Well, I'm a dragon... but I have to keep it to myself for awhile. Wouldn't want to upset the powers that be... nor would I want to go and spout out that I'm a dragon when I'm not even sure if I'm ready to take on the challenge here....
Matrim walked through the halls of the school, wearing his old leather jacket with the hood and all. His hands in his pockets he leaned back against the wall, taking a moment before entering the empty classroom which he was going to meet Linda in to get an update on everything. After all, she had become his mentor of sorts as far as Dragons go. It started off as Leon, then went to Mathew, and became Linda as of late. All three were respectable dragons of which Matrim had the pleasure of fighting, well... he never finished a fight with Linda, but wanted to badly.
But that would wait....
Matrim took a seat on one of the desks, waiting for Linda to show up. He looked down at his hands, thinking about all the new tricks he couldn't wait to show Leon. But that would have to wait... there were quite a few things he had to do first.

"Empty classroom should be right... about.... HERE!" She announced, more or less for herself, as she entered the classroom. It was empty, as expected... And her new, well we won't go there just yet, was sitting at an empty desk, like he said he would. Linda walked over to the front of the classroom, and sat right on the teacher's desk.
"Ello Moto." She greeted Matrim with a forced smile, just for pleasantries.
"This place has changed so much..." She said as she looked around the room. "So, what's new?"

"Ello Moto." Linda said, walking into the room with a smile. "This place has changed so much... So, what's new?" She said, taking a look around the room. Matrim looked but he wasn't here long enough to really get a feel for the change. All he knew was that he wanted to get a lot of stuff done and over with. For one he wanted to officially be a Dragon. Linda had given him the title, but he kept it held back, not using it quite yet. If he was going to show everyone, he was going to do it right, get everything set up.
"Well, nothing too different for me as far as I've noticed. And as for new... well the kids good. I have a really really really nice place, waterfront, it cost me a about five mil, but it was worth it," He said, "How about you? Any news? I still haven't run into Leon or anyone else for that matter. Just an over active teacher and one of Gabriel's old goons. Otherwise I've been lying low, trying to stay off the radar so I can make more of a grand entrance when I'm ready."
Matrim reached into his bag, pulling out a banana, pealed it, and took a bite out of it. He was a bit hungry and he could use the potassium. Mmmm, potassium, full of preventing-you-from-cramping goodness.

Linda smiled.
"I ran into Gabriel. Seems he is a Dragon now." Linda giggled as she waved to Matrim. She knew that of all he would enjoy that news.
The idea, or fact rather, still had the Bone Dragon baffled. How in the hell did Leon EVER seem him fit for the title. Clearly either he had changed, or the game had. The code of the Dragons had been broken.
"Its really not too surprising that Leon would just jump the gun and break the code, but Gabriel?" She began to laugh once more. None of this made ANY sense. The last Dragon to be appointed was Chrynos the Storm Dragon...
"Regardless of what is already done, a conflict seems immanent. I have to play my pieces right." She sighed after breaking the news.

"I ran into Gabriel. Seems he is a Dragon now." Linda said, giggling. Matrim however, was not so amused. He wanted to hti something... hard. He felt like punching a desk but he had more control than that. He could of course punch Linda, but to be honest he was somewhat worried about her punching back and it turning into a big fight and bad stuff would happen. But... she kept talking so he just listened, "Its really not too surprising that Leon would just jump the gun and break the code, but Gabriel?" Again a fit of laughter. Maybe she was a bit hysterical. Matrim knew he wasn't quite yet a Dragon. He got a name, but that was it....
"Regardless of what is already done, a conflict seems immanent. I have to play my pieces right."
"Great, good for him," Matrim said, "I mean sure it's something I've been working towards since Alaska, took me a couple moves, and I had to go through three different Mentors until I was finally ready to even get told what my name's gonna be. But yeah.... good for him......"
Matrim was in denial about the whole situation. But he lingered on what Linda had just said in his head, "Why don't we just kill him? Gabriel, I mean... or better yet expose him for the weakling he is. I'm pretty sure Leon hasn't heard of his great victory over the school lawn. Or that time when he almost beat up a fetus. Shayne's dramatized, I swear. But seriously? Only thing that could ever be worse than that is if he was running around screaming about being a Dragon. You know, it wasn't too long ago that he was against the 'oppressors' and those who used their strength on others. Not to mention he was a member of militia... which if I remember wasn't too fond of the Dragons."
Seriously... I mean what the hell is wrong with that guy. We might as well have a weather forecaster trying to guess what he's going to do next.....

She kept up her smile, it wasn't about to go anywhere.
"Well you could kill him, I wouldn't mind that in the least. If Leon really did appoint him to the status of Dragon, then clearly the Dragons aren't what they used to be and that would make myself a dying breed. You know what though?... I may be one of the last of my generation, but I can start anew. It is probably time that you start showing these inposters what a real dragon can do." She stopped leaning on the desk and started to walk over to the window.
"Matrim, we should start snuffing them out, before they can tarnish our name any further. You know, show them what the difference is between them... and US." She looked back to Matrim. "I'm thinking of working on a new brood... What do you think?"

A few points stuck out there, he already planned on showing them what he could do. What he was willing to do for his name to be feared, to make people think twice about ever coming after him. Even Leon....
Maybe I finally should.....
"I'll make my appearance known well, as soon as it's right. I'd like to take care of our wannabe Dragon first. Hopefully there aren't any other wannabe's walking around with a title they don't deserve. Gabriel will get his..." Matrim said, "As for a new brood, sounds good as long as it's people who deserve their title. And I'd like for us to rid of those who don't... permanently."

The Bone Dragon clapped her hands.
"I'm absolutely ecstatic that we are in agreement. I'll grease the gears to keep this machine rolling, you take the gun." Nothing like a tank reference to get to the point. Linda looked at Matrim. She could tell that he could not stand the thought of Gabriel having a Dragon title, not after everything that he had gone through to become one. He knew that the difference between his and Pyro's power was immense, and Linda could tell that it disgusted him.
"So is our little meeting adjourned?"

"I'm absolutely ecstatic that we are in agreement. I'll grease the gears to keep this machine rolling, you take the gun." Linda said after clapping her hands together. Matrim was ready to kill Gabriel. Not just to get him off his back, no this time Matrim would set out and actually be on the offensive. Gabriel was dealing with Matrim trying to get him off his back and nothing more.... now it was much worse. And Matrim knew that going in, he'd have to finish the job.
"I'll tear him apart......."
"So is our little meeting adjourned?"
"Guess so," Matrim said, his anger somewhat riled up, "One last thing........"
Matrim grabbed a desk, and threw it hard into the wall, smashing the desk apart for the most part, but embedding the metal parts into the wall.
"What's his title....."

"What's his title....."
"Not sure... but he identified himself with us. That's enough for me to want to kill him." She ended with the always pleasant smile.
Linda needed to gather more info. If she was going to keep the gears of the apocalypse turning as she promised, she would have to be on top on her information gathering game.
"We probably shouldn't jump the gun and attack the others yet. Just eliminate what we have identified to be the runt of the Dragon litter. After Gabriel is taken out, it should send the others a message that we are back."
Linda's face could only be summed up as.... ;D

"Yeah, and after that we'll have to be careful. Worst case scenario we get everyone trying to pick us off when we're alone. But I doubt that'd happen, it's not his style. Either case, even if only one of us is needed to take out Gabriel, we should both be there just so the other can watch," Matrim said.
"But if that's it, I guess we can call this meeting adjourned," Matrim said, walking toward the front of the classroom, "We should spar sometime, somewhere out of the school, that way we're both in good shape for this. You might have gotten a bit rusty considering how little fighting you've done. Wouldn't want the bone dragon to rust...."
He'd laugh a little bit, realizing that might offend her a little bit, but it didn't matter since it was the truth. She had been in a few fights, but nothing that really challenged her or brought her to the limit. If her and Matrim fought seriously with each other, and avoided any long term damage, they could probably do some damage to the environment around them not to mention work up a good sweat.
"Anyway, you have my number, I have yours, I'll see you around." Matrim opened the door and headed out, raising a hand as he left as if giving a motionless wave goodbye before lowering it into his pocket, whistling as he made his way through the halls, putting his hood up and pulling out some sunglasses.
