Thud.
Masaru, facedown at the ground, face cringed, realized that he got data on mostly everything besides intelligence and endurance... a fatal mistake cause as he rolled to kick the guys leg, he now had his back towards the ceiling and Mathew's foot stomping on his back.
(This guy is a beast, I mean I slammed my shin guards to a normally weak spot on the leg, the achilles tendon, but perhaps it did some internal damage? No matter, won't try that again.)
Owch. Masaru thought that this guy would only be a little out of his league since that Sean Barker dude sent this guy to test him out, but this possibly was only to break his spirit, which he didn't have the faintest clue since so far he hasn't even tried to fight back...
Possibly Sean knew that he was consious when they were putting clothes on him and scanning the buildings layout on the way to the cell, and called his facade of playing along, but no matter. Masaru wasn't the kind of guy who stopped fighting even when he knew he had absolutely zero chance of winning... but there was nothing to do as he was face down on the ground, this guy was atleast half again how strong Masaru was, so there was not really any way to get out of this, but since he couldn't see Masaru's face, perhaps Masaru could feign unconsiousness.
As Mathew's foot stomped on Masaru's back, Masaru pretended to make feeble attempts at keeping his consiousness, and then relaxed all his muscles and kept fairly still, even trying to make his breathing not that noticeable.

It was a bad move on the kid's part, Mathew didn't care if the kid was out cold or not. He was going to break the kid, why not? Sean could just heal him with the green drug. So Mathew would have a bit of fun and vent his frustration on how pathetic this fight was if the kid was out cold already. When he was told he was going to be testing kids, he thought he would at least be getting a challenge.
Pressing his foot deeper in to the kid's back Mathew would hold him in place with his foot as he leaned down to pick up the kid's hand. Since Sean could heal wounds overnight he didn't feel any remorse for the kid or Sean. He wouldn't break the kid beyond repair, but he had to vent his disappointment somehow.
His plan once he had the kid's hand in his is he would swiftly pull back on each finger one by one in a sudden jerk to break them. He figured he would kill time until Sean showed up by breaking bones, it was America's fastest growing pass time after all. At least with the school system in the shape it is in.

"Gah!"
Well, this wasn't going on as planned, but Masaru wasn't planning on struggling since if he did he would probably break his back. Pretty much he was pinned and couldnt do much there, so all he could do was lay there as the guy began to break each finger.
"Geez, man... Couldn't you take it a little easy?"
Masaru said sarcastically. He had a high threshold for pain so he could stand several broken bones but if he could avoid it somehow it would be nice... Well, atleast he was getting more data on this guys mental state as he was talking to him, but it was getting harder and harder to concentrate as he felt more and more pain...
((Inside his mind: Even if I can't beat this guy, I have atleast gathered enough data where someone else could have some sort of advantage over him... Hopefully my hand could be repaired eventually, luckily I am abidextrous so as long as one hand is intact I could manage...))

Well it would seem that the kid was awake after all. Not that it mattered, it wasn't a smart move to play dead in a fight. Well maybe it was, but in this situation Mathew was just wanting to hurt someone. He wanted to destroy something beautiful, to cause pain. The kid just happened to give him that chance on a silver platter.
Mathew wouldn't respond to the kid, instead he would just twist one of the broken fingers, it was his way of saying no when he asked if Mathew could take it easy. After all he did have a job to do, and he wanted to fuck this kid up. He hated being disappointed, and thats what this way so far. A giant one.
Once all of the Fingers were broken Mathew would yank up on the kid's shoulder as hard as he could while keeping his foot pressed in to the kid's back. His next goal was to dislocate it, then he would think about moving locations. Maybe he would try and break the kid's back, he did wonder if the green drug could repair him if Mathew paralyzed the kid. It was a theory he was tempted to test out, though he wasn't sure if that was the best idea. If he did and Sean couldn't repair him then it might effect Mathew's ability to roam around, and that would be a pain.

"Ah-AAH! so thats how its going to be...."
Masaru quickly thought up his choices...
A) Take in the pain while making sarcastic comments here and there
B) Play dead yet again, hoping he will stop
C) Struggle, and possibly break more bones
D) Self-Induced coma
Masaru thought the smartest plan was to put himself into a mini-coma. This wasn't as easy as it sounded... First, he had to empty his mind. It is a form of Dim Mak, which he was planning on using on Mathew earlier in the fight if he hadn't totally beat him. He might possibly be able to do it with his open hand that hadn't been broken yet.
Masaru lifted his right(left?) hand four inches above the ground, using this hand, he was planning to put pressure on the right points in his neck to lay himself unconsious, there was an 80% chance on this succeeding unless Mathew tried to stop him.
"Well, since you apparently said no, goodnight then."
Masaru said as he began pushing the pressure points.

Like Mathew was going to stop the kid from hitting his neck or whatever he was doing. When he said good night Mathew would just ignore him pressing down on his back more to make sure he wasn't trying anything funny. If it turned out that he did knock himself out cold Mathew would proceed to grab the second arm and copy what he had done to the first.
If that proved he really was out cold by a lack of reaction Mathew would lift up his foot to kick the kid over on to his back. Once again Mathew was determined to vent his frustration and disappointment. His foot would come down again and again on the boy's chest, he wanted to shatter his ribs before he was done. He didn't know when Sean Barker planned to stop this, but if he didn't he was going to make sure that the man had his work cut out for him, giving him this was a huge disappointment, maybe the kid would be something after Sean's tests but right now Mathew could only look on in disgust.
These were the people that he stepped on to get to the top, normally he didn't even notice people like this. It was a bit insulting that Sean thought so little of him to send him against this. He didn't have high hopes for who the next person to test would be. He would just sigh at the thought that it could be someone weaker then this even.

Masaru was out cold... At least Masaru had an interesting dream
Liu Bei, the fool. He should have taken Liu Zhang captive when they met in order to gain control of the province without bloodshed, but instead he let Liu Zhang return to Chengdu. Now that relations soured between Liu Bei and Liu Zhang, it was up to him to think up strategies... Hmm. Masaru (Pang Tong) looked over his ideas with confidence. The upper, the Middle, and The lower plan.
Upper: choose a few elites from the camp and hurry to Chengdu by night, this can force the unprepared Liu Zhang to surrender immediately;
Middle: fake the news that Liu Bei was retreating to Jing Province, hence lure Liu Zhang's two generals, Yang Huai and Gao Pei, away from their posts when they come to say farewell, then Liu Bei can kill them, take over their castles and armies, and advance to Chengdu;
Lower: retreat to Jing Province and wait for assistance for a fighting return to Yi Province.
As he walked up and set the plans in front of Liu Bei. After minutes of thinking things through, Liu Bei chose the middle plan.
("A wise choice, M'lord")
Masaru said, and made preparations to see this plan through

Well that was.... Interesting. Not really, but still, he got enough data to realize thinking that one of the expiraments he brought in recently would be able to take on one with powers as strong as Mathew. Sean himself would ride the lift down after all was said and done, and walk in towards the two. He would look at Mathew and put his hands in his pockets.
"That was my fault. I hadn't gathered very much data on this one before, and figured you would be able to bring whatever abilities this boy had out of him, but it would seem his interest isn't fighting, more surviving.... If you can call it that. In the meantime, take this."
Sean would then toss a canister of the Green drug to Mathew. And walk over to the broken body of the other fighter. reach his fingers around the boys neck and carry him to the lift. Dropping him on it, he would hit the up button and calmly look at his watch, before hearing a very disturbing CRUNCH!
Looking down with an eye brow raised he would see the boy's leg hanging off the lift being smashed by the upword force.
"Whoops... My bad."
And he would proceed to pull the boys leg through the hole and allow the lift to keep going up. Throwing him in the chair he would hook the kid up to the chair and all his wounds would be healed within seconds.

Mathew would catch the canister with a sigh and a roll of his eyes. Figures that Sean didn't do his fucking homework. Talk about a waste of time. Shaking his head in disappointment and frustration of the colossal waste of time this was Mathew would walk over on to the lift as Sean went to grab the other..... fighter? He wouldn't really call him that, so kid would have to do.
Mathew would fold his arms over his chest ignoring the crunching sound of the kid's leg as it got smashed by the lift. Not even so much as a grin tugged at his lips from the happenstance. Maybe if the kid wasn't out cold, but he couldn't feel the pain now, and he was just gonna get healed anyways.
Stepping off of the lift he would walk over to an empty wall and lean against it as Sean hooked the kid up to his little toys. He would roll his eyes again as he saw the wounds heal up, if Sean was to ask Mathew he would say the kid deserved to feel some pain. Make him motivated to not feel it again, but of course no one asked him.
"So was this all you needed? Or did you want me to beat up a retard next?" He would ask, his tone dripping with venom. It was clear that the Earth Dragon was even less pleased then normal. And that was saying something since most of the time he sounded ready to rip out someone's throat. Now he sounded like he could kill you with a glare, and if he could he probably would. He hated having his time wasted.
