' he thought, still grinning.Chess Plays:White | Black | e4 | e5 | Bc4 | f6 | d4 | d6 | Qh5 | g6 | Qh4 | a6 | Kte2 | b5 | Bd5 | Ra7 | Ktb3 | c6 | Bg8 | Rg8 | g4 | Rh8 |

Gabriel's opponent reached up and revealed what lay beneath the eyepath, "a bit unnessasary" Gabriel thought.
"I vant..."
"...A gut chess game. From you." Winters replied.
"what is this? why is he playing head games? imtimidation, foreshadowing of what he's trying to do? Damm him." Gabriel thought angerly.
Winters put his eye patch back down to it's prior resting place. Gabriel saw only one way out of the mess it may sacrifice some troops but it would save his army. Or at least buy him enough time to find out his opponent's cryptic talk. He moved the Bishop from C1 to H6

Time To Get Reckless ...And was shortly retorted by a counter-attack. At first glance, it was an obvious choice... But then...
Bishop from C8 to G4."...Tell me... are you interested in my idea?"...Wondering what Miss Black was doing, just standing there. Reaching towards his own goal, but he felt rude for the lack of conversation that was going on. As Winters moved his bishop he said, "...Tell me... are you interested in my idea?"
Gabriel saw this move and clearly noticed it was far from the best move he could have made, rather reckless a pointless sacrifice it seemed. "Sounds rather reckless to me, but what do I know I just got here?" gabriel replied as his long graceful fingers danced from piece to piece till he grasped his own bishop and strategically looked back over the board, to his surprise in his rush he'd almost missed a key to his opponent's defense, a lone rook in the corner, lying in wait. His hand moved suddenly back to his own rook at H1 and moved it swiftly to G1
