The final bell rung and the classroom halls were storming with children of many different sizes. Large kids, small kids, punked out wild kids and silent yet deadly ones. Being they of different attributes they all loved the same thing. The sound of the last bell ringing. They rushed out the school buildings, destroying and breaking down anything that dared stand in their way from where they were to the bright glowing doors.
Behind them all stood the lonely, quiet boy. Astral Phoenix. He emerged from the rushing children, unharmed amazingly. He adjusted his sunglasses with his index finger and held his backpack strap over his shoulder with his left hand. He slowly walked out of the school building with children everywhere running about. The enevitible fights broke out. Astral simply looked on near the edge of the buildings.
After the students either beat each other senseless or was broken up by some outside force Astral lost interest and started heading out toward the city. He hadn't quite been deturned yet and he didn't feel like heading home. So instead he decided to head out and look around the city he had been so use to. The passing people often filled the day with entertainment.
As he walked along the city streets he enjoyed ripping apart his life within the school walls and the one without. The city wasn't as bad as the schools within them. It was rather intense to see things in the school. It was amazing to see anyone make it out of those schools. Then again Astral shared no mind the the subject. He simply walked along without wandering too hard on it. Then again trying to get Astral not to think about something was a difficult task.
After a few dozen minutes he finally stopped at a large fountain near the center of town. It was a beautiful marble statue that was the resemblence of angels. Unfortunately the beauty of the god like creatures were sprayed with spray paint and scarred with various objects from thugs and punks around town.
Tis a sad fate for the angels, to look down below and watch how their praise has become this.
Astral simply sat down near the fountain edge and rested his head upon one of his palms. He continued to watch people pass and live their lives.

There was always something refreshing about an afternoon. It was the later part of day, not the hot morning, but not quite night. Cooler, but a bit more hustle and bustle at this time of day. It was to be expected in a place like California. The girl stretched her arms over her head and sighed, she had a few errands to do for Delilah before she returned home. Delilah was horrible at shopping, food wasn't an exception. The fridge had been filled with nothing but frozen pizza, soda and Taquitos.
Oi, Delilah. Anything microwaveable was edible to her.
"Alright, so 3 kinds of fruit, some milk, bread, butter, carrots aaaand~ some steak" Arim hummed to herself, her eyes staring at the list. The girl looked around at the city and hung her head, what a confusing place this was. She really longed for her simple life back, but she was contempt with this.
Arim walked past and sat down at the side of a fountain and stared at the note, "Uhm... so if I go... that way? Wait..." she girl bit her bottom lip and looked at the mobs of people passing by. The girl stood up and walked over towards a building, tripping over someone's foot and landing face-first onto pavement. "Oi!" she cried on the impact, holding the note out straight in front of her. The blonde picked up and looked at the person in sunglasses, adjusting her hair and bowing a few times.
"Sorrysorrysorrysorry!!"

The Music was good. Orange and Black headphones would bump, as sound waves shot through them, directly into the left ear of the young man. His left hand would hold over the headphones, holding them up, as the right side hung down the face a bit. He would only smile, and nod his head to the music that was playing in his head. His hair bounced along as he moved his head to the beat, up and down with each note.
He would pick up the presence of the girl, long before she would have touched him. His eyes would have scanned over to his right side, eyeing her a bit. She was rather cute. Be him the one to have such thoughts, when his girlfriend was a few crimes away from being completely dangerous. Regardless he minded very little, as he couldn't help his thoughts. She was pretty.
The girl would walk over, tripping along Astral's, probably big feet. Before she could slam into the ground his right forearm would cover underneath her breast, and hold her up. Putting a little more strength into it he would pick her up, so she could stand on her feet. He only looked at her, and with a small smile, spoke.
"Yo."

The girl's large brown eyes blinked when the her fall had been broken, the dark orbs blinking rabidly before she tried to rebuild her composure (or, what was left of it). The blonde brought a hand to her mouth and cleared her throat before looking back at the spiky-haired young man. "Ah, thank you" she told him with a sheepish smile before pulling up a fist and opening it up. A crumbled piece of paper was in her hand... that was once her grocery list. Arim sighed lightly, her fingers pulling on it lightly to unravel it. The paper was stubbornly resisting her efforts. The girl bit her lips before progressively pulling harder and harder on it, until...
RIP!!!
.....
o__o
There was a greater force that was preventing her from getting groceries, she was sure of it at this point.
The girl put it back together with the best of her effort then remembered the boy with sunglasses in front of her, witnessing all of the incident. "Ah," the girl started before she clutched onto the sides of the paper, "Could you... help me a bit? I'm new to this area, and I seem to be having a hard time finding the market". The blonde couldn't help but feel a bit dismayed by this, everyone else in the house could find their way around the city. Delilah knew well, Rem and Yahto knew pretty well. Damn, even Letz Shake knew, of all people!
Unfortunately, this happens when you've been a forced hermit your whole life. Directionally impaired, and Street-sign illiterate.
The girl turned to look at the crowded streets, "I can assume you're busy, or waiting. If you can even just point me in the right direction, I'll be fine... (I hope)" she told him. He was quite an interesting figure, the hair and sunglasses were the accents of his outfit, not that Arim complained. She liked them.

Astral would watch as the girl's things fell along the ground, as he held her in his arm and lifted her to her feet. He looked down at the stuff, and frowned a bit.
"An unknown force. It couldn't be helped." He would say in a lowly voice, releasing the girl now that she was well on her feet. She looked quite young. Her outfit complimented her body and hair style. Not at all like Astral, whom had the craziest of hair styles, yet the most simple of attire. Not to mention his non matching headphones that he loved so much.
Regardless he wouldn't mind his attire too much, but rather concentrate on her face, which was that of beauty, or so he would say if anyone else would disagree. She seemed lost, thus her asking to be directed to the market. His face would light up and he would smile. He walked around her, taking one of her hands into his own, and throwing his other arm around his shoulders.
"Why of course. I would be pleasured to do so. Its dangerous for a lady such as yourself to be out by herself anyways." He would then begin walking in the direction of the market. The busy streets would serve as his guide. The two would walk away from the fountain. The light from the setting sun would glimmer on it. The sky made the city appear orange.
The two headed down the sidewalks on their way. Astral would take this time to try and speak.
"So, I never caught your name. I'm Astral Phoenix, but you can call me Phoenix. Whats yours?" He spoke politely and calm.
