And Ally...it's not so bad when you're in a group because your voice doesn't stand out, whereas if you're doing it by yourself...I dunno. Jus' not the same. :| Also, my school's pride and joy is the music/arts department. We have:
Marching Band
Concert Band
Symphonic Band
Wind Ensemble
Jazz Band
Jazz Ensemble
Brass Quintet
MHS Drumline
MHS Combo
Women's Choir
Mixed Choir
Master Singers
Sound FX
Mundelein Sound
Mundelein Lights
And that's just our music department. Our art department, on the other hand...whew... I think it's because all our art teachers are old and wrinkley and have a lot of experience, and know a lot of methods to spark creativity. <3 Whereas our music directors are young and just know how to have fun. @_@~
Edit: And yes, that means our football team SUCKS. I don't know why people still even bother to go to the games when we lose like 0-60. -_-;
Edit II: And yes, I am bragging about my school's awesomeness in music and art.
Edit III: And yes, I do realize our school has no orchestra. XD...
Edit IV: But that's because none of the feeder schools have orchestra, so we don't have enough string/wind instrument musicians.
Edit V (Last one, I swear): Okay, that, and our school is super poor.

thats cool cause at my school we have an amazing choir, orchestra, band, and dram departments yet we spend all our money and advertizment to our football team which has had a record of
1-9 this year, 0-10 last year , and 2-8 the year before , so yea!!!

Our Jazz band takes gold every year at those big high school band things. Nice places too, this year it was in Orlando.
