Patrick parked that beat up excuse for the truck in the parking lot. It was a beat up deal that was the epitome of high school cars. As he left the truck he walked in the halls of the school unamused. It was the same thing that he had seen time and time again. There was sensless violence everywhere. It was pathetic. He could never get past the fact that there was absolutly no point to it. The fights were all just immature fights revolving around the simplistic fact that "I'm better then you" or you look weird so I'm going to hurt you. It was so infuriating, the simple meeknes of it all, the few slightly stronger wimps, sounding out to make thier voices heard. It sickened Patrick.
Patrick, the new student, walked around the school. He wore a Black tanktop that revealed the tips of the wings that were carved into his back. Patrick wore khaki cargo shorts on his legs. His white bandanna that was tied around his head kept his red mane out of his green eyes. Around his hands he wore black fingerless gloves that had the holes on the knuckles. To complement this out fit he wore a sneer the uttered discontent. He decided that heading to the old stand by of ever school was in order. He went the the roof of the school.
To his complete and utter dismay he found a kid getting the crap kicked out by another stronger student. Now normally he would have broken the get for the injustice of it but now this was not the case. The kid was simply bothering him by making the noise of stomping on some kid's gut. Patrick walked up behind the thug and tapped on his shoulder. When the thug turned around Patrick gave him a right cross to the chin, dropping him instantly. The kid was lucky that he was not out cold. Patrick Picked the kid up and held him by his neck, walking to the side of the roof, Dangling the kid over the side. Patrick scoffed, "Yer pathetic."
The Kid's tough guy act was completly gone and he was redused to a begging rambling idiot. THeir were literally tears running down his eyes as he stuttered, "P-p-p-please. but why?"
Patrick gave a low chuckle at the kid's fear, "Why? Because yer so pathetic that your ego demanded that you prove yerself better then this kid. Well that and yer making a scene on an otherwise peaceful roof. I wanted peace and quiet and well yer kinda a problem."
Patrick had changed in the past months. Once upon a time he would have stopped the thug because it was the right thing to do and he would never have held him over the side of the roof. But that Patrick was far gone, not completly perhaps but he had grown cynical, now he could have no qualms in even letting go. Time was fleeting and Patrick had seen too many people close to him die. He had come to realize that everyone else cared only for themselves. And that no one could even be helped due to the corruptness of those in power. So why not look after only himself?
He truly was lost, now more then ever...

On the roof like usual Dylan was leaning down off the edge of the roof watching everyone in the courtyard before this little scene unfolded.
"You say he's pathetic, but I think you are."
Dylan wasn't one to usually try to disrupt fights in the school. He had always thought it was best to let the wanna be thugs think they are tough, then dump them out into the streets and let them learn the hard way they aren't in fact tough. But with what he had just seen Dylan felt he needed to speak up.
"You're guilty of the same things he is. You felt the need to prove you are better than him by dangling him off the roof. Now you're preaching about why you're better. And as for the disturbance the fight was almost done, you just prolonged the disturbance by doing what you are now."
Did all this matter? No. Dylan just hated to see people so high and mighty when it was uncalled for or their reasons for it not making sense. To Dyan it seemed uncalled for in this situation and he felt that he needed to knock him down a few pegs.
"But none of that matters unless you are going to actually drop him..."
Waiting a bit Dylan added.
"... so gonna do it?"

"You say he's pathetic, but I think you are."
"yeah" The Irish boy muttered, inaudibly not even turning to face the newcomer. The truth was he was rather pathetic. But then again in this day an age, who wasn't? Everyone was a hypocrite, going back on their word at some point. So that really had not much effect on him. It really didn't matter to him because the person speaking to him was just as pathetic as he was. Yeah, a very pessimistic outlook on things but what in Patrick's experiences had proved him wrong thus far?
"You're guilty of the same things he is. You felt the need to prove you are better than him by dangling him off the roof. Now you're preaching about why you're better."
"No," Patrick said, acknowledging the presence of the other for the first time in the encounter, "I did it becuase I felt like it. There was no other reason besides that one. And at what point did I say I was better then him?"
The Kid Patrick was holding was shaking. It was the shakes that someone got when some one was very afraid. It was the kind that came uncontrollably to those who had not often been in a situation of life and death. The fear that he felt was paralyzing, suffocating. He did not know if he were going to live or die. He did not know, that is, until Patrick looked him in the eye once more, cold and uncaring.
"But none of that matters unless you are going to actually dr- "
Patrick let go of the kid's neck. The kid's arms shot out to try and catch the ledge. They did and for a brief moment Patrick thought that he would save himself. No, if the kid managed to catch himself Patrick would not have stopped him. The kid swung as one arm caught the ledge of the roof. That made Patrick raise his eyebrows. Unfortunatly the kid's grip waivered and he fell down to the ground. The kid behind Patrick may have seen the kid catch himself at some point but the sound of the kid hitting the ground, a dull thumping sound would explain everything.
Patrick would then turn around and walk to the door like nothing had happened, if unhindered he'd walk down the stairs...

Dylan's eyes got wide as he saw the kid fall and attempt. He was relived when it seemed as though the kid was going to save himself, but he then lost his grip and fell to what was presumably his death. Looking down at the body laying on the courtyard Dylan let out a sigh.
He couldn't help but feel a bit responsible for what had just happened seeing as how he didn't do anything to stop it. On the other hand the kid was just a burden to society and he would of probably died soon anyway. But still... so cold blooded. Killed for no reason and the killer acting like it never happened. Not even running away so he wont be caught. Just walking towards the door.
"You kill someone and now you're gonna leave like nothing happened?"
At this time Dylan would turn around and make his way to the killer's side.
"Now I got another question for you. What are you going to do? Go to class?"

"You kill someone and now you're gonna leave like nothing happened?"
"Why should I care about this one?" Patrick asked implying far darker things. He was implying exactly what the other kid had to be thinking. This was not the first time he had killed, no, not even close. The true number was nearer to the vicinity that lie between on hunderd and fifty to two hundred. The number was very high, maybe too high to be thought reall but it was fairly simple. For about three months he had gone out to kill every night usually averaging around three people a night. So about ninety days of killing three people a night would end up and one hundred and eighty. Naturally after so much killing, killing came as to him as naturally as breathing.
"Now I got another question for you. What are you going to do? Go to class?"
"Pretty much, not much reason to stay here anymore," Patrick said as if bored. Killing someone meant nothing to him. He honestly didn't care anymore. His killing use to mean something, it use to make the world a better place, but now just like everything else. No he didn't go out of his way to kill, most of the time. This actually was the first time he hadn't killed in his former sense of "rightousness". He didn't need violence in his life contrary to what the kid might think. He could stop doing such acts and not feel a thing.
Patrick sighed as he started down the stairs not knowing if the kid would follow. He couldn't deny the fact that after Zea's death he had changed for the worse. He couldn't see any good to society anymore. He couldn't see any reason to help anyone anymore. Everyone was out for themselves. The school's, government's and people in general were selfish in general. His brief travel acroos the country had proved his point. There was no doubt that no one cared a thing about themselves and their ego, maybe that was the reason he had killed the kid. He just didn't know anything anymore...

Why was Dylan about to fight the killer? He killed for no reason. Dylan does not problem with killing if necessary. Whether business or personal. But he still hated people killing for no reason. He had tried to forget about the kid. Write he off as a nobody. But, the killer acting like it was no big deal really got to him.
"Come on killer! You're hard right? Try it again!"
At that point Dylan would through a fast right hook. It wasn't meant to hurt, just to make the killer mad enough to fight.

"I got one. I think I'm better than you and I'm going to prove it."
Patrick stopped right there. He sighed. Another punk trying to prove a point? Regardless he braced himself for the pending attack. He turned to face the Kid bringing his hands up. He drew into a right handed boxer's stance. His left hand was up to his eye level about a foot from his face, his elbow down. His right fist was tucked against his chin, that elbow remained down too. He stood on the balls of his feet he was in a semi crouched position so that his arms could effectivly guard both his face and torso but not so crouched to the point of his chin being out over his knees. His chin was tucked down so that it could not be easily struck. Patrick's feet were about shoulder width apart with his left foot leading the way.
"Come on killer! You're hard right? Try it again!"
Patrick saw the right hook coming from a mile away. With no real intent to hurt It wasn't difficult at all. That was going to cost the kid, big time. With no difficulty Patrick would block the right hook and follow up immediatly with a right cross aimed at the kid's jaw. Patrick's shoulders torqued with the punch thus making it the right cross, the most powerful punch in a boxer's arsenal. If it connected with the kid's jaw and the jaw was open the jaw qould break incredibly easily and if it wasn't one could not take too many shots to the head as the force would casue the person's brain to ricochet of their skull, thus causing the knockout. Also in Patrick's favor was the fact that his opponent was half open thus making a block difficult. Patrick intended to end this fight brutally fast...

Dylan right hook had been blocked and killer was sending a right cross his way. He didn't have enough time to dodge the cross so Dylan put his left hand and arm in the path of the punch while and the same time ducking his head down a little so it would be mostly behind his arm. As the punch hit Dylan's arm it sent it moving back and slapping Dylan on his own head. It didn't feel to good, but it was better than being hit wit the punch straight on.
As soon as his own arm made a connection with his head Dylan threw a uppercut with his right hand. If it connected it would of course send the kid's head backwards. And while he was looking up Dylan would slide his left leg behind the boy's legs and use his left arm to push the boy backwards/down so that'd he'd trip and fall to the ground.

The kid hadn't blocked in the best way that he could but that was to Patrick's benefit as it was almost as good as being hit by the cross. As the kid's uppercut came in Patrick would demonstrate the right way to block a punch. Patrick's left hand, which was back in position from blocking the hook, would come to his chin in its fist, so that the bottem of his palm would take the hit. That was the correct was to block a blow as your own fist would not come back and hit you again with approximatly the same force of the opponents punch, a little less but not much. With this block Patrick was better off as the hand was a buffer, eliminating most of the shot's "lethality". Also with Patrick having his chin already tucked down, making it less of a target the uppercut would more or less roll of his hand. With his mouth closed tight and his stance the uppercut would not have the power to throw Patrick's head up in the violent manner that the kid wanted. His head would remain in its position lifeted a little but still in his fighting position, Patrick's eyes never of his target.
As the kid tried to step in behind him to trip him up he forgot one very critical thing, he left the back door completly open. As he stepped in Patrick would be stepping forward with his right foot to pivot behind the kid. While this was taking place Patrick's left had would have gone forward to meet Patrick's right hand as he stepped around. The hands would connect together in a "Gable grip" where Patrick's left hand would be over top of his right and a perpindicular angle with the fingers holding on to the sides opposite of the thumbs which would have no connection as they would break if resistance was made. The top of the back Patrick's head would be in the kid's left armpit. His chin would be tucked in so that there would be no chance of a chokehold in a scuffle.
Patrick However would not wait for a scuffle as he would jerk forward to keep his opponent of guard before arching back into a suplex which would slam the kid's back into the pavement with quite a bit of force. Would that be wnough to break the kid's will and end the fight? That would not be waited for as if the attack was a success upon contact Patrick would spin to the left on the ground and get onto the kid's chest to the side of him, forming a "T". Patrick's knees would be in tight against his opponent, with his right knee up against the side of his opponent's head and his left knee against his opponenst side under the rib cage. Sternum to sternum contact would be made and Patrick's elbow's would be tucked under his opponent's side, eliminating a great deal of movement for his opponent. This was called side control and it was a very good position for Patrick to be in if he could get there. It was good because with his knees spread apart and against his opponent along with his elbows Patrick had control of the opponent. With all of his wieght on top of his opponents chest the kid would have to support all of Patrick's wiehgt making it tiring even to be in that position and even harder to get out. If Patrick had gotten into this position then the kid's left arm would be trapped. His right arm may vvery well be trapped if he was fast enough in getting his arms over the side of his opponent.
From here Patrick would repeatedly bring his left knee back and slam it into the side of his opponent, in the area where the ribs and diaphraigm connected making breathing and future mobility very hard and painful. Patrick was a very dangerous opponent on the ground and would be relentless in maintaining closeness and position, two key things in any form of grappling...
