...Who's Afraid Of Ze Big BAD Volf...? Ha-ah...~
She lowered her hand down to him, kneeling towards him. He grinned in gratitude. Yes. He knew her... it'd been a while since he'd been out, but that didn't mean he hadn't snuck in a few times on ocassion. And its not like he could forget this fiery-tempered girl..."T-Thank y-you...~"A courteous smile, in spite of the pain. Sweating profusely from the stress his body was under... But if he was to escape---"---Y-You s-silly l-little b-bitch."Suddenly pulling her towards him, he'd try to bring her down on him, before she'd have a moment to react, taken advantage of this newfound vulnerability. Like a ground-based tango, his arm would go about her waist, now gripping her hand painfully hard, as his other arm would go about her neck, letting her head rest on his left shoulder. To further immobilize her, he'd get one of his left leg in front of hers, and wrap it in front and behind her ankle, before rolling so that he would be on top. Thus, her neck would then be at a painful angle. Easy to snap his left bicep up, and break her neck, as he'd push his right knee onto her back, painfully, as a means of further leverage.
...Provided that worked, of course. And if it did, he would not smile, but look at Rem Aoyama with a look of ice. Complete, and profound. Impenetrable. Ruthless... Uncaring.
If it did not work, however, he'd have to try to wrestle her about in some other way... But he would not waste his breath on anything dramatic.
A test, to see what of "Unfettered's" judgement of both this man and this woman.

"T-Thank y-you...~"
Delilah shrugged in response as he took her hand, but she felt herself smile a little.
"---Y-You s-silly l-little b-bitch."
Her eyes widened within that instant. The moment she heard him speaking quietly, before he had even reached the word 'bitch', her free hand had come flying out of nowhere, balled into a fist, made to collide with the side of his head. Whether it did or didn't, Delilah's position would have been changed tremendously, and she found herself with Winters' arm around her head and his knee in her back. The arm she had offered to him was held away from her body in his tight, viselike grip. She struggled against it, her hand clenching and unclenching while the other tugged at his arm. She activated her Qi, putting the maximum amount of protection around her neck area, to try and prevent anything bad from happening. All she could so was keep her eyes locked with Rem, apologizing with them and warning him not to be rash.

Delilah!?
What was his girlfriend doing here!? Rem had never thought there would ever be a time he'd wish to not have Delilah near him, but there's a first time for everything right? What if Thrush got his hands on her!? Rem had total confidence in his girlfriend, but this was a totally volatile situation. He wasn't even sure he could take this guy down -though he thoroughly hoped the last blow had done the trick-. When the German next spoke, however, Rem eased up and took a massive sigh of relief. It was finally over. Blood trickled down his face and over his lips to his chin from his broken nose. His eyes had were still bloodshot, but his facial expression was that of relief.
He cast his eyes downwards as Delilah helped the boss up, but they darted right back up and widened in genuine surprise as the man pulled his girlfriend into a headlock. The man's cold, uncaring eyes bore into his.
"Lilah-chan!"
He moved a few feet towards them but stopped short as the man tightened his grip on the girl's neck. Rem's heart fluttered. He had Delilah. He wouldn't dare risk her life. He backed away, feeling the most helpless he'd ever felt in his entire life. He raised his hands in submission, staring back and forth at Unfettered's eyes pleadingly and worriedly into Delilah's.
"Hey, man...let her go alright... I give... don't hurt her!"

Lightning Storm In A Winter's Blizzard "Lilah-chan!"*WHACK*
...The taste of blood...
Regardless. He had her. Spitting out the excess of his cut gums, his cool eyes laid down to make sure his work was complete, absolute, even as his body scorched from the inside out. Staring without a sense of caring at this... 'Chocorem' that "Unfettered" had summoned forth. His eye widened a bit, as he sensed a sudden feeling of power---No. After a moment, he dismissed it, and, even with the blood on his body soaking out, he only gave a slow intake of breath, as if to sigh. As if this all bored him greatly.
With a sharp look of his eye, he looked as 'Chocorem', the acclaimed champion that... 'he' had picked out, raised his arms, as if to exclaim and expose all weakness, backing away even, the worry obvious in his eyes. Eyes. Plural. Huh... funny. The German was not smiling."Hey, man...let her go alright... I give... don't hurt her!"...
How disappointing."...T-To h-have s-such a-a w-weakpoint... s-so t-troublesome..."A frown. Did he not understand the German's motive?---No, more accurately, "Unfettered's"? A failure of competance, a failure of follow-up, a failure of underestimating the situation---"Y-You s-should n-not b-be s-so q-quick t-to g-give y-yourself a-away."
"Y-You f-fail t-to u-unders-stand t-the s-situation..." he began in perfectly spoken English fluently---If you'd ignore the stuttering---as opposed to his usual German accent he still retained to some degree. Suddenly stomping upward, his arm around Delilah tightened up, as he stood them both up, tugging at her body towards himself, as if to break her neck, or to insure that she was limp like a rag-doll, as he bore his captive fist into his opposing bicep. Simultaneously, he'd use his free leg to trip underneath her leg that was parallel behind his, maintaining the 'behind the ankle and in front of the thigh' technique. Curiously amazing technique.
...And if she tried to fight back... well, she'd best not try. He still had his own trump card left, after all. "...I-I a-am n-not t-trying t-to e-escape... I-I a-am t-trying t-to w-work t-through t-the p-pain. W-Which y-you w-were s-supposed t-to k-knock m-me o-out f-for, t-take m-me d-down a-at f-full p-power, a-as th-the m-man s-stronger th-than "Unfettered". O-Obviously... y-you a-aren't t-taking th-this s-seriously e-enough... A-A s-sign o-of a-a b-bad s-soldier..."In spite of the stutter of his talk, there was a sense of disparity. Or perhaps lack of caring. Completely ambitious, unfettered in his desire to attain his goal. Inside, he knew he couldn't kill this girl without him going berserk on him, but that would still accomplish his current goal. And also remove a potential weakness---If he could lay all the blame on himself, as opposed to "Unfettered", but that would take a terrible amount of time, if at all, to ever accomplish. No. He would have to give the intent then, at least.
But then..."F-Fight, i-if y-you w-want h-her t-to l-live."His soul, his muscles, his nerves... everything was on fire. He was dying, he knew it, and there was only one way to even give him a chance to survive."O-Outwit m-me, i-if y-you d-don't w-want h-her t-to e-end u-up a-a p-paraplegic."---There was no way in which he could hold back. For all three of their sakes. A sense of rest, being defeated by someone with a sense of honor. No more nutcrusher-attacks. No more sperm flailing. He raised up his free arm, his fist, as he moved his bicep painfully to her shoulder, as if to crush her, as he jumped up, suddenly putting his weight on her lightly, before stomping on the ground, raising up several pieces of the floor's wood boards towards him, surrounding the two of them, as he landed back down."...Y-You're g-going t-to h-have t-to t-try t-to k-kill m-me, i-if y-you w-want t-to s-succeed."Ironically, he had always desired, a training session with his fellow comrades. Only, "Unfettered" took over, and would be the one to start Militia. This, however, would hopefully provide a very necessary, very prudent lesson to Chocorem---Was he fit to be in Militia? Could he surpass his own fears of the death, the murder of his precious woman, and still be able to carry on, to fight without hesitation?
...Without hesitation...
Tch. He didn't have much time. He was slowly but surely dying, the blood, the life force leaving him..."C-COME, I-IF Y-YOU W-WANT E-EVEN A-A G-GLIMMER O-OF H-HOPE O-OF S-SAVING Y-YOUR S-SISTER."~
*CRACKCRACKCRACKCRACKCRACK*
Utilizing his height, he leaned on his entangling leg, sweeping with his core leg, cutting the floorboards in front of him in half, before landing it back down to stabilize himself, moving back a moment, before his free arm, raised up, wound up suddenly and began punching at a ferocious rate, catching every floorboard by its small, punching all the floorboards towards Rem, as his own Qi suddenly activated.
...And with a tinge of ice, the floorboards became all that more dangerous. For, if broken, they'd shatter like glass.
Leaving Chocorem to cope with that, he'd use his core leg to kick out the other floorboards, swirling himself and Delilah around, as he cleared a path, jumping up with her in tow, his grip on her tightening, freezing, sticking her to him, as his blood crusted, hardened, making them stick to each other, landing with force to raise up more floorboards, and begin his tactic again.
Time for hell, Chocorem.

Delilah continued to struggle against her captor, her mind reeling as she tried to think of a way out. He suddenly drew her up into a standing position, pulling her body closer to his, and she hissed in pain. The hand clutching Winters' arm was tugging more forcefully now, even though she was powerless to move her lower body. She grit her teeth as her body only pushed against his force...she hated being the damsel in distress, or so to speak.
While he was talking, Delilah looked at Rem with serious eyes, mouthing "Do it" again and again. She and Rem had talked about this sort of situation happening before, when he initially joined Militia. They had agreed, but both of them were reluctant. Right now, it was a major lose-lose situation for them all; If Winters harmed her, she knew that Rem would probably kill him, or make it so he wished he were dead. She would have done the same. However, if Rem did attack, he would risk hurting Delilah, something he would never dream of doing. Both of them knew that Winters' would not let go.
"F-Fight, i-if y-you w-want h-her t-to l-live. O-Outwit m-me, i-if y-you d-don't w-want h-her t-to e-end u-up a-a p-paraplegic."
He dug his bicep into her shoulder and Delilah cried out.Her reaction was immediate and swift...she never consciously thought about it. Her activated Qi moved part of itself from her neck and conglomerated at her fingernails on the arm she was trying to pull away from her head. The effect would cause her pointed nails to become as hard as diamond and as sharp as a knife point. Digging her nails in, she'd literally claw at his arm with these new found weapons. The same would occur at the tips of Delilah's hair. Sharp, needle-like pinpricks where his skin met her hair.
She gave Rem a knowing look as Winters froze the floor boards and kicked up the shards of ice. He knew what he had to do. Moments later, she was propelled into the air with "Unfettered", finding her back and head much, much colder than the rest of her. She shivered as she flicked her blue eyes to his. She couldn't help but smile. "That was a bad idea," She told him softly, almost casually, despite her desperate situation.

In Rem's panic, he could see the looks Delilah was giving him, and could read what she was mouthing repeatedly with startling accuracy for someone of his attention span. Indeed, they'd talked about this specific situation and what they'd do should it ever happen. However, planning something and actually putting it into motion, especially for something as serious as this. Rem had lost those close to him before, tragically no less. His adoptive parents. Not blood related, but as close as they'd been, that didn't matter. He was not about to lose the one person he held most dear.
"...T-To h-have s-such a-a w-weakpoint... s-so t-troublesome..."
Oh no he didn't. What could've possessed this man to make such a stupid statement? Anyone who knew Rem would be able to tell that there was just one thing that pissed the Japanese youth off as much as someone actually hurting his girlfriend; it was belittling her in his presence.
"Y-You s-should n-not b-be s-so q-quick t-to g-give y-yourself a-away. Y-You f-fail t-to u-unders-stand t-the s-situation.."
Rem's eyes changed in that instant, from panicked to agitated. The boss had basically just told him that Delilah was his weak link, a detriment. Rem's fists tightened, so much so that his fingernails bit into his palms, causing blood to stream through the spaces between his fingers.
"..I-I a-am n-not t-trying t-to e-escape... A-A s-sign o-of a-a b-bad s-soldier..."
Not taking this serious enough? Not taking his girlfriend's life, the one thing in this world he valued over his own, serious?!
"F-Fight, i-if y-you w-want h-her t-to l-live."
"Fight?"
Rem spoke for the first time, though it was a low mumble at best. He grit his teeth and matched Winters' cold stare. Indifference? No. More like pure, seething, unadulterated anger.
"O-Outwit m-me, i-if y-you d-don't w-want h-her t-to e-end u-up a-a p-paraplegic."
"Oi...!"
"...Y-You're g-going t-to h-have t-to t-try t-to k-kill m-me, i-if y-you w-want t-to s-succeed."
"Shut up..."
"C-COME, I-IF Y-YOU W-WANT E-EVEN A-A G-GLIMMER O-OF H-HOPE O-OF S-SAVING Y-YOUR S-SISTER."
"Shut up!!"
There was a change in the air around him, that much Rem could tell; sort of like when Emily changed the temperatures around her. It was getting colder, and soon Rem could see why. He was staring at ice-coated floorboards that were heading straight towards him. His lips curled into a small grin, but the rage in his eyes remained the same, never wavering.
"You think Delilah's making me weak? Weak!? No... My girl's strong, you arrogant punk. A lot stronger than you seem to give her credit for. That strength radiates toward me, pushing me, inspiring me to be stronger..."
Rem rocked his head back and then forward, headbutting the floorboard that came rocketing his way, causing it to shatter and send shards of the stuff flying everywhere. A few of those splinters and shards were lodged into his own forehead, causing blood to flow down his face is small rivulets. His time was almost up, but he couldn't let that get to him now. He had to do the best in the time he had.
"Stronger than I was an hour ago!"
The blow to the head rocked his entire body backwards for a bit, but he recovered in time to catch the second, third, fourth and fifth with wild swipes of his Qi charged arm, cutting each clean in half without shattering them.
"Balmung!!" (Thor's Sword)
He looked up as his opponent launched himself, along with Delilah, into the air. Rem was in motion even before Winters landed, slicing each frosted floorboard as though they were sheets of paper.
"Stronger than I was an minute ago!"
He pushed himself off of the ground in a spring like motion, twisting himself in midair and shooting a Qi-charged leg into the opposite direction.
"Gungnir!!" (Odin's Spear)
The speed at which his leg darted out, caused a large gust of wind to shoot out into the opposite direction. The recoil force of that move propelled the diminutive youth straight towards Winters and Delilah, as though riding with a jetpack of some sort. He let himself fly straight by the two, but re-oriented himself yet again and kicked in the opposite direction, heading back towards them. He was hoping that this unorthodox move would at least confuse his opponent enough to pull himself onto and cling tightly to Winters as he passed, his arms snaking tightly around the man's neck in a sleeper-hold; his legs would wrap around his waist just as tightly. Winters would find this vice-grip would probably rival the one he'd put on Delilah earlier.
"Gleipnir!" (Odin's Bindings)
The other man's ice-cold layers would bite into his own skin mercilessly, but he wouldn't let go. He'd lean in and whisper into Winters' ear.
"Stronger than I was a second ago."
A chuckle. Sparks of electricity would flare up around Rem's body, violently skipping and streaking around him, illuminating the entire area in its eerie glow.
"Raikoubou Kantsuu!!" (Lightning Rod Penetration)
The amount of electricity that would be passing through all three of their bodies would be enough to stun an elephant. Rem didn't know much about his opponent's Qi; he'd never thought to ask. However, it was plain that it involved ice. His Final Fantasy gaming logic kicked in. Fire trumps ice. Grimacing, he'd increase the voltage, causing the electricity to snap, arc and extend to either side of them, as well as over and under, resulting in a massive crucifix-shaped bolt. The electricity would catch the roof, as well as the floorboards, setting them ablaze.
If his initial attempt at grabbing onto Winters had failed, he'd have performed another Gungnir attack to send himself back to his opponent and try it again.

OOC: If you disagree with my mannerism of going about this, let me know, and I'll edit as needed. I've made sure that Jonathan took on extra penalties to his statistics, due to what he does in this, but this is also his way of preserving the restaurant from fire.Flood Of Life "That was a bad idea,""Oh, ja? Really...?"...Tch.
So passionately drawn. There was a lack of methodical thinking. Therein, it dawned on Jonathan the main reason why "Unfettered" had selected this man. A bit of a gamble, but that was fine.---Bleeding swelled at his neck, but the ice froze the blood into place, Delilah's nails digging in, burying itself in the German's blood. But he put up with it, regardless. After all, his tolerance to pain was a resource that was necessary to insure his plan's success. If was the reactions that this... 'Chocorem' was providing him that provided to be ill news. Potential ill news. But not in the same way that one would ordinarily think. Anger. Easy to provoke. But therein, for 'his' intents and plans, useful, as already stated. At any rate:"You think Delilah's making me weak? Weak!? No... My girl's strong, you arrogant punk. A lot stronger than you seem to give her credit for. That strength radiates toward me, pushing me, inspiring me to be stronger..."Impressive. Charging recklessly through, letting the floorboards hit, splinter off of him. Well done. Taking advantage of the 'shotgun' effect, this was more of a means of 'crowd control', anyways, where the ice would splinter off in a wide angle area, after hitting the first target. The lightning attacks kept on coming, as well... Seemed as though there was little in terms of how little these 'special attacks' could be used. Much like the one named 'Cody Travers'. His attacks, blowing away the logs of wood like threshes of wheat were nothing to scoff at either."Stronger than I was an hour ago!"More and more special attacks. A fantastic dazzle of back-and-forth, plowing his way through, like a knight fighting inside a castle. Except there was something very different this time around to this scenario, that made it particularly dangerous."Stronger than I was an minute ago!"More and more. This time even shooting out his leg, using his Qi to shoot him towards them, even as Delilah continued to claw into him, even as the blood frozen up, drawing her in closer to his own body. Ha... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. But the German's eye was ever wary. So many fights, so many losses, so many hardships, accumulative from all the personalities. Was he as strong or as fast? No, heavens, no, but that only served to sharpen his own will. But still... yes. For his plan to work, he practically stood there, waiting for 'Chocorem' to come by and pick him up.---"Stronger than I was a second ago."...Did he just whisper into his ear, trying to sound... well, 'fierce'?
>_>
Leaning his head forward for a quick moment:"...A-Are y-you a-a c-closet h-homo...?"An interesting predicament. Yes, it was much stronger, but it would be harder to bend his ice-covered neck...---But not by much.---
FIRE.
Of all the terrible things that Chocorem could've done to Jonathan, he'd set his goddamned restaurant on fire. But this was not what was running through the German's head the first five seconds. Electricity coursed through his body. But what's more, would course through Delilah's body, especially with her hair and fingernails so engrossed, so covered in his blood, in his neck, in him. Obviously, since 'Chocorem' was the one utilizing his Qi, this electricity wouldn't be as harmful to him---However:
Water.
Funny thing about those little sprinklers on the roof... They tend to rain water, when a massive fire starts up. And most buildings usually implement them because of fire hazard laws, legal mumbo jumbo, etcetera.
Granted, the German's grip on Delilah loosened, but his leg was still around her, and she was in as much shock as he was. And the way she was slowly getting covered in ice, and the way that Chocorem was as well, as they were touching him... The will to win. To defeat thine opponents. And to be given such a hefty weapon, as the water began to sprinkle out the water, and dilute the electricity to the area around them to more harmful, lethal ranges..."U-U-U-U-UUseless..."It was... impressive. Chocorem did become drastically stronger...---HOWEVER. The cold water was instantly put to use.
The whole room drenched room, just as the fires were about to be put out, was slowly covered in ice, quickly spreading like a wildfire, covering a five-foot radius.
And that included Jonathan's water-soaked body as well. There was no other alternative. The boy had given the German what he wanted, though perhaps not in the way that he really desired, but---
Then all the pain hit him.
And everything went blank. Advanced Level:~Heavy Blizzard~ - Breath becomes snowy.

Drenched. Everything was drenched. His body, his clothes, his spirit... The air was thick with steam as the fire he'd started was effectively doused. Rem would be standing, hunched over in the posture of a gorilla, and wavering slightly. He'd let go of his opponent the moment they were about to hit the ground. His usually spiky hair was matted to his scalp as a result of his own blood, and now the water that rained down upon them. Sparks of wild electricity would streak around his body at random. Coming into view here, disappearing there, reappearing somewhere else, etc.
"..."
He was breathing heavily and anyone who could see him now would be able to tell that he was in quite the pathetic state. He was down on his last legs. His time as all but up. And he would fall.
"NO!"
Rem caught himself, quickly placing a foot ahead of his forward/downward moving body to stop his descent. He blinked and shook his head. There was still Delilah. Until she was safe, he couldn't go down. Not yet. And so he stumbled forward, dragging his feet, getting closer and closer to where the boss and Delilah would be. He'd be wary though, still not willing to fall for the same trick twice. What if there were yet another weird personality in there? It had happened in Yu Yu Hakusho. Shinsui had had seven freakin' personas. Wah! I hope this guy doesn't have another five crazy personalities to send at me... Better be safe than sorry.
"L-L...."
Crap, it even hurt to talk now... and his vision was becoming blurred...
"L-Li...Lilah-ch-...Lilah-chan!!! You okay?!"

Delilah smiled as she heard Rem whisper into "Unfettered"'s ear, out of staunch pride and admiration for the Japanese youth. She braced herself, shifting her Qi to minimal protection, letting it coat her whole body. She was filled with calm for one swift moment, knowing her own part in this.
The electrocution was more than she had anticipated. Her hand, clawing into "Unfettered"'s arm, was as much as a direct link for her as it was for him. Her Qi acted as a myelin sheath, the fatty coating of the nerves in the peripheral nervous system. In essence, it amped the electric shock tenfold, and due to the small incisions in "Unfettered"'s body made by her Qi in her nails and hair, the electric shock that affected her, circulated in her body, then poured back into "Unfettered"'s. Delilah created a circuit, using herself as the link.
The pain was excruciating; it took everything she had for her to not cry out. She was waiting, biding her time...
There...
The moment "Unfettered"'s grip slackened, Delilah reacted. She threw her head back into his forehead, steeling the back of her head with maximum protection, mostly for herself. When she felt him go limp behind her, Delilah grabbed her captors arm and wrenched his arm back, behind him. She would plant a knee on his back and push him to the ground, then fall ontop of him, pinning his arms down by the elbow.
Breathing shakily through her steam drenched hair, it's heat didn't faze her. She was cold...so cold. Her red and black hair fell around her face like a curtain. She couldn't stop her arms from shaking...she was still buzzing from the electric charge. She paused for a moment, not sensing any conscious movement beneath her. "Unfettered" was out cold. Delilah rolled off him and sat on the floor, trying to catch her breath. She watched her captor warily, ready to defend herself should he attack again. The likelihood was that he wouldn't though; getting the shit kicked out of you then getting electrocuted would do that to ya.
"L-L...."
Delilah looked up, blue eyes moving through the clouds of steam. Had she heard something? She got to her feet.
"L-Li...Lilah-ch-...Lilah-chan!!! You okay?!"
There was Rem, hobbling through the mist. The mechanics eyes went wide as she looked at his state. "Rem..." Delilah moved forwards towards him, quickening her pace. She grabbed him by the shoulders and looked him up and down, examining him. She grimaced...that stupid Qi of his. Delilah pulled him to her and hugged him tightly, resting her chin on his head. "I'm fine, I'm fine...c'mon, Rem, I'll take you home."Knowing he would probably collapse on her, Delilah released him and turned so his back was facing him. She would drop to a crouch, as her boyfriend fell, so he would fall on her back. Rising slowly, careful to keep her body hunched so she could keep her hands free. She stood before "Unfettered", staring down at him with her hard gaze. Then, she looked around at the now seriously damaged restaurant. "It had been a test," she murmured quietly. She knew that much. "Rem passed...at least, he better have," a wry smile touched her lips, but not her eyes. She looked back at "Unfettered" and sighed. She couldn't leave him here. well, she could but she knew that she would regret it later. Big time.
Stooping, being very careful to not drop Rem, Delilah lifted "Unfettered" up, and into her arms, holding him bridal style. She winced in pain; She was hurting too, but nowhere near as much as these two. Looking around one last time, she started walking. When she passed her bag near the pillar, she snagged it with her foot and kicked it up into the air. Delilah walked under it, catching it on "Unfettered"'s stomach. She raised an eyebrow at the unconscious German. "You deserved that," She muttered darkly.
Walking slowly, pushing the pain out of her mind, Delilah made her way home.
