She was about to open her mouth to tell this new comer exactly what she thought when "Unfettered" looked her way, almost warningly. Begrudgingly, Delilah pursed her lips and kept silent. But she wasn't happy about it. Not at all. Instead, she watched the newcomer with cold eyes that disguised her wariness. It was their own fault anyway, talking about this sorta thing in a public place.

"I hope I...erm, didn't bother any of you too badly..." remebering rather quickly how violent this school could be, and how not even saying anything could get one into a tiff, parts of his face where still sore. Then for a moment, one of the three standing in front of him caught his perfect absolute attention. It was the kid from the fight outside who wanted to help satori. For a minute this angered satori the other boy could get in, but not he, but reason caught up to him before any emotion could be shown on his face other than a friendly curiosity.
"I mean, rumors are just words, I thought I heard someone say something of interest, and I'm a nosy, curious sort of person" he said, then turned slightly more jokingly, "one joke about how curiosity killed the cat..." he trailed off with a smile.
"Look, if you really don't want me here, I understand, I wasn't invited" he said, aiming that one more specifically at delilah, whose cold stare did not go unnoticed by satori. "but in the all honest truth, I just want to help... kidnapping is a nasty thing, trust me I have all sorts of experiance with it. When I heard whispers of people being kidnapped... and drugs, and all the like... well, it concerns me... and I thought... maybe if I found out more I could do more..." Satori said, not pathetically, or pleadingly, but simply explaining his views, wondering whether or not they would send him away.

Interrogation: Pleased "I hope I...erm, didn't bother any of you too badly..." Grin.
The German looked on with his single eye, brushing a bit of hair, tucking it behind his ear. Interested."I mean, rumors are just words, I thought I heard someone say something of interest, and I'm a nosy, curious sort of person" And interestingly enough, the boy continued on with a smile of his own. "one joke about how curiosity killed the cat..." Further silence, as the German waited. Not pushing him away, but still watching, carefully...---"Look, if you really don't want me here, I understand, I wasn't invited" "but in the all honest truth, I just want to help... kidnapping is a nasty thing, trust me I have all sorts of experiance with it. When I heard whispers of people being kidnapped... and drugs, and all the like... well, it concerns me... and I thought... maybe if I found out more I could do more..." Experience in the 'kidnapping' issue? There was sincerity, and the way the boy could play with his facial expressions accordingly to reach up to a persuasive level was rather..."Ja... a dear friend of mine was actually among zose zat ver kidnapped. Filipina."Grin. He looked back at the other two, nodding at them, before nodding at the boy, extending a hand of beckoning, of welcoming."Join uz. You may find us as interesting as I find you, as of this moment..."

Gabriel noticed the gestures his new found leader was giving the newcomer, not liking it too much. a snoop is just one step above a snitch. his first thought was not to trust him though he followed "Unfettered's" lead and extended a hand of invitation though drew him in a tad closer so as to size the man up. Gabriel would glare at the guy not in a menicing fashion but a wary one. he would then relinquish and continue to stare down the figure. "Where do we start?" Gabriel asked Unfettered without batting an eye at the newcomer.

Delilah listened to what the new boy had to say and smiled slightly, raising an eyebrow. Well well...this could get interesting. She extended her own hand to the newcomer, nodding politely. She glanced sidelong at "Unfettered", nodding in affirmation to him as well. She was eager to hear where all this was going.

OOC: I'm gonna wrap this up, if you'll allow me to. Satori's gone to South Carolina, I believe, so... Unless you don't like this (in which I can modify), I'll end it on a vague, but detailed note. Rofl.End Of A Very Good Day "Vell, my friends... ve have much to talk about..."Extending out his arm, to gather them all together, he'd walk them towards a tree out in the distance, just still on school grounds. And there, he'd make himself vulnerable on his stance to them, talking about the situation of the Student Hierarchy, and how change needed to occur. The need for better regulation over most of the transfers. And of course... discuss over the kidnap over Emily, and make them an offer to join him in his endeavors for change.
...He didn't know at that time that it was only going to grow to become that much worse...

While everyone was leaving 4, after they had all finished talking a couple hours later. Delilah hung back. She put a hand on "Unfettered'"s shoulder and motioned with her head for him to follow. If he should choose to follow, Delilah would have slowed her pace to match his, hands deep in her pockets as she kept her eyes forwards. She had been meaning to do this for a while.
She lead them a ways away from the school, to a nearby parking lot. She paused and stopped, looking back at "Unfettered". "I'm sorry about..." she waved her hand vaguely "Y'know, leaving you and your restaurant like that. I heard about it burning down and...well, I hope this makes up for it." she took a folded piece of paper out of her pocket and handed it too him. "It's a cheque... she explained, almost unnessecarily. "I hope thats enough to help you to get a new restaurant up and running. If you need any more, just say the word." It wasn't a lot (not to Delilah anyway) but it was something. 1.5 million dollars would be more than enough, at least, she thought so.

Follow The Yellow Brick Road... Because, Because, Because... There was that, here and there. He'd said his fill, explained what he could of the situation. Really though, he was hoping that this would all end up leading to something curiously useful for future reference. But it was a lot to ask for, so he contented himself, seeing everyone off---
A touch.
Quietly, the German looked about, his face solemn, as he found Delilah motioning him towards her, to follow. Getting up from the grass, he quickly began to walk over, noticing as she slowed her pace to match his own. Respectful, and a sudden change of mood and atmosphere. They were not even on the school grounds anymore."I'm sorry about..."Decidedly, he kept quiet as she began, not quite glancing at her, but still keeping in step with her pace."Y'know, leaving you and your restaurant like that. I heard about it burning down and...well, I hope this makes up for it.""Technically, it didn't burn down, it was destroyed und incapacitated beyond mein normal nominal possibe---"His eye widened slightly, as he stopped in mid-sentence, trying to politely dismiss it, in the pretense that she needn't not worry over him. Instead, his eye flickered over to her hand. It was..."It's a cheque..."Grin. "Miss Black, thank you so much for your concern but---ah...""I hope thats enough to help you to get a new restaurant up and running. If you need any more, just say the word.""Unfettered" stopped walking. He had just finished unfolding the check. Had he let himself, he could've fallen hard onto his backside, but he was much more contained then he would've liked. Lips parted from each other, as if to speak, ever so slightly, but nothing came out. Not even a breath, a hint of exasperation. A good few seconds, but his eye caught up to the realization of what she was doing for him. The polite thing to do was no longer to 'decline'. If someone was going to bother giving someone---No, bother wasn't the right word. If someone was going to gift someone with this amount, it meant a number of things. A few things perhaps, but these numbers were where they counted the most.
For the sake of clarity, he could not pretend politeness, or give into greatful breakdown on her, instead... his head slowly turned to look at her. There was no confusion, nor curiosity that he allowed to stick into his eye, nor a sense of watering, greed, or condescension. Emotionless, perhaps, as an empty fish tank, so that she might... 'fill him in'. After al many opportunities to come to understand a person full on with outright justification didn't come often. And the question was simple:l"...Why?"

"...Why?"
Delilah's shoulders rose and fell in a shrug. This was how she had expected him to look, but that didn't stop the wry smile from tugging at her lips. "I don't need nor have a real reason...in all honesty, I got my inheritance and hate having this much money literally lying around...at the same time, I want use to be made out of it. I figure that if I'm going to give it to someone, it should be someone I trust, who will spend it wisely, and who I plan on working with in the future, near or otherwise.' Delilah shrugged again, shuffling her feet a little. "Besides, being in that restaurant gave me the first feeling of being in a close-knit family since my dad died. I haven't felt that way often in my life...I kinda felt like you were a big brother to me," at this, Delilah turned away for a moment, scowling. She so hated showing her emotions so blatantly. "That's all."

Family "I don't need nor have a real reason...in all honesty, I got my inheritance and hate having this much money literally lying around...at the same time, I want use to be made out of it. I figure that if I'm going to give it to someone, it should be someone I trust, who will spend it wisely, and who I plan on working with in the future, near or otherwise.'Delilah struck a chord in the German's head. Lips parted slightly, but he closed after a few moments. A look of bedazzlement taking residence in his eye, as he framed it, looking at her. That was a lot of trust she was putting in him. Granted, there was the fact that she had worked with him. Logic strove to pointing towards a bunch of facts that he didn't mention verbally, lest he bring about some idiotic bragging. But still..."Besides, being in that restaurant gave me the first feeling of being in a close-knit family since my dad died. I haven't felt that way often in my life...I kinda felt like you were a big brother to me,"---There it was. Something struck home, and the German wasn't sure if he liked it or not. Truth be told, he hadn't really given anyone any real thought or feeling, aside from the kindliness that he'd show them. 'Family'. 'A big brother'.
...
He'd need some time to digest this. So engrossed was he, his stare a bit hard, eyebrow raised to show sign of serious analytical thought... Was that...?"That's all.""Großer Bruder, huh...?"Out of force of habit, he slowly slunk his hands into his pockets, as he looked away, hair covering up the side of his face."...Thank you, Delilah. I von't abuse it."No. He wouldn't. He couldn't.
What she said hit something in him that left him wanting. Knew what it was, but he didn't deserve a title like that. At least not yet. Not with what he had planned. After? Maybe... provided she forgave him. But he couldn't show his face to her. Not this face---that reddened slightly from being so pleased.
Only to know that he may have to, in the future, test her boyfriend. Betray this 'trust' she was putting in him and hurt something precious to her.
...Not that he knew that she would get directly involved in that fight, at this time...
..."Iz zer... anything else I can help you with?" he'd start out slowly, mastering himself, turning back to her again, his eye hidden behind a tuft of hair.
He couldn't afford to openly show platonic endearment this early in the game, after all.~

"Großer Bruder, huh...?"
Delilah scowled further, a pink tinge appearing on her cheeks. She didn't have to understand German to understand what he meant. Essentially, what she had done was called herself out on her own emotions, something the mechanic was not only unused to doing, but apparently didn't know how to do properly. Friggn' Oprah. Full of emotional lies.
She watched him out of the corner of her eyes as he watched her, and she felt a twinge of whatever it was the man was thinking. She shifted her gaze at the same time he looked away.
"...Thank you, Delilah. I von't abuse it."
Her eyebrows went up. Abuse what? she thought. The money or her trust? Her thinking of him as family?
All of them?
It was hard to say for sure, but Delilah knew better than to press. Instead, she shrugged again in the most nonchalant way she possibly could. "Don't thank me. It's the least I can do for..." Delilah grimaced; She couldn't say it again. She coughed into her fist instead and brought her hand up to the back of her head in her uncertainty.
"Iz zer... anything else I can help you with?"
Delilah smiled and chuckled quietly, but shook her head, turning back to look at him. She raised her newly pierced eyebrow skeptically. "Absolutely nothing. This is outside of Militia, so you don't have to worry about feeling guilty if something happens to me," At this point Delilah would give "Unfettered" a meaningful and stern look. She meant it. Delilah started towards "Unfettered". "I really want to see your restaurant up and running again." she added. As she passed him on his left, she put a hand on his shoulder. "And I want 259 at peace,"
Patting his shoulder one last time Delilah brushed past him and started walking away. "if there's anything you need, and I mean anything you know how to contact me."

Freed Gratitude "Don't thank me. It's the least I can do for..."Tch. So she did have her cute side to her. Funny, really. Kindness really did come from the most unexpected places. But he remained rather stoic, as he just sort of nodded lightly, as he continued on, before waiting to hear her answer."Absolutely nothing. This is outside of Militia, so you don't have to worry about feeling guilty if something happens to me,"---Which surprised him, yet didn't, if that made sense. As, really, if she really wanted to give him that amount, there must be a very good, or very simple reason for it, and declining it would be an outright insult. Yet, at the same time... really just to help him build back his restaurant? The idea, which he'd already given up on, so long ago, now suddenly, more than a reality, but his future, all over again. He could cook again. He could bake again. This realization hadn't completely dawned on him yet, his emotions not even aware, yet the information was there, logically. Perhaps that was what you'd call 'shock'."And I want 259 at peace,"---Ah. Alright, that was something more tangible (though the idea itself was very hard to attain itself, almost making the tangibility ironic in the face of itself), but it registered a little more clearly with him, at least. They were both obviously trying to play this as coolly as possible, and the German just nodded again at her shrug."if there's anything you need, and I mean anything you know how to contact me.""Ja... Ja. Zat I do."A little smile, as she patted him, brushing him---His hand went out, grabbing her shoulder, just as she was a little behind him. Tightened---then loosened up as it fell away, making sure his face was turned away, because whatever emotion he had on his face, although not bleeding into his voice..."...Danke, Fraulen Black."...
Nodding, as if to himself this time, he began to walk away in the opposite direction.
