David was in trouble.
He had been here for only a few days, actually enjoying himself at school for once in his life, when a boy, Eric, had noticed him, and began to follow him down a few hallways, out the main entrance, and into the courtyard. He had turned around to the smiling boy, a puzzled look on his face.
"I know you" The kid stated matter-of-factly. He held up a finger at David.
"Your the old Captain of Public High School 809, aren't you?" David looked around at the people, Eric's friends, who were with him. They all stared at him, and David, who had become a chronic liar since arriving here, told yet another. "No, I'm sorry, I've never even heard of the place." The kid wasn't phased. " I remember seeing you at Hollow Point, when the School hierarchy attacked a gathering of students who planned to burn down the school!" David winced, then turned and quickly began to walk off. He didn't want anything to do with his old school, and these kids could mean trouble. He walked into a large building, hunting for a way to escape the kids rants that continued lagging on behind him.
As he walked around another corner, he quickly ducked into a room, the kids passing him by not a few seconds after. He turned around, his eyes closed in relief, then opened them to find himself...in the school library. Taking a few glances around, some students stared at him for entering the way he did, then returned they're eyes to they're books. David decided to wait in here for a while, and catch up on some much needed reading time he had during a class that he chose not to attend. Going to math class in which the teacher never showed wasn't exactly the way he wanted to spend his mornings, after all.
He took a seat, grabbing up the first book he saw and opening it to page one.
"The last of the Mohican's. Sounds interesting" He said to himself, and began to read.

Ranzou was browsing around the library, looking for some books that caught his interest. He grabbed three (which he was surprised to find), and started to walk toward any open seat. There was one, but as he headed to it, someone else sat down and grabbed a book. Fine, I'll just have to sit opposite of that guy, Ranzou thought. As he walked past him, he took a glance at what the kid was reading; The Last of the Mohicans.
"Don't read that," Ranzou said. He really had no concrete reason why the guy shouldn't, except that it was a movie. "Try one of these." He tossed two books infront of the guy, one being The Art of War by Sun Tzu, and the other was The Book of Five Rings by Miyamoto Musashi. Ranzou sat down and opened the third book, Snakeskin Shamisen by Hirahara Naomi.

"Japanese literature..." Satori said, a hint of a smile, as he walked by. "last I checked this was america, he should read as he pleases, even if its not by someone japanese." He looked at the book of five rings for a moment. "I must say, that is a good book though, I read it while taking fencing, very different styles of course, but swordsmanship is swordsmanship, and musashi did swordsmanship very well" Satori said.
Satori suddenly caught on to how rude he must be being
"now, before you hate me, or I do anything else too rude, which I extend apologies for, I am Precepio Satori, but I prefer it if you call me Satori" he said, holding out his hand for a shake. "if I'm not mistaken, calling people by their last names in japan is very common isn't it?" he asked curiously.
whether ranzou shook his hand or not, Satori was already about to extend the same gesture of introduction to David.
Way to make an impression, Stupido he thought to himself

OOC(( i am very sorry for the long wait. Was dealing with the explanation thread before i continued this one. Ill try to keep up on the posts from now on.))
David looked up as the books the boy tossed down landed right on the table in front of his. He gave an interested expression, closing the cover of the current one he had been reading and setting it off to the side as he reached down and took The Art of War, looking up at the fellow as he did so.
"Why, thank you. Its greatly appreciated." He was just about to open the book and read when another kid came over. He thought it funny that within the first five minutes of being within the library, he had already gotten a couple of kids to come over and try to befriend him in different way. The one who threw down the book was trying to befriend him by offering better reading material, and the other kid was trying to befriend him by saying he was allowed to read whatever he felt like reading. Sure, it was a little rude, but he guessed he was trying to "stick up" for him, after a fashion.
He would hold out his hand after they shook hands, and take the hand of the boy called satori, offering a small smile.
"David Blaze. Pleased to meet you satori." He leaned back, looking from one kid to the other.
"Well, you two sure seem to know alot about books. Got anything else to do around this school? I'm fairly knew and find I'm bored as hell more often than not." He would need some friends in the months to come, and these guys seemed as good as any.

(OOC: no biggie, you do as you do)
Satori quickly took a seat as well, taking out a book of poetry by robert frost.
"Well, you two sure seem to know alot about books. Got anything else to do around this school? I'm fairly knew and find I'm bored as hell more often than not."
Satori thought about his question for a moment or two. "Books are easy, you just have to hate t.v. as for what to do at this school, I'm as lost as you are.... I only arrived a short while ago and all I've learned there is to do at this school is to fight and get yourself into trouble with the current rumors... like the abductions and what-not" Satori said fairly non-chalantly, though he seemed to have some emphasis on the abductions, and his new york italian accent made his sentance seem story-like.
"so how about you? you're new, where do you come from... and what have you learned to do at this school?" Satori asked curiously
Satori's eyes shone, he was happy to be making a friend who didn't want to fight him...yet, and an outsider like him too, this was going swimmingly.

(OOC- Sorry about not posting. I've been travelling, so I haven't had much time to get on this.)
Ranzou looked as one guy introduced himself as David Blaze, and the other as Satori. He just looked at Satori over the top of his book, not really ignoring the offered hand, but just too lazy to get up and shake it. He was, however, just pleased that someone was actually about to read a book he had recommended.
"Well, you two sure seem to know alot about books. Got anything else to do around this school? I'm fairly knew and find I'm bored as hell more often than not."

"Well," Ranzou began, "I'm not usually here. I mostly roam around the city playing my shamisen, just to see how much money I can get. The school's pretty boring, but the city can be interesting."
"so how about you? you're new, where do you come from... and what have you learned to do at this school?"
Ranzou knew that the question wasn't directed toward him, but he surpressed a small urge to give his answer to it... Not like it mattered though. Now, he just wanted to hear David's answer.

David sighed.
"Day after day goes by with me making more and more enemies. I haven't had the time to look for things to do, been to busy keeping out of trouble." Hence, the reason he was even in the library in the first place. He set the book down, sitting up to peer at the two boys sitting with him. He glanced around, making sure no other ears were listening.
"So, what do you fellas know about this attack on the correctional facility? Anything?"
David had gone to the meeting, but he didn't remember seeing either of them there; then again there was quite a few students in the room and he may have missed them. He had a small well of knowledge from having been there himself, but it was always good to know what ran through the mind of others, as well as learn what ideas they may have had, or what information they may have taken the time to dig up.

Satori's eyes widened for a moment, considering the possibilities of this transfer. "well..." he said hesitantly. "I may or may not know quite a bit, depends how interested you are in helping...and possibly joining a group of sorts..." Satori mentioned. "I'd have to check with some others first, but I do know I'll be apart of it somehow or another.

"Not much... Although, it seems really interesting. It even sounds fun," Ranzou said, looking over the book he was reading. "But I didn't go to the meeting." Ranzou raised his right arm, revealing a bandage that started from his wrist and went to his shoulder. "And my knowledge on that affair is very... minimal." He started to read his book again.

David looked back to satori after his little statement about joining a group. He didn't know exactly what kind of group he was speaking of, whether he was the leader or just another person among the squad, but unless he did happen to be in command of such a group he doubted he would be interested in it. He wasn't sure about this guys goals, or the goals of such a squad, but unless it was for something he deemed appropriate to the reasons he himself might go, he didn't really think anything would come of it.
Still, information about other people going was also useful.
"Really? A group you say? And who does this group consist of?"
His voice was casual, as though he wasn't interested, when in all actuality he was. This was the first real part he might be playing in the story that was beginning to unfold, and it was important to him what might happen to whom. He had been thinking alot lately, about certain things going on around the school- about the hierarchy and the minimal role they had been playing in events. The meeting was the second time he had seen any of the pillars or Capitan's actually doing something, the first time was during a fight with an overly violent transfer, which had ended in both sides dispersing with no clear winner.
Maybe he would need to get involved to a larger scale than he would have thought.
He sighed, and waited for the kids reply as the other boy continued reading his book.
