Time to see what the big fuss was about with all these transfers. By now, the freaky chocobo-obsessed asian kid Rem Aoyama, would be pretty famous among the denizens of 259's hallways. He wandered the halls every single day at the noon, religiously. That was usually the time most of the fights or other interesting events occur. But today would be different. There would be no murmurs about the short kid, no adoring fangirls sneaking a peek. None. Because Rem was no where near the halls. Strange? Shocking!?!? I know!
The diminutive youth would be on the roof, holding a piece of paper in his hand that read:
Come one, come all (Transfers, that is) To the roof at lunchtime. (Just head UP, you can't miss it) Little ol' Rem Aoyama -Militia's second in command- has some interesting news for ya! (Anything you'd like to know~?) There will be muffins and juice! (100% guaranteed to NOT give you diarrhea!) See you soon~
PS. Definitely NOT a trap!
Yup, he'd pasted hundreds of these things all around the school, just as a gimmick. Most people would simply crumple something like this up, but the hilarity of the display would probably make them want to sneak a peek, even if they didn't really WANT to.

Gabriel had read the silly little piece of rubbish and figured that he'd check it out considering if any transfers were to take any offense to such a note that Rem would most certainly need some kind of back-up Though reading it broke Gabriel's solemn serious face he had to smirk at the genius of it, pluck out the weak or easily willed of the transfers and pick them out one by one, this would certainly give the militia a sway in the months to come Gabriel took the staircase to the roof with a wry grin on his face the door to the roof opened blinding him, he brought an arm to shield hisface till his eyes recovered, "you tricky bastard" Gabriel mocked joking, "What're you up to?"

"Haha, glad you could make it Mr. Seran."
Rem sat, crosslegged, at the far end of the rooftop, leaning against the fence that had been erected to ensure no-one "accidentally" fell off the roof.
"As for what I'm up to... Just wanting to get to know my fellow students..."
He stuck his tongue out at Gabriel teasingly.
"Is that so wrong~?"

Clever very clever Gabriel was getting to like the way this one thought now he knew why their leader had put him in a position of command, before he was merely a jokster now he is a plotting agent. "of course not, just figure that you should warn some one before you set yourself up to be thrown off the roof, I mean if you where so eager to do so I'd most certainly be inclined to help.." He mocked again Gabriel strolled casually to the edge of the building looking off before returning his gaze to the staircase as if expecting imminent company.

"Pfft~ Where's the fun in that, Mr. Seran. Though, I actually have every intention of engaging each and every transfer who does decide to come up here, in combat."
Rem stifled a yawn and scratched his forehead absentmindedly. Then, he sighed and chuckled.
"In hindsight, yes, I probably should have let you in on this sooner."

David stepped in behind the man called "Gabriel". He had a note clutched in his hand, and a small smile on his face. His left hand was in his pockets, and he walked casually, eyes on the boy who was sitting along the edge of the roof.
"I hear your looking to talk with transfers." He shrugged. "I'm a transfer. Whats on your mind?"
David wasn't one to pick a fight (as stated far too many times) and wasn't exactly here for one, though he knew it was a possibility. He was hoping he could quell this unspoken anger at the transfers- he had seen them attacked from many different viewpoints around the school. It was true, some were aggressive and brutal, but there were those like him who just wanted to live their days out in peace.
He stared at the boy, awaiting his reply.

"I hear your looking to talk with transfers. I'm a transfer. Whats on your mind?"
Rem whistled. Someone had come. Nice. He settled himself against the fence nicely and stared at the newcomer appraisingly.
"There's lots of things on my mind, friend. But chocobos and my girlfriends' underwear have no place in this conversation."
He chuckled and tilted his head sideways just a bit, amused, but not showing it.
"This is meant to be a forum in which you learn something from me you didn't know before. As such, it'd be appropriate for you to be asking info of me."

He chuckled a bit at the boys comment, then tilted his head upward as he sighed. Questions? He had plenty. Ones this boy could answer? Maybe.
"Info, eh? Okay, heres an interesting question." He brought his eyes back down to the boy and frowned a little.
"Why all the anger and hatred toward us transfers? Even those of us that aren't fighters-" Yeah right. "- Are being targeted. I just want to be left alone, but everyone seems intent on breaking my neck when they don't even know me. Why?"
His question finished, he waited, hoping this boy could shed some light on his current predicament.

As I walked the halls I would find myself stopping in my tracks as my eyes gazed down to the ground. At what? A small piece of paper laying crumbled in a ball right between my feet. I would simply bend down and grab the crumbled up ball.
Now I was at work. Pulling peace by peace of the paper to ensure I didn't rip a single part of it. "Perhaps this is a note to another student which was meant to be passed in class.. or maybe something else.. " I would think to myself while unwrinkled the ball of mystery.
I have to admit I was the curious and or nosy person if there ever was one. And finally unwrinkled and spread out I could read the little paper. It basically said to come to the rooftop at lunch.. to the transfers?
That part caught my eye. I was wondering what this was all about. I looked over at the clock on the wall and it was a little bit after lunch .. maybe ten minutes into it give or take a few minutes.
Sooo off I went. I walked in a steady pace to the stairs which would eventually lead me to the rooftop. Who was there? A couple students.. not really anyone. Perhaps I was early for their little meeting. I would notice one particular person "Gabriel " and walk up to the fellow student only to ask in a low tone.. "Soo.. whats this about man.. ? " I would ask curiously..

Rem brought a pensive hand to his chin and inhaled deeply. Such a question so early on in the conversation? Well, he should have anticipated as such. Not being as articulate as he should be to just speak and make sense, he decided to think before talking.
"Why, you ask? Well, my friend, there's only one real answer to that question."
He pondered some more and then nodded at the newcomer who'd stepped up to Gabriel. Seems that his flier had done more than he thought it would.
"Power. Instability. Anarchy. This school's got plenty of each... and its getting worse day by day. And it needs to stop. No-one else is picking up that mantle, and so we've decided that we need to make it stop."
A little off-topic, or was it? Rem continued.
"As you have no doubt already witnessed, many students in this school -and we're not even counting members of Militia- hate the transfers. This... hatred... contributes to the chaos. Everything's linked. Granted, as you've said, there are those transfers who want no trouble... trouble seems to find them. Fights, kidnappings, etc."
Rem let silence grow between them for a few seconds and then smiled and shrugged.
"Or....something like that, huh?"

Why the hostility, quite a good question, though Gabriel honestly had no particular view on the matter against any individuals, the transfers included, he still had a duty to maintain

Gabriel turned to meet Angel as he spoke "Soo.. whats this about man.. ? " The grin on Gabriel's face returned as he laughed bitterly "Its about power." He replied eerily Gabriel returned his attention towards the questions hurdled at Rem.

"Beating the hell out of transfers isn't making the Chaos stop. Its only adding to it."
While he would agree that the three factors seemed to reign supreme in the school, he disagreed with the fact that transfers were the only cause. There were plenty of them who didn't want trouble, but because of some misguided hatred, were forced to react and adapt to the havoc. If these students really wanted to help, they would put down all the rioting, period. Stop the students attacking the transfers and instead turn them to defending themselves, then the transfers wouldn't feel threatened. Only reason most of them fought was because they were continuously attacked. Get the crap kicked out of you enough times and you come to realize that nothing's getting better, and you just need to break down the people who are hateful toward you.
"Everyones hatred of the transfers makes no sense to me. There is violence, sure, but its not stemming from the transfers presence. Ive seen 259ers fighting themselves just as much as Ive seen transfers fighting others, and themselves. Putting that fact aside-" He smiled. "-You never actually answered my question. Why do people hate the transfers? Is it because people don't want a rival schools students in their halls? Is it because they're sometimes stronger, faster, smarter? Or is it because of specific groups or people have an unjust view of them as a whole, and so add gas to the fire by spreading rumors and attacking students?" He was speaking, in particular, about this "militia" the boy spoke of, though he didn't know if he would catch that.
He folded his arms across his chest.
"Seems to me the Capitan and her pillars should be blamed for the violence, not the transfers. If they were doing they're job in protecting both the school and its students, there wouldn't be any, or many, problems to speak of."
He wondered, briefly, if this boy was wanting a fight. He sure hoped not. All he was advocating would turn to mush if the kid attacked- the violence would only escalate if he and a "militia" member brawled.
He waited, thoughts on the matter at hand, eyes watching for movements from the other two boys on the sidelines.

"Beating the hell out of transfers isn't making the Chaos stop. Its only adding to it."An anticipated response. High and mighty, much? However, Rem couldn't blame him. No-one truly strove for anarchy... did they?
"In the short term, maybe, but not in the long-run. Our goal isn't to simply beat the crap out of the transfers... but to get rid of them. With them gone, the chaos plaguing our school will decrease. May not be as much as we'd like it, but it will. When the transfer 'problem' is taken care of, we'll turn our attention to other contributing factors."
"Everyones hatred of the transfers makes no sense to me. There is violence, sure, but its not stemming from the transfers presence. Ive seen 259ers fighting themselves just as much as Ive seen transfers fighting others, and themselves. Putting that fact aside you never actually answered my question. Rem whistled, blowing a stray fallen spike from his in front of his face.
"Forgive me, I misinterpreted. Who can say? I can't speak for the entire student body on why they hate transfers. It could be any of the reasons that you've mentioned. The fact remains that they do hate them. And 'that' is a problem. Wishing for co-existence at this stage is pointless and naive. We're not simply spreading rumors or attacking students. We're taking care of a problem. I suppose in this instance, its the whole 'ends justify the means' deal."
More silence. Then he shrugged and gave the man a grin.
"Me saying this doesn't mean that I wouldn't want co-existence, myself. Frankly, I wouldn't mind. I'd rather be spending time with my face smothered in my girlfriend's cleavage right now than being here taking care of some... loose ends."
"Seems to me the Capitan and her pillars should be blamed for the violence, not the transfers. If they were doing they're job in protecting both the school and its students, there wouldn't be any, or many, problems to speak of."
"Ooooh, trust me, we're well aware that that might be the case. Mitsuki Park and her flunkies will get theirs in due time."
Rem couldn't help but chuckle as he slowly rose to his feet and dusted himself off. He could tell, just by looking at this kid, that he was worried about a confrontation. He dug his hands into his hoodie pockets and gave David an ambiguous smile, as if to say 'maybe I will, maybe I won't.'
"What's your name, friend?"

He smiled, then sighed.
"In that, I'm afraid, i must disagree with you. The transfers aren't 'plaguing' the school, they're just trying to live, same as you and me. I'm a transfer, and i just want to make it to the end of the year so i can make my way into college, and i can only hope that the violence there will be less than here." The boy was, at the moment, mis-interpreting his stance and expression. David wasn't worried about a confrontation. Arrogance, conceit, confidence...you can call it what you like, but David knew that, should they fight, he would win. Maybe he was wrong, there was always that possibility and so he never underestimated his opponents, but he didn't become School Capitan at his old school by being weak or unable.
No, he wasn't worried about a fight.
He was worried about the reaction such a fight would get.
He shrugged, continuing to pour off the aura that Rem took as being worried or scared, and gave his name.
"David Blaze. I transfered here about a month ago from Public High School #809. You?" He stated. He continued to watch the other two by flicking his gaze at them every so often, but kept most of his attention on the boy in front of him. The kid thought himself some "Harold of justice and peace" but he left out that, through trying to get the transfers from the school, he would need to beat them until they "wisely" left. It all came back to violence, but he didn't really think the fellow realized it. The boy and his group were, as stated, only adding fuel to the fire.
David unbuttoned his dress shirt and breathed deeply, letting the wind cool off his body. He wore a black sleeveless shirt underneath it, which hugged his muscular and toned frame, allowing free movement of his arms. He didn't know if anyone else would show up, but he was coming to the slow realization that there must be a purpose to this calling. He couldn't picture someone asking for transfers, only to "Talk." He waited patiently for the boys name, and for an explanation as to what he was really after.

"Again, you misunderstand. I never said you're a plague, none of you. You're just fanning the flames, whether purposefully or not, whether its a malicious intention or not. I'm just saying it because its the truth."
Rem continued to stare at the man. Contrary to what his opponent might think, he wasn't underestimating him at all. In fact, if anything, his experience was telling him that this man was slightly over his own ability. However, it wasn't something that often scared the diminutive Japanese youth either. David would be perfectly right. A transfer brawling with a member of the anti-transfer movement? Not good PR for transfers. That was indeed Rem's motive... and he'd happily take one for the team to achieve it.
"David Blaze. I transferred here about a month ago from Public High School #809. You?"
He smiled, removing his hands from his hoodie pockets, revealing black leather gloves with Militia's insignia (Chocobo-edition) on the back of them. Rem clenched and unclenched his fists, trying to get the feel of the gloves. Damn... still as heavy as ever, ey? He tugged his hood to cover his eyes, tugging his goggles down onto his face as well.
"Rem Aoyama, and I'll be getting my ass kicked by you today, Mr. Blaze. A little simulation, shall we say?"
In an instant, Rem was airborne, performing a somersault at its apex and aiming at David's head with his right fist.
