Emily yawned.
Boy, she had been here for like an hour, where was little miss martyr...?
Well, her "sister-in-law" was an interesting character. Why was she so afraid of conflict? Didn't matter -- Emily didn't really plan for her to be in this, but should she need protection herself she probably had to discern.
What? Emily isn't as uncaring as she sometimes might seem.
She swung happily by the swing, like a child. Waiting for the black-haired girl to come as they had agreed.

Something would ping against the back of Emily's head.
It was a small pebble, light enough to not hurt, but heavy enough to notice. Delilah stood a few feet away, dropping the other few small rocks she'd collected back to the ground. "Ya left yourself open," she said bluntly, as if that explained it. And maybe it would explain it, maybe not. Either way, that wouldn't matter to Delilah; perception is based on opinion, and everybody had one.
She walked forwards, tying back her hair as she approached her boyfriends sister. She retained no anger from their previous encounter; just a kind of lethargy. However, she felt teh familiar unrest rise in the pit of her stomach. This needed to be settled, maybe before things got too out of whack.
Exhaling, Delilah clasped her hands in front of her, maintaining a casual stance. She raised a delicate eyebrow at Emily. "Your move."

QI DISABLED FOR THIS POST. "Ow." Emily skidded the swing to a halt with her feet. Her eyebrows arching as she turned towards Delilah, "You're late."Open or not, Emily didn't care. Punctuality was important. "Your move."The Filipina would definitely stand up and started to walk towards the opposite side of the park, where she would take a casual stance. Her two fans were right on her belt, hanging loosely as they awaited their owner's call. Well, she followed suit and tied her hair up -- better be safe than sorry. After all, tying her hair up was a convenience in battle she'd have to have. =D Well, Emily wasn't really one to pull the first move -- she kinda sucks at that, and she knew it; best that Delilah did the honours~

(Ooc: ....you sly jerk! xD)
The raven haired mechanic shrugged flippantly. "Yeah, late. I was speaking with Mr. Winters...not that that's any business of yours."She replied casually. Delilah frowned as Emily's stance remained stationary. The heck is she doing? I give her the first swing and... It dawned on her then, and a wry smirk curved her lips. The smile was strange, though, more sad more than condescending. "That's kind of ironic...you're apart of a group called 'Militia', but you won't make the first strike." Sighing, Delilah crossed her arms over her abdomen, her hands resting on their opposite hip. "Whatever. That's your perogative, not mine." Delilah's forearms would tense suddenly. "But remember that you're the one who threw that opportunity away, not me."
An instant later, Delilah's arms were flung out to either side of her, then crossed over as she swung her arms ou in front of her. Three pairs of dart and arrow like screw drivers sailed towards Emily with high velocity and at separate angles (four were released with a split second time difference at angles ranging from 20-45 degrees. Only two were released at the same time, released last, and these are headed towards Emily head on), then took off after them, running only a few paces behind her tools. As the filed-to-a-shap-point screwdrivers closed in on Emily, Delilah would snag one out of the air and drop to a partial crouch around 50 metres away from her opponent. She'd dip the screw driver in her left pocket, the deepest out of many, then withdrew it again, pitching the screw driver back at Emily.
However, seven new and silver objects followed the screw driver from said pocket, all neatly joined together at the ends. They were wrenches, all invisibly attached at the ends thanks to a magnetic charge. This was the first time she'd use her Wrench Nunchaku at 259, and the thought made her grin.
Perfoming a one-hand spring, Delilah moved back to her feet and pivoted to Emilys left closing in until the two were only ten feet from eachother. She'd be turning her chain of wrenches around her shoulders and arms as she moved, just to keep the flow going. Whether Emily had dodged all of her screw drivers or not didn't matter to Delilah. She had a lot more up her sleeve than multiple fighting styles.
While Emily was (hopefully) distracted by the hail of differently timed screwdrivers, Delilah would lash out at the fan on the left of Emily's body. If she were already holding the fan to knock aay her screw driver, the whip-like construction would move there. If it was still on her hip, the wrenches would move there in an attempt to disarm Emily on one side.

Why, yes I am a sly jerk. ;D Course. -dancey- and because I'm a jerk, I dunno if I understood your post well enough, so... er... hopefully this post will be okay. By the way this thread is going I suppose it's out of the main story ;P
"Yeah, late. I was speaking with Mr. Winters...not that that's any business of yours."
Emily's eyebrow rose, "Of course it isn't any of my business."
"That's kind of ironic...you're apart of a group called 'Militia', but you won't make the first strike."
"Well-- It's also ironic that I consider myself as someone who prefers not to be one to really do that. Always have been; not planning to change it now."
"Whatever. That's your prerogative, not mine. But remember that you're the one who threw that opportunity away, not me."
It was then when Delilah flung what seemed like "darts" when she realized. "Damn, she's going for magnets. Putya!"
Smart enough to know what the heck was going on and what she was planning (refer to stats), Emily would basically stand on toe and spin violently, creating for herself a vortex of counterclockwise wind. It was done to create enough force to --- pull most, if not all the darts away. Considering the fact that they should be light enough to even travel the distance Delilah planned this out to be, they'd not be likely to hit Emily -- despite a few scratches and minor bumps from the wrenches. For her to throw a heavy enough wrench to cause any significant damage would not be possible -- just how the heck would it be flying through the air like this?
You'd think this was over, when the girl has stopped, only to find yet another dart closing in on her -- including wrenches. How did she find wrenches able to fly through the air like that? Well, the wrenches would hurt the least...
Metallic, Metallic. Aha! Her fan would do the grick. She was reaching for it when her hand basically got hit by the wrenches instead, the wrenches would basically wrapping themselves around her hand, threatening to cut it off as the wrenches locked onto her hand, tangled in all the mess. "You trying to cut my hand off?" Luckily for her, she was protected from the hand up by her Lacrimosa gloves.
Spinning slower than she did usually, she would spin the wrenches around herself until she closed in on Delilah, her foot thrown upwards to reach her face for a kick. Emily was stronger now... and white-haired, anyone notice?
Permanent stats for this thread: Really, I thought I should like keep this like this... cuz... Emily's like getting strong like heck and it'd be unfair if I kept on changing her stats.
Hope it's okay. Don't remember her old stats anymore, so... X__X; Should've done this the post before. -dies-

(( OOC: O.o screwdrivers are actually quite heavy. Pick up a quarter full 473ml glass bottle, and that’s about the weight of one regular one. Wrenches are ESPECIALLY heavy because they’re solid metal, particularly of the iron family. If you don’t believe me, rap yourself on the knuckles with one. O.o Don’t send me the hospital bill. Yes, Emily’s stats are greater than Delilah’s, but that doesn’t make her invulnerable.
The below is an explanation of why it would connect, however, I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt and say it didn’t. There is a way to prevent them from hitting you, but that sure wasn’t it xDD I’m just trying to help you out a bit, and make this fight more worthwhile.))
Emily’s efforts would only serve to make Delilah’s grin widen even further. Most of the smaller screw drivers had missed their target upon the creation counter clockwise wind. However, the two larger ones were still on course, also did not connect. Delilah’s smile only widened. The screw drivers are aeronautically designed to cut through air, though they still maintain their weight, which gives them a bit of drag. This weight, combined with the aerodynamic effect of the screwdriver itself, can cut through wind currents, much as an aeroplane could. However, the wind current shifted each of the two large one’s course, and they would hit the marks they weren’t meant too, just over Emily’s shoulders.
”Hmph.”
She watched as her two of her seven wrenches coiled around Emily’s hand. That hadn’t been her initial intention; all she wanted was to disarm Emily, not snag her. Ah well, no sense in looking a gift horse in the mouth. The loose end of the wrench had attached it’s magnetic head to the middle of the second wrench, which would have the affect of locking Emily’s hand in position. Unless Emily had magnetic powers or could liquefy her limbs, she was virtually stuck until Delilah was forced to release her. When she began spinning towards Delilah, rolling herself in her nunchaku, the mechanic was a bit taken aback. She hadn’t been expecting that. The seven nine inch wrenches gave her weapons length a grand total of sixty-three inches, which was just shy of five feet. She raised an eyebrow as she dipped her free hand into her pocket. Essentially, Emily had trapped herself in her wrench chain, maybe even her other arm, provided she had not moved it so it wouldn’t get caught. Five feet was fairly long, but it had only wrapped around Emily once, which would be the only way possible, considering she was now facing Delilah. Her kick meant that she was at least a two feet away from Delilah. Which was fine; she needed room in order to pull her chain taut and keep Emily bound. However, this served as a problem for Delilah as well; she couldn’t maneuver her wrenches to attack elsewhere, considering she was keeping her in the same position she was in. She was just as stuck as Emily. A stalemate.
A kick came up to Delilah’s head and she pulled her head back. At the same time, her free hand would fly out of her pocket, catching Emily’s heel only an inch from her head. She exhaled, but her smile continued to curve her lips. She held tightly onto Emily’s foot, the angle of her leg preventing her from putting it down. But she had not caught Emily with her bare hands. The hand holding Emily’s foot was gloved. Fingerless gloves that cut off at the base of her hand. She would begin to feel a small heat generating where Delilah held her foot aloft. The friction had made her gloves do what they did best. Ignite.
”You’re the one who challenged me,” she said in a chilly tone that belied the growing heat in the palm of her hand. She began running her hand down, centimeter by centimeter, slowly, letting the fire spread as the flaming gasoline coated it. “You have one chance to concede…before I get serious,” With that said, Delilah suddenly ran her hand down to the start of Emily’s calf, then released it. The gasoline that coated her gloves would be ablaze, and hopefully, the girl was wearing a skirt; It’d hurt more, but skin burns less easily than clothing. And a gasoline fire isn’t something you put out with water or with lots of wind…until Emily put it out, it would continue to spread.
Smiling almost serenely, Delilah would flick her flaming hand at Emily’s head. Sparks of flame would leap off her hand and sail for Emily’s hair, where, if they were to reach, would start burning at her scalp, burning quickly and spreading through her hair. If they were to somehow miss…well, Delilah would like to see that. Emily had trapped herself after all, and would be rather impressed if she had managed to dodge it.
She suddenly gave her nunchaku a mighty tug as she stepped backwards. The effect would hopefully be to spin Emily out of her wrenches, leaving the chain open.
OOC:
Gloves of The Inferno ( I forgot their other name xDDD)
Beginner Level: Default
Power 1: N/A *Locked*
Power 2: N/A *Locked*
Power 3: N/A *Locked*
Wielder receives -12 Strength, -8 Dexterity, -6 Wisdom.
For such a small pair of gloves, the unnecessary weight is in actuality, staggering, and draining. For the fact that even training boxing gloves only weigh half a pound, and normal boxing gloves weigh a full sixteen ounces (one pound), while this is supposedly supposed to both increase damage and protection, the person will have to build a lot of endurance to be able to properly use these gloves properly. Intelligence will be needed, in order so that the person doesn't haphazardly hurt themselves, either by exposing their gloves to too much heat in the sun, or continuously scrapes the studs against their skin, tearing away at it. A fighting spirit will be needed, if the user wants to master the usage of these gloves.
Delilah's at the beginner level x3 my current stats won't reflect my level of gloves, not for this battle, anyway.

...I would've appreciated it if you've left the lecture for PMs, Megan. Well, not like I could do anything about that now... and concerning the fact that I DID do that post late at night, I apologize for it's stupidity. If anything is wrong with my current/future post, PM it to me.
I probably have screwed up everything on this fight. But not gonna give up.
"PUTANG INA!" she'd mentally curse, her move not only failed, but trapped her and led her to a bad set of options. Her foot was stopped and--
...
What the hell is that smell?
*sniff*
”You’re the one who challenged me, you have one chance to concede…before I get serious,”
SHIT.
GASOLINE.
Emily'd know that smell, she carries vials filled with gasoline around her for Hilaga and Timog... and this heat... wasn't a very good sign, it's almost as if-
"AHHHHHHHHHH!"
With no manner of protection on her leg, the ribbon around her legs would catch on fire, the Filipino girl screamed in agony... but held on. There was something she had to prove to herself. Regardless of who won, she would not let it end like THIS.
Desperate, with arms bound and out of much options, Emily would deliberately jump in a manner that she would send her remaining foot upwards towards Delilah's chin. Regardless if it hit her or not, Emily would fall down into the ground, rubbing the little pyre on her leg on the sand on the ground before it would grow on and catch the rest of her clothes on fire... which would be bad. She'd roll away into a safe area to catch her breath. It also kind of helped that Delilah stepped back a bit, pulling the nunchaku away. Well, the kick would probably still hit due to the close proximity (still up to you if it would hit, never the less) but it would basically give Emily a faster spin as she rolled away to safety.
Edited, like you wanted.

Delilah felt the kick collide with her chin before she felt it, the blow causing her to stumble back a couple paces. She had felt her arms want to react, but the gloves were so damn heavy...they restricted her strength and ability to react. the raven haired mechanic touched the underside of her jaw thoughtfully, feeling the pain there. She hadn't had time to activate her Qi either. "Now we're getting somewhere," she murmured quietly, her smile ever spreading.
She joined hands on the part of her chain of wrenches that she was holding. "You react much faster on your toes. Guess I've gotta keep you on them, eh?" She slid her left hand down the chain, spreading the gasoline and the fire to her wrenches. Chuckling quietly, Delilah grabbed the opposite end of the chain and looped it back up to the top making a ring out of her wrenches. Holding her relaxed stance, she began rolling the flaming ring around her extended hand, like a hula-hoop. She nodded at Emily, almost in a companionable way.
Time to get serious, ne?
She let her right leg slide to the right as she crossed her left arm over her body, gripping one of the seven wrenches in her hand. Delilah would whip out the ring of flaming wrenches suddenly, aimed for Emily, but suddenly breaking off and moving around the girl, close enough so that she would feel the heat (if she were standing), but not close enough to hit or burn her. It curved as it moved through the air, ricocheting off play ground equipment with reckless abandon. Delilah watched it's trajectory with her eyes and nodded again. That was doing quite well on it's own, it was.
After she had thrown the flaming ring, Delilah darted forwards, activating her Qi as she moved. She would aim a sweep kick at Emily's legs--She didn't expect this to hit. It was a bluff. Delilah curled her leg inwards before it would have connected with Emily's legs. Of course, if the white haired girl had jumped to avoid her supposed attack, this may have come as a bit of a shock. Whether Emily had jumped or not, Delilah would support herself on her right hand, bringing her lower body up and hand-springing backwards, a few feet away from Emily and back onto her feet.
If the girl was indeed aloft, midair, and whether or not She was, Delilah would shift her body forwards and lash out with her open palm at her abdomen. However, this too was a bluff.
Turning her body around, Delilah would lift her left leg or a kick at Emily's head as she descended, keeping her right firmly planted on the ground. This, was not a bluff...and neither was the flaming circle of wrenches headed for Emily. She had thrown it past her for a reason; the trajectory she had thrown the wrenches at had caused a chain reaction; while most of the playground equipment was on fire now, the angle Delilah had wanted had been attained. After bouncing off the side of the slide, the wrenches were headed directly for the back of Emily's head.

As Delilah was recovering from that attack of hers, she would quickly stand up, cooling down her hand with her own Qi. "Now we're getting somewhere,"
Oh, really now?
"You react much faster on your toes. Guess I've gotta keep you on them, eh?"
The stench of gasoline reeked in the air as the flaming ring of wrenches went on and spun around Delilah's hand like a hula hoop before she threw it onto her general direction. Meh, 'come what may' was Emily's policy at how things are doing now.
The wrenches weren't aimed at her.... well, at least, just yet. Her eyes were fixed on Delilah, and of course... noted that something was wrong on the way she threw it, hence the realization why it wouldn't hit. However... they were all burning.
She had to be very careful. But--
Ugh. The stench.
Her fans were gripped tightly, one at each hand. Delilah rushed towards her and aimed for a sweep kick at her leg. Emily other foot was still hurting -- jumping wouldn't be a good idea. Taking whatever luck she had, she lifted her foot and aimed a stomp at the approaching leg. Of course, she didn't know it was supposed to be a bluff.
Weight pulled onto the leg (that is, if it hit), Emily would pin Delilah on that uncomfortable position before aiming the sides of her close up fans at her temples with great force. The target was to create minor, if not temporary trauma, on Delilah's brain. The force would be enough to shock her into a state of confusion (inability to discern left from right due to the proximity to Wernicke's area) and probably a slight problem with hearing (with the shock to the Primary Auditory complex).
Well of course, only temporary. It takes more than a hit like that to screw someone's senses over forever due to the shielding of the skull, but it was enough to do some temporary damage.
The clanging of the ring of wrenches would disappear though, and she'd notice that a bit late into her assault on Delilah. Her right hand pulled out as soon as it hit Delilah's temple-- and swung backwards, pivoting her foot to face backwards. Knowing she had done her share of damage to Delilah, and the lack of time... she rolled away to the side, almost hitting the already flaming monkey bars.
She touched her hair, keeping her eyes on Delilah -- several areas were curled up, burnt slightly. "Damn, that was close."
Quality or whatever isn't at 100%, I apologize. >< Stupid stomachache... PM me for any problems.

OOC: D: EY. You were supposed to edit, remember?
It's okay though, x3; I just don't want it to seem unfair to everyone else who doesn't have to wait a month before replying. I have an idea of what to do know though <3
Her feint was interrupted by Emily's foot crashing down on her leg. She hissed, but there was no pain; not yet, anyway. She was pinned by her leg, the stronger part of her body, but she'd been in this situation before...sort of. Everything that would happen next was pure instinct alone, honed by twelve years of ninjitsu.
The moment Emily's fans came at her head, Delilah reacted, bursting into a sudden and eerily high pitched gale of laughter before her hand connected with her temple, Delilah lashed out with her right and would attempt to catch Emily's wrist by making a ring with her middle finger and thumb and tugging her forwards ever so slightly, over her shoulder. By pulling someone forwards while their core (or center of gravity) is unstable, simply because their body moves forwards with the arm (if you want the punch to be effective), you throw off their balance, forcing the opponent to step forwards. While Emily would be in mid-step by that point as she would be thrown forwards (if the catch were to work) and even if she hadn't faltered, the angle of her arm, due to the motion of the punch, would leave the inner side of Emily`s arm open...and her axillary nerve.
With her freeandor Unused hand, Delilah would fire off three rapid strikes on the same spot, first with two fingers, then with a diamond fist (I wish I could explain what that is xD It`s really hard to describe). I fit were to connect, the effect would be that Emily`s whole left side would go numb...or, if Delilah hit it improperly, then she would have struck the axillal artery traveling down the arm, cutting off the flow to her arm, heart and brain for only a few seconds...but long enough to seriously debilitate the enemy. Mistakes such as that have been known to put people into comas or even kill them.
Even if Delilah initial manuevere did not connect, She would instead switch her focus to the pressure point located between the bones of the forefinger and middle finger and the bundle of nerves located just above the pulse, in order to force Emily`s hands open and to drop the fans.
If any of these had freed delilah, she`d immediately do a back roll into her ichi stance, ready for the next strike, still laughing manaically.

>_> I hope I did not screw up again on this post. Otherwise, I really am hopeless. -__-;;; I hope to be able to speak to you on MSN soon. Really. >_<; I'm going insane here...
'Shit.' Emily mentally cursed, as she had been pulled off balance. She knew the tons of opening that she currently has open. There were many possibilities, but Emily knew that she had to stop any, if not all of them.
Her axillary nerve had been hit once, and twice, before Emily would be able to slam the metal sides of her right hand's fan onto Delilah's extended elbow. From there, it could dislocate and/or gain fractures. Should it miss, it would hit the forearm, or the arm.
Regardless if that would miss or not, Emily would pivot herself to fall on her back and catch a glimpse of Delilah do a back roll. With her entire left side slightly numbed, Emily slammed her right foot at the ground, sending a single blade of searing hot wind boomerang towards her.
Should Delilah be rolling still, when it caught her, it would most likely hit her back, most specifically her lumbar area. If it caught her already standing, then it would most likely cut her ankles, giving her great pain and discomfort from walking.
If it missed, it would return akin to a boomerang, and head for a second hit at the same target area and this time wasn't very forgiving. It would head for her achilles tendons and try to sever them.
What? It's only fair now that Emily's other half is numbed.
---and what is a wind boomerang, you ask? Let's say, it's more like a missile with a target. Targeted at one specific thing and won't miss more than once. Though, missing once is usually enough to catch a person off guard and have it hit from behind.
As that went on, Emily fell onto her back and tried to get back on her feet.
Her left side was numb, but it will wake up again -- eventually.
But damn, the pins and needles weren't fun to even think about.
For now, Emily was bound to staying at one spot until she could get moving again.
Hopefully won't be too long from now.

Back rolls are short, non combative rolls, made more to get out of the way and make a short retreat to throw off the enemy then to shift positions. However, such maneuvers are useless against something one cannot see, like a blade of wind. While Emily would have missed hitting Delilah's arm with her steel fans, simply because she rolled backwards, it might throw her off balance again, especially if the punch was meant to do some serious damage. Either way, it wouldn't matter in the long run. Now in her Ichimonji stance, Delilah's manaical laughter was interrupted by a short gasp of pain and a rush of wind. Delilah glanced down at her left boot, the lead; the top halves had been slashed open, and where the wind had struck had begun melting, as the boots were made of a high-grade leather ((this is before the CF I think, so no special stuff for Lilah! These are her original boots.)) The boots had stopped a good majority of the impact, but it had severed a good lot of skin. Her right foot was also afllicted, but it was still movable.
"Ah," was all she said, looking down at her now bleeding leg. She raised her eyebrows then flicked her ice blue eyes up to Emily, the eerie smile still lining her face. "You have one too," She slipped back into her regular, everyday stance, watching Emily without really looking at her. "Well? Don't stop now...keep it coming,"

"Ah," Emily looked up as she pulled herself up by the knees with her hands. Well, her other side was a little limp... but not moving them did more harm so Emily moved them regardless.
After all, she was already more or less recovered from that temporary paralysis -- but for now it was temporary limited movement versus painful walking. If it was painful for Delilah, anyways. "You have one too," Her eyebrows raised, more or less intrigued why Delilah wasn't attacking despite she could. "Well? Don't stop now...keep it coming,"
"Hahaha!" Emily laughed, her eyes also on Delilah, albeit a lot more crucial on the details. "I'd do so, if I wasn't waiting for my other half to wake up."
With a notable vein causing bleeding for Delilah, Emily would think that she might be feeling a little woozy due to the continuous loss of blood.
This was a stare off -- or at least, for the moment.
Correct me about the bleeding part, if that was not what you meant and all. One more post before Emily's other half recovers from temporary paralysis!
