Perhaps bringing your pet secretly on the way to school isn't the best of ideas. Well, at least this was an idea that didn't occur to the teenager until just now. She couldn't leave Aorta at home in the new apartment, from past experiences, she knew that her pet couldn't adapt well in new environments by herself.
So, take her with you. Problem solved...
...Right?
Helter placed her hands at the top of the lockers and pulled her body off for a moment to look at the surface on top. "....Nope" she sighed to herself before releasing her hands and dropping to the ground. The girl turned around and placed one hand on her hip, the other hand stroking her chin thoughtfully.
The new girl was dressed in an unusual attire compared to other students. Her usual hoodie-like top with a skeleton-like pattern with her trademarked bleeding heart, the top cutting off a bit below her chest line. And compared to her usual black capris, she wore acid-wash jeans with holes in the knees, showing her striped stockings, her usually skeletal belt. Oddly enough, no shoes at all, just the stockings on her feet. The girl placed a hand on top of her bright read hair and pulled the large, thick headphones off her ears and around her neck before letting out a disgruntled grunt. "Heeeeeere boy, come on" she quietly cooed, trying to draw in her pet. The girl stalked down the hallways, occasionally bending down to look under tables or bags to see where her pet might be. "What a flipping nuisance....".
Aorta, the 2.5-meter long yellow anaconda was lose in the highschool.

In schools like these there were a lot of people that dressed oddly, Mathew was one of them. Though his clothing was not terribly odd at first glance just a bit off. He was wearing a black Tshirt and blue jeans. Combat boots covered his feet, the steel toes acting as a nasty add on to anyone he kicked. The part that was really odd was the light green trench coat that he wore topping the outfit off. At first it would look just like a normal trench coat, but upon closer inspection one could see that it was thicker then normal. If one was to touch it they would then be able to tell that it was not made of normal material. This was what Mathew called the Earth Dragon's Coat, a protective coat made of a special material and a metallic mesh similar to a bullet proof vest, an item that became his after he had held Tiel's girlfriend hostage back in New York.
Mathew Amtrum, the current Earth Dragon carried his trophy with pride wearing it wherever he went for the most part. Now Mathew was currently patrolling the halls looking for something to do, or someone to beat up, after all he had a reputation to build up here.
As he turned the corner of a random hallway he saw something that made his eyebrows raise up in curiosity. A girl walking through the hallway in an odd outfit. It looked like a skeletal sweatshirt that was cut off showing off part of her stomach. A bleeding heart in the rib cage and bright hair also adding to the uniqueness. However what really caught his eye was the fact that she was cute. And a cute girl was always a good way to kill some time.
Normally Mathew wouldn't even bother finding out what was wrong, but since she was cute he was willing to make an exception. Who knows it may end with him getting a phone number or something. And he did need to get a new collection of girl's phone numbers now that he was in a new city.
"Lose something?" He would ask stating the obvious as he stood at the edge of the hallway with his arms folded over his chest. Leaning on his back foot in a cocky manner as he watched her. Mostly though he was just checking her out.

The girl was grabbing a random unlocked locker to search for a moment before she heard a voice other than her own. Helter pulled her head back to look past the locker door at the male at the other side of the hallway, taking no interest in the fact he saw her open someone else's locker. It was unlocked after all, their fault for being ignorant. The red-head closed the door slowly before turning around to approach the new-found student staring at her.
He had a superior disposition, it showed in his cocky body language.... not that Helter paid much mind to that. People act the way they want to act, it was a fact of life. Besides, she's met far more annoying habits and demeanors, this was far from being the worst one. Besides, he could probably help her.
After coming within a close distance of the boy, she played around with a ring on her pinky finger and nodded. "As a matter of fact, I have" she told him before pulling her arms out as far as they could stretch, fingers pointed out. "I'm looking for my pet snake. Seen a bright yellow anaconda, a bit longer than this anywhere?" she let her hands fall back to her sides before flicking her pale eyes to look down the hallway. "Slithered out of my backpack when I wasn't looking, was on my way to class and he was gone I obviously can't leave him in here, they'll send him to a zoo or some place like that"..

Mathew's lips would twitch in to a small smile when she described what she had lost. Of all the things to lose she lost a giant yellow snake, of course she couldn't have lost something like her cell phone or neckilace. Something quick and easy to find that would score him bonus points. No, it was a fucking giant snake. Talk about lovely.
He would actually laugh at that, not a small chuckle either but a full on laugh. Who the fuck brought an exotic snake to school. Actually that was a question that didn't need to be answered. If this school was anything like PHS #552, which so far it has been exactly like PHS #552 then it wasn't that odd. Mathew was probably one of the more normal people in the school, and that was saying something.
When his laughter was over he would look at her again, letting his eyes scan over her body openly. He didn't care if she knew he was checking her out, he checked out most girls if they were good looking. Now it was time to decide if he even wanted to bother. The effort involved made him want to say no, but the possibility of seeing her without that strange outfit made him want to say yes. Not that he expected anything directly for helping her here. Maybe a phone number or something.
"Hmm I can't say that I have seen it. Though I suppose I take a little bit of time to help you look. What do I get for helping you look? I mean this is a dangerous animal after all isn't it? And like you said it is possible that if we don't find it soon they will take it to a zoo." He would say with a shrug.
He wasn't really expecting much to be honest. Some cash would be good, a kiss or something else also good. Not one of those stupid cheek kisses either. And of course a cell phone number had to be a must.

Helter blinked when the odd boy started to laugh hysterically at her, though she failed to find what was so funny about her snake missing. Her eyebrow raised until he finished and she sighed, she wasn't sure why he kept examining her form so much, she never found herself all that attractive. The red-head starting idly chewing on her lip, of course he wanted sometime in return, she didn't except any less. It wasn't common for people to help out of "the goodness of their hearts" anymore, anyways. Either way, she needed help, she'd been searching for half an hour with no results... perhaps more help would improve the situation a bit.
"Fine..." the girl replied, shoving her hands into her pockets. "I don't know what to give you, you think something up. I just need to find this bloody thing". The girl turned on her heel before stalking down the halls, searching for her pet, she turned around to look at the boy in the trenchcoat.
"It's not dangerous, either... the snake. It's tame, he just gets a bit excited sometimes" after she explained to him, she turned back and bent down to look under a spot in the lockers. "Just for a few hints, he likes warm places, usually cramped.... just hope he's not hungry, I didn't feet him since yesterday night". The red-head stood up again and stepped into an empty classroom, quickly searching to see if anyone was inside. After making sure it was empty, she stepped inside to look.

Mathew wasn't the smartest kid in his classes when it came to things like chemistry and calculus but he was by no means stupid. He knew how to get people to do what he wanted. He was good with people, he was good with words he was good at improvising, and he knew a lot of random facts. One thing that was pretty common knowledge was that snakes were reptiles and that reptiles were cold blooded. He had been in pet stores before and they always had little heating rocks with lights for reptiles to lay on. So his guess would be it would be something like that.
And while he was new to the school he at least knew the land marks and thats where he had an idea for his first guess. And he wasn't even going to be an asshole and keep it to himself since he was getting something.
"Well I wouldn't check in classrooms and lockers then. It's a snake so did you check outside by the fountain? Maybe curled up behind one of the stone benches in the sun? Just a thought since normally reptile cages have heating rocks and whatnot."
He would say with a casual shrug. He could be way off, after all he didn't have a snake, and maybe she checked there first. But it was possible that it moved there if she did? Either way he doubted it would be in a locker if it liked warm places when the sun was out in sunny California.

Helter was already halfway cleaning through the drawers of a cabinet when she turned to look at Mathew, her eyebrows raised. Well, she had to admit, that was a rather clever idea. She had to give him credit, he didn't seem like the clever type, especially for his looks. But looks are deceiving. Helter knew this probably just as well, if not even better, than most. She hadn't been to any Zoos or Pet-stores when she was little, but she did remember seeing many heaters and rocks in cages for the snakes. Helter Skelter almost slapped her forehead for not thinking about it before, how stupid. She was so used to Aorta hiding around her house that she didn't think of him being outside.
The red-head straightened up and walked out of the room, "You're right.... lets head outside". After nodding towards him, she turned around and headed towards one of the thick doors that lead outside. Pressing her hands hard on the metal handles, the door swung open with the force. Helter took a few steps outside before looking up at the sky, no clouds, full sun. Perfect condition for a cold-blooded reptile. The girl stepped across the field, seeming to pay no attention to the rocks and pieces of broken glass she stepped over. The girl's milky eyes searched the grass and area outside the school, ever watchful of her reptile friend. The unusually dressed girl suddenly stopped when she spotted something black on the grass. After blinking for a moment, the red-head approached it and stood over the spot. There, the large snake coiled loosely on top of a large black hoodie left behind on a large rock.
"Ah... so thats where he went"

Mathew would grin triumphantly when they found the snake outside like he had suggested, and on his first try too. He wasn't just a pretty face and awesome ass. He was pretty smart too, even if he wasn't a rocket scientist or something like that. He would walk up to the girl and look down at the snake with a small shake of his head. Why someone would bring something like that to the school was beyond him, thought to be fair he had seen way stranger things in his days at PHS #552. Hell he had done stranger things at PHS #552, but that was besides the point!
"Well, looks like I was pretty close. Not bad for someone that has never had a giant snake as a pet, wouldn't you say?" He would say as he turned his gaze back to the girl. His right hand would move up and through his hair moving out it of the way of his green eyes and he looked at her face pondering for a moment. She said she didn't know what to give him and that he could choose. There were a lot of things that he thought about but he decided that since this was such a small thing he would go small.
"As for my prize. I think a kiss should be more then fair." He would say with a look that dared her to call it unfair.

Helter sighed with relief and bent down to gingerly pick up the pale-coloured reptile and slip it into her backpack. "For christsake, stay there" she told the snake before shutting the pack tightly, making sure this wouldn't happen again. The red-head stood up and wiped her forehead with her wrist, what a first day this had been. Fuck school, she should've just slept in this morning. That wouldn't have sat well with anyone, but she didn't really care about that.
A hand idly scratched the back of her head and she turned to the green-eyed boy. "Yeah, not to bad" she smirked, he was certainly proud of himself, with good reason. She placed her hands on her hips and seemed to wear the same pondering expression as he did.
.... >_>
Right.... reward...
"Alright" she replied, folding her arms across her chest, "Close your eyes, humour me" the girl told him, waiting for him to comply. A smile crossed her lips and she took a step forward, she stood up on her tip-toes and gave him a kiss.
But not the kiss he was expecting.
She placed the small chocolate between his lips and leaned back on her heels. A sly and childish grin tugged at her lips before she folded her arms again, "Didn't think it would be that easy, did you~?" she chirped before turning around and picking up the backpack. "Thank you for helping me find my snake, stupid thing keeps getting out" she growled, looking at the backpack. Her cream eyes looked up again and she winked at him, "I may require your services later on~". A chuckle escaped the girl and she turned on her heels and walked back towards the school.
She was a bit more sly than she looked.

Now this is what I'm talking about.
He would close his eyes following her instructions and he leaned in for the kiss. He was surprised at the kiss the touched his mouth though and he would open his eyes blinking in surprise at he ate the small candy with a laugh. Totally not what he was expecting, but he had to give the girl credit, it was clever. He would have to remember to be a bit more specific next time he did this though. But, it was good to know.
"Well as long as you think you have a reward I want, then just find the Earth Dragon. It won't be hard."
He would say with a wink as she walked away. He wasn't going to follow her. It wasn't his style. She would come to him, he wasn't in to chasing girls.
Damn I don't mind watching her walk away though.
He would think to himself as he watched her walk to the school more then content to watch her go and check her out. Why not right? He was only a man.
