(OOC: Apparently, it's not dead yet..Not according to Marianne anyway..)

They were so close..Each of their faces eminating enough to kill a tomato..But still, what was this strange feeling..Cody couldn't help but move thier faces closer..He..He wanted..

He wanted to kiss her..

So close..So close and yet...!

The focus was broken, as Cody cursed himself mentally to not have been quicker..As a form made it's way over Cody's bed, he moved himself back into position, It was someone he'd never seen before. She looked..Odd..

She held that chart of his right up close to her face, Cody raised a brow in confusion to who this was..This was a Doctor he hoped..even though she had..Glasses..On her pocket..

A mental facepalm, was indeed required..

"Mr. Travers, am I correct?"

"..Yes." He replied.

"... so this is your... wife?"

Cody's eyes widened, he didn't know what to say to that! He looked over at Scarlet, who was just as confused as he was. Who the hell was this person?!

..But he didn't say anything.

"Am I disturbing something, ...Mr. and Mrs. Travers?"

Before he could protest, that small, yet irritated voice showed up next to him..

"No. We were not married."

He smiled...So she felt the same way? Although Cody's face was still rather flushed with red, he managed to recompose himself to the question. Letting out a small cough to grab the attention of the..Ahem..Doctor.

"..And..Just who might you be?"

I dunno if I can still hold onto my old HVN title as the "Queen of Ebil and Mush" XD ... used to put Suibaku into tons of Romantic yet torturous hijinks... yeah. Fun times. =D Let's see if I can still handle the crown. >3

"No. We were not married."

A blink. Oh, right! Her glasses!

She put them on promptly. Why, it said 'single'! Ohohoho~ what an unfortunate error. "Oho~ Looks like it. I apologize." She said it with a smile. Looked and sounded genuine enough.

"..And..Just who might you be?" The short-haired blonde woman would walk closer, reading her chart again as to make sure the information she had was as accurate as she believed.

"Why, My name is Layla Serigawa Clavering, Doctor with a double specialty in Surgery and Psychiatry -- Vying for a third, but that does not matter right now~." She put the chart down onto the table, "I'll have to give you a routine check-up right now. Your girlfriend can help, if she wants to stay."

She smiled at Scarlet and placed the diaphragm of of her stethoscope on her palm, warming it up for the procedure. It was then when the bed's head would be raised -- but no one was manipulating the controls!

Such a mysterious woman. Layla slipped a hand behind Cody and supported him as he stood in a way that brought as minimal pain as possible. She looked at Scarlet again. "Would you mind holding Mr. Travers while I check his breathing?"

Well, as that was happening, Scarlet would find that some strange force would be pulling her arms towards the young boy, pulling her dangerously closer to him, as if in an embrace, her arms would wrap itself by his waist, while the gown on Cody was untied at the same time, exposing his entire back to the woman Doctor.

"Do not mind me~. Just continue your previous conversation~." It was then Layla would start. The warmed-up stethoscope would start at the upper right side of Cody's back, "Now, deep breaths~"

[Mr. Kaar]

Just upstairs there was a fierce battle between true warrios. Hard rubber... Lenolium floors. Finger wrenching speed. Thats right mother fucker. It was the annual wheel chair race championship. Here, al the way from New York City New York is their local wheel chair champion looking to score a new title, Leon Sudeki. Armed with his stylish new solar panneled chrome wheeled, death chair. Named Mydemise.

The rest of the contestents look determined to shut this guy down. The white flag everyone gets ready.... There they go, green flag and they are off. What terrifying speeds they are reaching, turn one is already coming up. Another wheel chair pulls up, and the guy in brown hits a button, oh my, wheel spikes! Leon hits a button on Mydemise as the Boyinbrown makes a sharp jut towards him, jumpers hit the floor under the wheel opposite the boyinbrown and he does a side flip over him, the boyinbrown takes another racer and himself out in a tangled heap of cheating.

But the flip put Mydemise out of controle, and out the window goes Sudeki.

Leon flies out the window falling down the side, screaming, passing a window near the current group, but when people go to check the window, the wheel chair explodes on the ground, making people shield their eyes, and Leon is no where to be found. A couple minutes into the race, a yellow wheel chair shows up with a black X for spokes on the tires. He is wearing a black mask with a white X over his face, so he can't be seen. We shall refer to him as Wheel X. He goes out lapped, and ends up the victor, leaving rubble and destruction in his path.

Scarlet blinked. What had the world come too? They were so close. So close. She licked her lips, and listened to the blonde lady talk. A confused and embrassed look appeared on her face. She stood up, and walked to the other side of the bed. She pulled him up gently. Girlfriend?? She blinked. Oh boy. This was not going well. She grabbed his waist and pulled him up. She blinked. What in God's name was she doing? She wasn't sure. It just...happened. She heard things happening outside of the hospital room.

Cody's mouth gaped, even he didn't expect that as a lush form of crimson creeped across his face, it burned. He didn't know what to say. If he tried to say anything he would have looked like an idiot and stuttered everywhere.

"Would you mind holding Mr. Travers while I check his breathing?"

Regardless..A checkup..That didn't sound so bad. Cody's head went up, as he tried to sit straight up..He felt a sudden pair of arms wrap around him..His tired body full of pain..He looked over to see Scarlet holding him up, as Cody leaned towards her, He didn't mind that at all..It was rather embarrasing..As the Doctor crept by..

"Do not mind me~. Just continue your previous conversation~."

Yeah, ok. I'll just casually kiss the girl next to me..Uh huh..No..That wasn't going to happen..But he thought about it..As Cody kept his mouth shut though..His eyes leaned towards Scarlet..This position was rather..Suggestive..And thus made a blush burn on his face..

..He did his best not to smile..

"Now, deep breaths~"

Cody took one deep breath..Leaning towards Scarlet..This was definetly something that wouldn't work for a stethiscope.

"Hmm...." Layla hummed, leaning in further. "Sounds good so far~"

She glanced at the two and smirked. Why, their faces were as red as tomatoes~.

"Since your breathing looks good," She, absent-mindedly pushed the boy downward, pulling his face closer towards the girl -- almost enough for a certain, dangerous contact involving the lips.

... "Ah, no sign of scoliosis~" she said, palpitating his spine, "Looks goo- ... Oops."

She pulled away and smiled at the two.

A big oops on her part.

... but hey~ a desirable... side-effect?

She sighed. It was quite an awkward spot for her to be in. She continued holding him up, until she caught Dr. Layla's words. Scoliosis? Then, she heard oops. Within moments, she knew why. She felt Cody impossibly close, and their lips were touching. Her breathing was cut short. Her heartbeat was racing once again. This time there was an intense burning at the bottom of her gut. A feeling she had never experienced before. It was incredible. The feelings she had were just wanting to jump up and scream at the top of her lungs. It was amazing.

"Hmm...."

"Sounds good so far~"

He sighed a bit of relief, it sounds as if though he was going to be ok..Of course, the fact of the matter remained that Scarlet and Cody were close enough as it was..Something the two had never done before..It was new..And his face was red enough as it was.

"Since your breathing looks good,"

What was she doing now..?--

He felt a sudden force on his back, that made His face closer to Scarlet's, his eyes widened as they were close, so close..Too close..Cody considered it. He didn't know what to do, to say..

Should he..?

Well that decision would be seemingly made for him..

"Ah, no sign of scoliosis~"

..What's Scoliosis?

"Looks goo- ... Oops."

Oops?!

Oops, indeed. As the second she pushed against him lightly..He felt something he'd never experienced before. It was though time was slowing down to a halt..As his lips slowly moved against hers..They pressed against each other..

..They..kissed.

Cody's eyes opened wide with astonishment, his face burned with some sort of passion..He had no idea what he was doing. His stomach did a somersault as their lips stayed together, he was expecting her to pull away so soon..

But she didn't.

Cody could only close his eyes, bliss wrapped itself around his thoughts in a jumble as he had no idea what was going on..These feelings..He couldn't describe them as this was the first kiss he'd ever had.

He leaned into the kiss further..To him..It was good..

"Mmmh.."

Layla grinned as she heard the muffled sound from the young boy. Guess things worked out for the two, eh?

Her grin growing as the two went on she stood up, finished from the first part of the check up and picked up the chart and went to the bathroom.

--- Guess she decided to check on the output. Might as well confirm the Nurse's findings the previous hour ago.

... and at the same time, at least give the two a bit more privacy.

She heard the lady walk out the door. Scarlet immediately felt the privacy they deserved. She wasn't sure what to do next, but she really didn't want to pull away. There was such a burning feeling that she couldn't explain. It was different. She felt extremely incredible, but she was starting to lose her breath. So she gently pulled away, and looked at him. She saw a different side of Cody today that she really wasn't expecting to see. "Well this certainly turned out interesting," she whispered gently. She really wasn't sure what say. This was a totally new and different experience. She blinked. Her piercing evil optics watched him carefully. He wasn't really in condition for moving so suddenly. Then again, the doctor had pushed him toward it. She giggled quietly. Quite an interesting day.

Cody heard Dr. Clavering leave in the middle of the kiss, and finally it set ease to his emotions as he locked himself in a kiss with her, however even he was losing breath..But he didn't want to pull away so quickly. Simple as that..

She felt Scarlet gently pull her lips away from his, she was still holding him close to her..Cody opened his eyes to see that smile of hers once more. It was definetly something new..Perhaps they would do it again?

But right now, Cody was more tired than anything, he wasn't in any condition to make any sudden movements like that..So he had the Doctor to thank for giving him such a sudden shove into her like that..Although it kind of hurt, he was glad for it.

he didn't know what else to say after that..His breath had been taken all away by this girl, as his feelings were now exploding out of his mind..He didn't know what to say..All he could do was look into her eyes.

"Well this certainly turned out interesting,"

Cody was kind of shocked that she said something first..More or less whispered..But still..

"Y..Yeah.." He agreed..

Cody leaned back for her so that way she would have to hold his weight up any longer, he propped himself up on one arm. And looked at her..

"..Scarlet.." He said quietly.

"..Once I'm out of here..I'm going to treat you to something nice..What do you say..?"

Of course, he was asking for a date..

She watched him carefully lay back down, but still remained watching her. He seemed more exhausted than ever. She smiled, gently. Her gaze fell. She seemed troubled. She wasn't sure what to say. That question never came into her mind. Every guy she had been around was for training or for percussion. None of them had these feelings for her. She had never had any feelings for them, but she cared for them like brothers. Now, here. This incredibly great guy was asking her on a date, and she still remained silent. What the hell was a matter with her?

She wasn't sure. Probably a little stunned at the question. She went back to Cody's gaze and smile tenderly. "I say yes," she replied. A happy excited grin grew on her face. She was glad with the decision she had made. Finally, she would be some what of a normal human girl instead of the hardcore tomboy most knew her by. She was going on a date!

Cody felt different, like he had just broken barriers within his mind. One that needed to be taken care of, or at least..That's what his heart was telling him..Yes, this entire time Cody had been listening to his heart beat along with life's precipies..

Simple enough..Yet so complex..

Cody watched as her gaze fell, he wondered if he'd asked it at the wrong time..She seemed so troubled by the question..Maybe it wasn't in his best interest to ask at all, this made his heart sink a bit..Perhaps someone finally had accepted him for who he was..And perhaps, at that same time..

That thought went out the window.

But..

As we all know, God moves in mysterious ways, and with that, he caught a tender look from Scarlet's eyes..As she opened her mouth to speak, Cody's heart felt like it was going to leap out of his throat and onto the bed..

..What a mess that would be.

"I say yes,"

Cody gave a relieved sigh, as the smile on his face grew brighter, his eyes widened with what little strength..It seemed as though the glucose was beginning to wear off, though..As Cody felt a little weaker on his arm..He began to slip down a bit on his arm. Poor guy..He was doing his best to get and keep Scarlet's attention in the condition he was in..

"G..Great.." He said a little shakily..

His gaze faltered..As he fell backwards suddenly into the bed, he was tired..Too tired to do anything else..

He needed rest..

"..Meet me tomorrow..Out front of the Gym..My home..6 O clock.." He managed to mumble out to her..

He'd have to either sneak out, or do something to get out of here..He just needed rest..That's all..But even so..Even he was excited..A date..

Something he'd never done before..

How..Exciting!

..Cody breathed a bit, as his eyes began to slam shut..He did his best to stay awake for Scarlet..For as long as she was there..

[Scarlet]

She smiled, but it quickly faded as he fell into the bed. This visist must have tired him out drastically. She smiled gently. She took his hand, and squeezed gently. "All right. Don't tire yourself out too much," she replied gently. She watched him for a couple of minutes. She wasn't sure what to do. She had never been on a date before. These feelings were all new to her anyways. She just sat there watching him carefully. She knew that she would have to leave eventually. She would wait a little longer.

She placed her other hand on her cheek and smiled. She stood up and kissed him gently on the forehead. "See you tomorrow," she whispered. She collected her things and walked out the door. She spun around and looked at him once more. She breathed in deeply and walked out. It was about time for her to grow up become a normal girl. But, was there really a normal? She shook her head. There was no normal. No matter how hard you try. You will never be normal.

He could barley keep his eyes open, as he lay back in the bed. He had no idea that this feeling would be so..amazing! He sighed happily, as the drowsiness consumed his eyesight. He needed his rest, after all. Such thoughts tired him out to his most extreme points..

"All right. Don't tire yourself out too much,"

He felt Scarlet's hand squeezing his. The feeling was mutual, as he tried to hold it for as long as he could. However, he'd never been on a date himself before..It would be interesting to take out this girl someplace..This would be the first time.

He smiled.

"Don't worry.." He said softly, to reassure her. He didn't want to worry her at all. But he watched as she waited..

Finally, she made her move. Smiling, he felt her kiss his forehead..Those soft lips reaching his skin give him a bit of a shiver down his entire body. He liked the feeling..

"See you tomorrow,"

Was whispered in his ear..As he finally dozed off..Smiling of course, but there was so much to plan. He'd figure he'd plan it all in his head as he went along with rest. After all, this would be his first date he'd ever had. He'd definetly have to make it special for the two of them..

..He'd need to get out of here first. Which wouldn't be that hard.

But still..

..He'd have to go and get some nice clothes.
