Sunny days, nothing but sunny days in the county of orange. There was always bright times ahead for the liberal county, the refined busness affairs and great structure of this part of California, nothing could possibly go wrong. Yet again that was before the school systems changed and coperal punishment was enstated, now everywhere there was a fight for survival. A history lesson was now in order as a familiar character entered the fray.
Gabriel Seran, the returning senior to public high school #259 made his entrance to the scene. The school itself was still in chaos, the recent pillar fights had taken place and decided but order had still yet to be restored the place was ripe for creation, for destruction. And he was an agent of chaos.
The lockers looked all to similar, very orderly and neat as the students made there way across the threshold of knoledge and yet something was wrong. Kids lay strewn on the ground as the local gang remnants of the old Reapers trekked their 'order' on the students beating one kid to submission.
"okay, okay I surrender..." The small one panted as four larger more sinister ones panted from their flurry of fists.
"Now you know Reapers own this turf!"
*THWACK!*
Almost like a superhero's entrance Gabriel made his que knocking the leader to the floor, gashing open his face with little effort. He rubbed his knuckles gently as he beckoned for more, A calm facade concealing his more promenant plans. Time for order, but not at the hands of weak leadership, only the strong could rule thus making the weak strong, protecting the weak from the strong. Gabriel Seran, Vigilante for Justice.

"WE'RE REAPERS!"
they shouted with glee, just 2 of them, no big deal...
"this is me, not giving a shit!" Victor said with a big cheezy smile, what the fuck was a reaper anyway!?
they ran at him "you'll learn to respect our turf" one shouted, his fist raising.
Victor couldn't help but release a huge chuckle "Oh sh*t you guys are a gang!? the nasty gangs of Orange county, you guys are hillarious" Victor said, not stopping his laughter.
the kid connected a solid punch to Victor's jaw, and it sent him to the ground. Victor's eyes opened wide but he couldn't stop laughing. he had to admit everyone here was much stronger than back at moral crest.
The kid jumped on top of him, rearing his fist back for a punch, victor stopped laughing and just smiled.
"Alright Bro, whatev" he said, embracing his socal speak in a way of welcoming himself home. his huge arms ripped up from beneath the boy who was on top of him, grabbing his head and shoving it down so that his face met with Victor's forehead, crushing the kid's nose and making him black out. Victor threw the dead weight off of him and got up to face the other kid.
"AAA VEEEEEEEE KAY!" Victor shouted in the most bro-ish way possible, declaring AVK to the world before simply jumping on top of the other guy, pounding his face in something good before getting off when the kid stopped moving. ah how he missed socal, and the ability to solve everything with violence. "bra bra, brraaap!" he said under his breath with a little laugh
he turned his eyes catching a familiar figure. he scoffed shaking his head, then smiled his big lovable smile. "Gabriel, bro, you go here now?" he asked, walking up quickly, his hand coming out for the ever apperant bro high five. last time he'd seen gabriel... he didn't have any of his memories of everything that happened... and he was freaked out by Victor's very presence, but Victor was hoping this would be the old gabriel, the one he talked to in the tower that evening, the one who wanted to overthrow schools and generally FSU (f*ck Sh*t up!)

"Gabriel, bro, you go here now?" The familiar voice came out from the dog pile of bodies as Gabriel's emerald hues came upon a hopfully friendly body.
Victor? He hadn't seen the man since the day he'd been knocked unconscious. And therein lied a very foreboding question, one that he would have to ask of all his Black Knights. Was he still loyal to the end goal? He'd still remembered that day at the tower when he'd actually gotten a good perspective of the boy, when he'd stopped seeing him as a soldier and more of a brother figure.
"Victor?..." Gabriel didn't react quick enough to the high five seeing it as an odd action he moverd however bringing it down into a solid hand shake.
"What are you doing here? I_I thought you were still back at Moral Crest?" Gabriel's mouth ran a bit more than he'd hoped but he held back the key details.
'What's been going on there? how are the Black Knights? Is everyone alright?' questions he wanted to strike down with aggressive consciousness he felt the guilt now twang as he recognized his abandonment of them all. It was a shame in fact that their leader of all things left the battle. Then again he had his own responsibilities they could not ask him to endanger Aubrey or Eva. 'Why not? You sacrificed Reira...' the guilty voice struck back in his head resounding a sudden shock withing him.

Victor took the handshake in stride, Gabriel, something victor liked about him was that he always acted with so much class, that demeanor of interest and authority. Victor smiled wide as Gabriel expressed his shock at even seeing him here.
"Oh good you recognize me, for a minute there I was curious who exactly I'd be talking to, good to see ya again" he said, his bright eyes beaming. then as gabriel mentioned how he thought that Victor was still at moral crest...
Victor's smile faded for one brief moment and he flicked his head in a 'welll, ya know...' kind of fashion before opening his mouth "Yeah... really funny story about that" he said, his deep rich voice now blending with a slight italian accent he had picked up. "I met this guy, a real character, you'd probably love him, and me and him went on a hell of an adventure, but long story short he told me about this school and..." Victor smiled again as he looked around "well, seeing as how I was from Laguna in the first place, I figured coming back to the socal beaches seemed like a great idea" he said, his big smile in its full force.
"Ya know... some days it really seems like you just gotta believe in destiny... I mean, who would have ever thought we'd meet again, and like this?" he said with his regular chuckle "So what are the going ons of this place, anything of interest around this school?" Victor asked, his hand slipping easily into the pockets of his beige khakis.

A Character? Gabriel thought to himself, could it have been Emily? no he would have given her name if it was her... Gabriel contemplated who it might have been but never eluded to the fact that that phrase slipped by and caught his attention. However he took into account the boy's curriousity of the goings on of this school. Was it much lie any other school at this point and time, those in power not being efficient enough to maintain control while those at the bottem had inherantly suffered.
"Well...I'm sure you're insightful enough to come to a conclusion." Gabriel made a short remark nudging the passed out bodies at their feet.
They weren't done with the Reapers quite yet, in fact remnants of the old gangs still roamed. The Militia was still here though their numbers had dropped drastically and 'Unfettered' was nowhere to be found. Gabriel had spent his early days here searching the young man out.
From across the field a few heads turned and accusing fingers were pointed. They would be outnumbered at this point if the whole convent decided to turn upon them. Not only Reapers this time but Shadow Knights. They were each vile gangs, withought power at the top they had a weak structure and were extremely pliable for newcomers to develop certain acquities within the system. That would be a first step, then again Gabriel preffered growing from scratch this would be a new experience.
"If you don't mind I suggest we move, we may be strong enough to take them but then again what would it solve..."

Victor looked around at the 'reapers' whose unconcious bodies where strewn across the grass thanks to the hands of Gabriel and Victor, he was hoping to learn a little more about them specifically with his question, but Gabriel was right, he could already tell all he needed to know just from looking around, and he could easily find out details later if he really wanted to, it wasn't that big of a deal really...
Gabriel then noted the other kids now begining to walk toward them, probably to check on fallen comrades and try their hand at fighting the kids who beat them. Victor nodded, they had more important matters to discuss than the ones they could discuss with their fists.
Victor patted Gabriel on the shoulder to indicate he was welcome to join as he began to walk away from the mess of students left on the grass.
"So a whole lot of same old, same old..." Victor said to himself moreover, but loud enough for his rich voice to carry to Gabriel's ears "So are you thinking about restarting the black knights then, or is there another plan in store for this school?" Victor asked, his voice filled with pure curiosity, he showed no interest in joining the new gang, only in asking questions to an old friend.

Gabriel's head hadn't motioned once. he'd taken the words into account noting Victor's golden mood as ever. But something dark loomed over Gabriel's head. It was a part of his old life the one he'd left in San Francisco as awkward as that sounds. He was still coming to terms with defeat, never in his life had he rose to such foes and lost it was a moral killer and now he wanted it with far more voracity. The current Pillar establishment was still in shambles and now he had to make an offensive mood, he needed to make quick decisive choice but something inside him told him his decision was already made up.
"Yes... I hope to bring them back, for the sake of things to come." Gabriel nodded lightly in a calm motion not eluding to anything.
Gabriel turned once they were saftly away and locked eyes with Victor swiftly, "I can't be sure of what is to come but we need to be prepared, if we falter there may be far moe trouble than can be imagined." He shrugged lightly.
"For the mean time I must find someone, this man was a mentor of sorts to me and will help us when the time comes...assuming he hasn't changed in the time that has passed."

Victor nodded as Gabriel mentioned the return of the black knights, and his eyes lit up a little as gabriel said 'WE' need to be prepared, perhaps he already counted Victor among his ranks, victor did a mental shrug and tucked that little piece of information away for later.
Gabriel then mentioned about his 'something of a mentor'
mentor?
Victor suddenly remembered why he was in long beach in the first place, and his own new 'something of a mentor' funny how these things tend to happen in succesion.
Victor wasn't about to open his mouth about his own current situation, he didn't know if he'd be able to commit to the black knights and gabriel's side this time, he liked gabriel, he really did, but it was too hard to say at the moment... he liked Z.E.B too
Instead of words Victor just kept nodding as Gabriel mentioned the mentor, then he finally set himself to speak.
"So whaddya do when you find him?" Victor asked, his left hand going into his pocket, his right coming up casually to accentuate his question, his deep blue eyes gleamed, whoever Gabriel's 'mentor' was must be some incredible person to have trained someone like gabriel... Victor actually wanted to meet the man himself a little

"I suppose I'll have to catch up..." He chuckled lightly, "Going back to my roots as they would say."
Gabriel turned a curious gaze onto Victor. Though the man was almost like a brother to him at this point, or about as close as any brother had been in his lifetime. He still had wavering feelings, trust being the most crucial the one person he'd trusted was Jonathan Winters and that was a while ago he was quite curious on how much had changed or even so how much Gabriel himself had changed.
"I would ask you one favor however? I do intend to grow stronger to combat what may lie ahead... and I suspect you may do the same, would you be so inclined to spar with me?"
Gabriel shrugged questioningly never shuttering nor shuffling for a moment, everything within him being cool and precise as a well oiled machine.

Victor chuckled with him, it was a simple answer, and a good one. Victor had actually forgotten how intelligent and refined gabriel was, it had been so long since he last saw him, and he felt himself slowly changing to his own refined persona to match it. Then Gabriel asked if he wanted to fight in twice as many words as he needed to, but Vitor liked the elagance and he also liked the thought of a good tussle.
"I think you're assumption would be correct, and we could both benefit from training with each other" victor's rich voice echoed the idea back to him, Victor liked speaking with some refinement as well, it took him back to the days when he attended private school and it was a requirement to speak with proper diction and grace
"Let's have at it then" Victor said, knowing that Gabriel was probably still much stronger and faster than him he took a swing, his right arm wooshing through the air toward Gabriel's chest, just a simple move to start off the fight. the only thing Victor had to his advantage was that it was sudden, but it was still fairly easily blockable, or dodgable

"Let's have at it then"
The strike came far sooner than Gabriel had been expecting. The thrust was blocked with a fist of his own more out of reaction than anything as his left forearm came up to take the impact steadily as he held his own ground. With the calculated damage and speed Gabriel could tell that he'd gotten a fair share stronger, and faster for that matter since the last they'd been training. To say the least he was impressed.
Gabriel moved suddenly with his right foot shuddering back and his forearm shifting gracefully he would attempt to grasp Victor's arm and throw the boy completly with the force of his one arm. Through the throw Gabriel's left leg would remain constant forcing Victor to jump over or thus resulting in a trip. If all went successful Gabriel would have thrown Victor into a trip going headfirst into the wall.
After the sudden strike Gabriel would release and peddle backwards hoping to avoid or prepare for any iminant attacks on the reversal.

Victor had launched full in and was now about to pay the price, Gabriel certainly had never been a slouch, and had not gotten any less fast than he used to be. he felt the grip on his forearm and as he stumbled over the outstretched leg he toppled through his own momentum. His left arm flung out against the wall, stopping his momentum with a jerk. Victor waited for a moment as the vertigo faded and he turned his head around to look at gabriel who had jumped back expecting the next strike. Victor just smiled, he loved this game
He pushed off the wall with his left hand, running the few steps, he then bounced the last couple keeping his right foot forward as he got close. he planted his left foot down while still having the forward momentum and sidekicked with his right foot, aiming for Gabriel's abdomen. he kept it clean, he really actually kind of enjoyed being tossed around, at least it kept things interesting.
Victor had been taught a few tricks over the last few months, though he wasn't quite prepared to use them yet.

There was a moment that Gabriel had noticed that playful grin, something that would have appeared moreso on his own face had he not had other intentions for this fight. Like everything Victory was worth the cost. That was his ideal a fair while ago when he'd first met Victor yet over this past year his world had been flipped upsidown. There was no longer something as easy as black and white figures in the world everything was a muddled grey. Still it changed little, ambition still coursed through Gabriel's veins, strength was the root to respect here and respect was the ultimate currency.
He hobbled backward lightly as he saw the prominant strike. Again Gabriel noticed the sizable difference in his fighting stature as if new muscles had formed their over the short few months. It made him curious as to how he'd done it. Though in the same sense Gabriel was still gaining a chokehold upon his own growth.
Crouching Gabriel dropped so that the kick would more so hit him in the ribs but with a rise of his left arm Gabriel would feel the impact shudder his arm steadily. The hit nudged him aside for a short bit but now was the opening, with a twist of his shoulder Gabriel jabbed out towards Victor's pelvis hopefully knocking hit back or better yet of balance.

Victor smiled, Gabriel had grown a little physically since their last meeting, he remembered feeling frustrated being beaten by someone who was lanky and tall but so freakishly strong, at least now Gabriel was looking as though he was as strong as he was, Victor had no qualms about that.
From the first mention of 'let's spar' Victor knew he was going to probably lose, but that didn't matter, at this point it was simply for fun and just to show how much he had grown, not to prove anything, only in a friendly manner
Gabriel was quite the fighter, rolling into the hit and lifting his arm to keep Victor on one foot as he punched. Victor tucked in, his free hands coming down to try to steer the blow away, but Gabriel was too fast, his arms took the brunt of the hit but the punch still knocked him right over as he was still only on one leg. he rolled over his shoulder as he hit the ground, spinning and popping right back up, taking up a bouncing little stance. with his signature smile and playful blue eyes. he wanted everyone to be enjoying this! best not make it too easy!

Rebound guy right there. It amused him, Gabriel that was but now he was feeling himself start on a roll, the force of momentum now on his side Gabriel pressed forward trying to corner Victor against the wall. He'd come forward roughly firing a right punch, all too obvious of a strike for him. Again much like Gabriel the winds of change moved quickly as his rough speed abruptly was to stop, his left foot catching behind the right and with a careful spin would do a 180* turn using the same right hand as a weapon but this time the palm would open in a backhand to the face should it hit.
The tell tell sign however was the shift of weight quickly to his feet and hips, the shift from forward momentum to the right would slow him momentarily making it open for a counter should he prove accurate enough.
